What an absolute gem of a place!
Staff were absolutely amazing, shout out to Laurie who really went above and beyond, just had a good vibe and made sure all his tables were looked after!
Food and drinks were delicious, so good we stayed for hours and had two meals!!!

Went there on a whim as band elsewhere was cancelled. Ordered food and drinks and went up to order a drink and the bar girl said I couldn’t order a drink unless I had a glass of water🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️. I m 62 and was with my husband and was not drunk. Told her my driver was coming in 15 minutes. Probably 6 customers at that time Sunday afternoon and this is their attitude. Good luck to them

We love The Avenue! The staff are always friendly and the food is great. One of the things we love the most is that there’s such a wide range of people there, so everyone fits in and is welcomed.
Definitely a fun night out, no matter when you choose to go

Unbelievably bad service . They advertise a $25 steak special on a Wednesday. Then insist you must buy drinks with your dinner. Then ask what sauce you want to go with your steak and charge extra for that. My wife also got charged extra for hers. $10 for sauce. No wonder the place was empty. Would suggest going to the Irish pub around the corner. Disgusting unprofessional service.

Third or fourth visit to The Avenue with family. Go specially for the steaks which are always fantastic (currently two to choose from - Rump or Eye Fillet). My son really enjoyed his cocktail too.
Service is friendly at this long time Surfers institution and this time round (early Saturday evening 2nd Dec) really enjoyed the entertainer as well.
Steaks are priced at $40 and $45 and utilised an Entertainment Book 2 for 1 offer to the value of $40 so very happy all round.

The food here was very good and the service was impeccable. We had the pizza and ribs with a salad on the side. The ribs were perfectly fall off the bone done and just the right amount of sauce. The full rack was on a bed of fries and fresh slaw on the top. Very well balanced and delicious
The pizza was hot and fresh with loads of cheese. Very tasty and although not NY style yummy nonetheless.
Service was great and the ambiance was good. Slow season but still good crowds for a Monday. Had a good promo if you use yelp and check in and they already had a good special for pizza and pasta.
Would come again to try the rice dish for lunch!

Super meal and cocktails. We had a great dinner here, service was super friendly and meals were served really quickly. The Karaage Chicken and pork belly were delicious! We would come back for sure: thanks!!

Nice location and premises but it was so cold and windy where we sat at the front of the restaurant. The heaters did minimal.
The food was nice, very tasty and presented well. and served promptly. Staff were very efficient.
It was a little on the expensive side at just over $145 for 2 adults and 2 kids but I guess that comes from the location, it is the Gold Coast after all!!
I would eat here again, but perhaps pick a booth further inside than toward the front where the cold air gets you, especially with the kids.

Me and the other half visited on Tuesday Night 27th Feb. The atmosphere was great friendly staff and took order promptly. This is where it went down hill. Ordered a started Garlic Pizza do enjoy with a drink. Pizza was on the table for 4min and the Mains came out. This made us feel rushed and no time to really enjoy and evening dining out. The chicken Burger the other half had was great looked yum. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, this was less then impressive fries, dry piece of chicken and a small salad. No source? Was hard eating this as it was dry and cardboard like. This was more expensive then the burger, made no sense.

Love the quaint eatery resting beautifully in surfer paradise. Enjoyed this nice salad. My friends enjoyed the excellent burger & fries. Excellent table service. Food season to the palate. Nice music and atmosphere to enjoy a peaceful lunch..plenty of seating area..no long lines to wait in...definitely a plus. Truly a welcoming culture diverse diner. Staff friendly & courteous.

Let me start by giving a huge shoutout to our waiter, Laurie! He was simply amazing right from the start. The food not only looked great but tasted incredibly delicious too. I highly suggest trying out their noodles – they're a real treat!
All in all, it was a fantastic dining!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Avenue restaurant, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every detail of my dining experience was taken care of.
The menu at Avenue is a culinary delight, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to every palate. I decided to try their Prawn Pizza, Karagee Chicken, and Loaded Fries, and I was blown away by the flavors and the quality of the ingredients.
The Prawn Pizza was a delightful combination of succulent prawns, flavorful sauce, and a thin, crispy crust. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. It was a unique twist on a classic pizza, and it exceeded my expectations.
The Karagee Chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The crispy coating gave it a satisfying crunch, and the accompanying dipping sauce added an extra layer of flavor. It was a true delight for the taste buds, and I couldn't get enough of it.
The Loaded Fries were the perfect accompaniment to the main dishes. They were generously topped with cheese, bacon, and a tangy sauce, creating a delicious combination of flavors and textures. Each bite was a mouthwatering experience, and I couldn't resist going back for more.

The service at Avenue was top-notch. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to provide recommendations based on my preferences. They were also attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout the meal.

I love the experience. The Avenue is a excellent place and the monday karaoke is so fun. My favorite bar in Gold Coast. The bartender Gustavo is really nice and kind.

Had a “lunch special” Burger here and it was one of the best I have ever had, huge patty and amazing BBQ sauce. Chips were sooo nice as well, all for $15. Can’t go wrong. Wife had the Barramundi special which was also very tasty.
On a previous day we both had the daily special Chicken Schnitzel. A huge, tasty meal.

Great location with great atmosphere. There is live music at dinner time. Seeing that people from all walks of life can enjoy great diversity in this environment. This time it was with family so there were children eating together. Great food, friendly staff. Family Day is the perfect end to the day.

Drinks service was good, but not the food. It took nearly 2 hours to get our meal. The salmon was over cooked and the mash was stone cold.

Good setup. Quite private up the back. Disabled access from the side. Meal though was definitely hit & miss. Had the ribs which were really good. Tasty & perfectly cooked. Also had a '3 option platter' which included: 4 duck spring rolls...which were not very good at all (we both got a fishy flavour from them?!), the meat & cheese platter which was very good...LOVED the brioche toast pieces, & the garlic pizza bread which had very little garlic, but was quite nice.
The one factor that shines was the service. It was great! Staff checked on us regularly & were really polite & helpful. Staff: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Prices are good & overall an ok lunch.

Full rack of incredibly tasty ribs for $25 on the Gold Coast?? Get out of here! So good! Tender and yummy. Great cocktails too!

Food is so good here. Ribs were cooked well melting soft $22 on specials and pizza was tasty. They have many specials like daily specials, lunch specials, tapas and happy hours.

Dude. How do you screw a steak??? The bloody thing was grey. No caramelisation. The cocktails were quite bad too. For the cost it really was a massive let down.

Crispy pork belly is exceptional.
I guess it is because of the sauce and the salad that comes with it.
I don't eat raw oysters but my friend is craving for seafood so yeah, it's there in the picture.
I have the thought that it is a beachfront restaurant but it is not. Otherwise, all good 👍🏻

Came to this place just for a quick dinner, but when we went up to the bar and let Eddie, let’s just say it was like an Angel had dropped from heaven. I’ve been having a hard time recently as I recently lost my dog 🙏 a week ago and Eddie was so comforting an helpful. This was the kind of service I really needed and I cannot express my recommendation for this venue further!

Awesome place. The Avenue. Visited here 2nd and 3rd June. We always choose to sit outside at the bench. It's great for people watching. Live music between 4pm and 8pm from 8pm love DJ with music for everyone. All walks of life to enjoy The Avenue. I have to give credit on entertainment and live music. No one was sitting down. The DJ had everyone on the dance floor because it was music that you COULD DANCE to! Nailed it and always do The Avenue. Bigger bounus being between 4pm and 6pm super crisp Great Northen beer $5 each.... 😛🤩🍻 I'm not sure about other beers, but shots are $6 as well in those 2 hrs..... WOOHOO! Shout out to the awesome security guard Yassine. Yasmine, every time we visited Yassine has always had a smile on his face. Nothing ever seemed too much for him regardless of how he was being treated by patrons - RESPECT 🙏 bar staff are great, friendly, and helpful. I always🥰 love coming here, enjoying our Avenue experience every time. Great for families, couples, throuples, singles and whoever or how many of you there is.

Absolutely loved the food, service, atmosphere as a whole. We were running late thinking of dinner. They were closing the kitchen, but they still accommodated us to a meal, a table. The service was outstanding!!!! Well done to Management and staff!!!!! The Avenue has been an all time favourite of mine, so when I had returned after quite some time, I was absolutely loving the experience.

Atmosphere and staff are so helpful, kind and accomodating. Delicious cocktails and food with many option and at a good price. (The white wine Sangria is a new fav!) Will definitely go back. 100% recommend on a Thursday night
