Went here for my sons birthday food was delicious we had a pizza 🍕 and steak chips n salad and a seafood platter yum 😋 good atmosphere highly recommend to book a table as gets busy

We have chilled out here many times,nice view of Urangan jetty, happy hour in the afternoon. Happy hour pizza a great deal, except for the extra charge of $2 just for a sprinkle of chilli flakes, what a ripoff! It’s only a condiment (like salt & pepper) not a topping or expensive ingredient, it use to always be free. At the most should only be charged 0.50cents. Public bus runs along this esplanade (check time table) the stop is just up from the hotel, I would check hours of operation as it’s not a late in the evening service ( taxis/uber etc) after that. The venue runs a courtesy bus on Friday and Saturday nights starting from 5pm, leaving on the hour.

We enjoyed a great family night out on Thursday for steak night. We haven’t been in a little while. It would have been nice to be able to order from the table but the App didn’t recognise and therefore discount the specials. Not the end of the world as we simply ordered at the desk like most others. Our steaks were perfectly cooked as ordered and the salad lovely and fries amazing! The staff were so helpful too. All of the food served around us looked great and priced very reasonably. The air conditioning was very welcomed too!

Very average. I had great expectations and was disappointed with the food and wait time. It was very busy and had to wait about an hour for food. I was very hungry and wanted to leave. The food was ….. edible. Lucky for them that they take payment before they serve. After three bites I wished I had gone to the takeaway fish and chip shop down the street.

Thursday night special: 300g Rump $21.50! It was cooked to perfection 👌 so many deals throughout the week we cant keep up 😆 Ray gave us the run down, she was lovely, thank you 😊

They have great vegan options! Lovely view and atmosphere but the smell of cigarettes is very heavy, inside and outside.

The reception was very responsive. Our table needed attention. There was an apology and quick attention. Our meal was lovely and timely. There was a delay with our coffee, but there was a new staff member learning the job, so we were happy with the explanation, and we did get our coffee. All around, it was very good, and we do go there quite a bit, and will continue to do so

The beat grilled seafood platter I've had. Great value on Wednesday nights. When you buy one meal second one is half price. Very reasonable prices too. Highly recommend.

The Bayswater Bar and Grill is our anytime go to venue in Hervey Bay
Anytime, because the great quality of their meals is always reliable 🏆
On-street parking can be sought after but persistence will be rewarded with a suitable spot
There are stairs from the footpath to the venue but there is a pedestrian ramp in front of the adjoining Oaks Resort
The venue is quite large and tables are well spaced. Outdoor terrace ocean view dining is very popular with the indoor area divided in two, pizzeria & ice creamery to the left and pub & sports bar to the right
With a great range of menu options, there’s a delicious meal to suit almost everyone 😋

Stopped for a coffee which came with a delicious cookie. Service was quick and the extra hot coffee was extra hot.

Overall great location, good drinks but food was no good. Oysters were bad - smelt off the minute they hit the table. Onion rings were greasy basket of slop as were the cauliflower bites which had double the batter to cauliflower (see pics). Seafood platter was ok.

My daughter & I had a lovely meal here last Monday with the perfect view.
Great service, great food at a reasonable cost, & good atmosphere - recommend to all 😊

Lovely ambience with subtle lighting and atmosphere was very relaxing. Looking over a lake, it really exudes the holiday feel even though I was here on business. I had the Angel hair pasta with prawns, chilli, garlic, parsley, and saffron butter and parmesan (entre size) for my main and the apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. Both meals were terrific with great taste and the right proportions. Really enjoyed them both. I arrived early without booking and enjoyed table 9 in front of the window overlooking the lake and gardens.

I was looking forward to my first dinner out in months and decided to go to the Bayswater Bar and Grill. The experience was not pleasurable at all. We walked in a few minutes early and no one to direct us to our table had to flag some one down after asking at the bar. We ordered chicken wings, duck spring rolls, barramundi burger, chicken parma and calamari and chips.
Chickens wings, where the worst I've ever had, they where almost boiled.and had that foul chicken fat flavour.
Duck spring rolls, I couldn't distinguish what was in the spring rolls. The sauce was what made them edible.
Chicken Parma, was dry and lifeless, but it was the better out of all the dishes. Mushroom sauce was like gravox with mushrooms, why cut corners its a bistro!!
Barramundi burger was oversized and oily.
The calamari stunk like 5 day old fish.
The venue itself was noisy and hot and furniture/seating was oily.
Considering I was sitting next to my youngest son and couldn't hear a word he was saying.
Considering The reviews this place has I couldn't say any thing nice but the beer was cold and the bar tender was helpful, but other than that I would gives this place a wide berth as far as meals go.

I love this hotel. I go there whenever I'm in Hervey Bay. The staff are polite & efficient & the beer & cocktails are always great. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a drink & wonderful company is just beautiful.

Hervey Bay delivered a perfect day, the Bayswater delivered a perfect setting & lovely buffet breakfast for Mothers day 2024. The staff were lovely, welcoming & helpful. Had a lovely morning, thank you.👍

Had a wonderful holiday buffet at Bayswater Bar and Grill! Choices were excellent and the food was plentiful! Plus the view was spectacular outside on the porch! Had a lovely time and enjoyed our visit to Hervey's Bay!

Great pub atmosphere, fantastic live music from a local called Doug. The food was good, not great just good. The staff did give me the heads up that the pizza was cooked in another kitchen and won’t come out at the same time as the others…it was 45 mins apart 😂 Again the staff did the best they could apologising for the delay. One massive irk is a SURCHARGE on any card transaction even savings accounts. That’s just cheeky.

Great buffet breakfast. Fantastic location. Shame the barista coffee was an added expense. Would go to an early session next time as we missed out on the waffles

Good selection of daily specials for only $15.
Our steak was cooked properly, tender and juicy. The chips were crisp and the salad was dressed with a nice green goddess style dressing. Mushroom sauce was delicious.
Nice bistro menu, good service and great views.
Comfortable seating inside and outside.
Bright, modern and clean.

Friendly service & a great feed. I had the 300g sirloin & it was a seriously good steak! Best of all it was under $40. I'll be back for a feed next time I'm in town. Cheers

Food was awesome, thanks so much to the Chef!! Could not finish our meals, we were so full! Floor service was non existent, could definitely improve but friendly bar staff. Thank you.

First time eating here. Ordered the $15 lunch special, very happy with the Sirloin ordered, cooked to perfection, served well, coupled with yummy salad and a super crisp beer... Definitely eating here again!!!

Awesome location for a lunch. Staff very professional with top quality service. Bayswater Prawn Pizza was amazing and the Double Angus Cheese Burger was huge. Fantastic atmosphere and views overlooking the water and jetty. Definitely recommend a meal here.

After 3 attempts to get order right, it came out with the prawns missing. The first meal was at the table and eaten before the other meals arrived. The wait was over an hour for meals. Although our meals were well cooked and tasty the veggies were raw and cold. Service was very average and almost to the point of being rude.
