We’ve been putting off trying this place for a while, as the prices are on the higher side, but after finally trying - it was well worth the money. The scotch fillet steak was cooked to perfection and the pork knuckle was huge! It’s a self serve restaurant with staff available at the bar if you need assistance. Staff were great and friendly, love the whole beach vibe. Will be back! Thanks

Went to the Belvedere on Sunday and had a drink, some hot chips and a margarita pizza. The food was just delicious, cooked perfectly. Plenty of friendly staff, great atmosphere, great views from our table and great service. There were lots of people of all ages eating, drinking and catching up. We had no trouble finding a place to park, as there's a carpark around the back and street parking available too. Just a great place to go and we'll definitely be going back!

Very big venue - kind of like a pub but with a nicer interior. It’s very open plan with indoor/outdoor vibes. They had a football game playing on a giant screen inside but everyone was mostly families or groups of friends… I think if they had something more generic like a pretty scenery video on the tv more people would watch it and it would make the interior vibe feel nicer instead of a old school football playing pub. The food and drink service was good. They don’t have a lot of vegetarian or vegan options so I got pizza.

Upstairs restaurant is an absolutely amazing atmosphere and view over thr moreton bay towards clontarf. Parking is an ease, the quality of food was pretty decent but I had the chicken parmi and I would say it was average. Mum had the barra and the portion of the fish was small vs the amount of noodles you had and the soup. Overall, a good experience, with a good view. 7.5/10

This venue is massive and can accommodate so many customers. We had the chicken schnitzel, Hawaiian pizza, steak sandwich and the lobster pie. All servings were quite big and two people could have easily shared a dish. Food was nice. The atmosphere is quite lively and there are plenty of big screens with sports on. For those who want a more intimate setting, you can choose to sit upstairs.

The service was shocking.... went out for my daughters 18th with 23 other people. We spent at least $600 between all of us. My husband went to check Keno and waited while 2 staff members had a chat, he asked if he could get served and they said "when we are ready" what kind of remark is that? When they were going to bring the cake out we asked if they could clear the plates from the table, basically rolled her eyes at us, didn't think that was too much to ask but it obviously was. Honestly the food was amazing! Can't fault the food at all. The German pork knuckle was delicious and so was the seafood. But seriously need to do a staff check and put people through some training. One staff member didn't even know what Semillon sauvignon blanc (SSP) was, I would like to think that a bartender should know what they are selling.

The Belvedere Hotel, Woody Point - 12pm, Sunday, February 11th, 2024 Order: Steak Sandwich ($24.00), Smashed Burger ($22.00) My visit to The Belvedere Hotel at Woody Point left much to be desired. Utilising the QR code ordering system meant there was no traditional service, but my wife did receive her drink promptly. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was less than satisfactory. My chocolate frappe arrived a full 5 minutes after my wife's drink, and to my dismay, it was covered in cinnamon for reasons unbeknownst to me. Served in an undersized mason jar, the frappe failed to deliver on its promise of chocolate, as the overwhelming taste of cinnamon masked any semblance of chocolate flavour. Additionally, the frappe was not adequately chilled, prompting us to order water to wash down the disappointment. When our meals finally arrived, my initial excitement was quickly extinguished. The presentation of both the steak sandwich and the smashed burger left much to be desired. It was evident from the outset that my steak sandwich was cold, lacking the warmth and juiciness one would expect from a quality dish. The tomato slices were overly ripe, resulting in a soggy mess that detracted from the overall dining experience. The sandwich itself was a cacophony of unbalanced flavours, with stale toast on top and soggy, flattened bread on the bottom. The absence of fried onions, a crucial component of a steak sandwich, only added insult to injury. As I observed the backlog of orders, it became apparent that the kitchen was struggling to keep up. Despite the seemingly adequate staffing levels, the quality of the food suffered as a result. It's disheartening to see a once highly regarded establishment falter under the weight of its own reputation. It's evident that management has allowed complacency to set in, neglecting the quality of their products in favour of quantity. Moreover, the exorbitant price of the steak sandwich, priced at $24, was a stark contrast to the quality of the dish. Comparable taverns offer similar items for prices ranging from $14 to $18, making The Belvedere Hotel's offering significantly overpriced and unjustifiable. In retrospect, I wish I had heeded the warnings of the numerous negative reviews that plague this establishment. It's clear that management has no intention of rectifying the issues plaguing The Belvedere Hotel. Perhaps when the crowds dissipate, they will realise the error of their ways and take the necessary steps to improve. Until then, I have no intention of returning to The Belvedere Hotel. Save your time, money and support a local Tavern and not a over rated disaster.

Stopped here for lunch was hopeful of a nice lunch here but Looks like a nice location with a view even though it was grey and rainy found park parking out the front but service was non-existent coffee was made and served cold with no sugar in. It came out five minutes after we ordered our mail consisted of the lobster & prawn pasta dishes times two which were very bland no flavour & lobster & prawns tasted dirty what there was in the dish that is and mine was cold at arrival to the table Very average steak sandwich and chips and also ordered the fried chicken burger. So what class is Food and dressed up facility with a facelift? I’d be concentrating more on the food especially for the prices to $64 that were not acceptable table service and it seem like the people that were sitting at the tables were mostly drinking not eatinganything while we were there overall and overrated pub with prices that don’t match the quality of the food that you are paying for… Desert was the only meals that was enjoyed for a total of $150 for lunch. No table service the staff were not enthusiastic at all Never again, we had a much better seafood experience at Morgan’s seafood at Scarborough on Good Friday,, not happy

Steak Sandwich $25. Turkish bun not toasted on outside; a skerrick of steak, a pile of half-ok chips. Took a while to get it. Give me a break. Mediocre service at the till. No real lunch specials if you don’t like Lobster Bisque. First and last time. Oh and if you like whiney, too loud Katy Perry-ish music at lunch time blaring down from one of the many overhead speakers, you’ll feel at home otherwise be prepared to seek out a quiet spot. .

Prime spot on the water with a yummy menu. Loved our cocktails. The staff are so friendly, we even had a waitress sit with us for a minute to give us a history lesson on the place and about the new part that's getting done at the moment which I loved. There's a special spot that's dog friendly also and a kids area so we could relax and enjoy a long lunch. We are from Noosa so it was our first time just passing by and this establishment actually inspired us to move to the area so I'm looking forward to this being our new local next year ❤️

Lovely ambiance with a variety of dining experiences in different segments of the same establishment from the front rooms overlooking the bay to the sports bar room with large screen to the more intimate. There is a place for everyone and even your party! The food was grossly proportioned and was well presented and tasty too! I had a reasonably sized group of 8 people who all went home happy.

I love everything about this place! From food and drinks to view, I love personally is the Lobster & shrimp pasta, their Chicken Parmi & of course the drinks from the bar (Riesling & cocktails-I foegot what' the name of it though). The kids loved their milkshake & hot choco as well. My hubby got the Barramundi and it was so soft and tasty.

I like the Belvedere. The food is good, large servings. The wait staff are good. The noise makes it difficult to hear wait staff when they bring food orders to the table. I guess people are trying to filter out background chatter that they also don't hear wait staff when they arrive at table with food. I ordered the lobster pie. I've had it before & it was excellent. This time, it wasn't lobster it was sea scallops with lots of roe. I think that change should have been explained when I ordered it. Unfortunately for me, I had been sick a month ago with bad sea scallops. So it isn't something I can order for a while. I feel sick thinking about scallops for now. Everyone else at my table was happy with their meals. It is a great place to catch up with friends for food & beverages. The bar staff are excellent. Most meals are $30 /$35 They run out of parking around lunchtime on weekends.

I haven't been here in a few years but before I left the area this was always a great spot to come for food, drinks and soak in the atmosphere. I've come back and they have made it even bigger and better! Lots of seating options with different bars holding different vibes for every occasion. Food was great and came out quickly. Lovely and attentive service.

Headed down for our birthday lunch today and came away totally satisfied! We ordered the chicken parmigiana with chips, slaw and pepper sauce - my partner pretty much never eats the salad when we eat out but he had this today and ate it before the rest of the meal! He actually enjoyed it! Not too much dressing and nice and light and fresh. We also ordered the scotch fillet with salad and potato roasted in wagyu beef fat and mushroom sauce of course! - the entire meal was delicious but the potatoes were just amazing and so crispy. Prices are definitely more than they were prior to the latest renovation here but the meals were fantastic and the service was excellent. Special shout out to Vicki who helped us when we arrived and even offered to bring us a heater for our little man in his pram. We didn't have a look around the latest areas today but will be interested to see the other indoor seated areas as the main area was full today and the pavilion area was quite cold with the winds of today here as it's so open. Parking is generally a bit of an issue especially on the weekend so get here early anytime you want to visit. Overall highly recommend if you're after a great meal close to the water.

Had the prawn and lobster pasta and lobster pie. Didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did - so well done. New refurb looks amazing and matches with the vibe being close to the water.

Great renovated venue, managed to get a great spot upstairs within a half hour or so and lots of different areas - balconies or inside out of the heat. Very busy on a nice weekend day but a great destination venue for good views and food. Slightly limited wine selection but more than sufficient for most needs.

Food was fabulous, but felt it was over-priced for a family dinner. It was a Saturday evening so very noisy. We found the bar staff to be more interested in socialising amongst themselves and seemed happy to leave customers waiting until they finished their conversations. Floor staff were friendly and efficient and steaks were cooked to perfection!

First time here since the renovations. Have been a critic of this place so thought I would give it another go to see if it had improved. Ordered the Steak Sandwich that came with chips. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get our meal which I thought was absolutely fine. Well I have to say the food was excellent. Only complaint was I felt the chips were slighty overcooked. I compared them to other people’s offering and mine were definitely overcooked. Steak Sandwich was excellent, steak was very tender, cooked well and of a very good size. Great tasting Bacon as well. Their Burger sauce was slightly peppery which I enjoyed. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will certainly be going back. In short they have improved dramatically and worth trying. The Burgers cost $24 each which is a bit pricey though.

DO NOT RUIN AN EVENT AND WASTE YOUR MONEY Went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The meals were awful and took forever to come out. We also waited 20 mins for 2 drinks and 2 jugs of soft drink. Rib eye steak was cold and undercooked The other overcooked and all so dry. The manager then refunded our meals - and the staff Then proceeded to snap my daughters candles and Try to replace them with another number??!?!?!? The staff leave cakes out on benches for extended periods of Time, do not use gloves when handling food and have 5 Staff somehow doing 1 cake and Still Messing it up. The managers response was it was an accident perhaps we Aren’t the place For you. No you’re not and should be reported to The health department for multiple violations, all brought to the managers attention but disregarded.

Celebrated a 60th birthday party here, The staff were very accommodating, friendly and had excellent service. Food was excellent, good spread of choices and very generous with their portions... Would highly recommend for any functions as well as a choice for a morning, afternoon or evening out.

Came here the first time for dinner after the reno, the location is great, nice view, there are lots of parking at the back. No need to reserve a table if you are 6 or under 6 people, there are plenty of tables available, if you want to catch the view and sit at the balcony, may need to come a bit earlier. The restaurant has different sections and sitting areas for you to pick, I really like this idea, there are a lot of big tables for bigger groups. The lounge area upstairs with a bar looks so chill, such a nice place to enjoy a drink with friends. There is also a small kid's playground. I can see a lot of potential to turn those rooms into function rooms. The food was great, we order lobster pizza, lobster pasta, burger and pork knuckle, every meal is about 30 dollar, the knuckle is 39, they are delicious. Order by scanning the ARE code from the table, you can see the full menu with photos on it, don't need to wait for the staff, so convenient. After the dinner, take a walk along the ocean or on the jetty, perfect! I bet the place is busy for weekend brunch! If there are more options on the menu that would be even better!

Booked table for 10.30 am, but upon arrival, we were told that the section wasn't open until 11. That was alright as we sat downstairs for a while. We were taken upstairs in the lift and shown to our table. The view was just lovely. Staff were very accommodating in altering a meal to suit my allergies. Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. It would be nice if the water glasses were larger, so we didn't have to keep getting up to refill them.

Been here twice in the last couple of weeks - so close and has the most amazing view. They don't have a lot of vegetarian options but what they do have is pretty darn good. We went for breakfast first and I had the Japanese Cinnamon Toast with a side of haloumi - WOW amazing - so tasty and I highly recommend - the apple crumble was so good... My partner had the Chilli Scrambled Eggs with a side of haloumi - it was a really good sized meal and very tasty. I also had one of their Chai Lattes with almond milk - really good. Their prices are very reasonable for breakfast - and of course the view is spectacular. I also took my parents here for lunch the other day and I had their mushroom pizza - quite a big size - so could easily be shared - I took half of it home for later. My parents had the Battered Fish - big serving of fish for sure. The chips were amazing too! They loved it! So it really is a fabulous place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Fabulous food and a great view - what more could you ask for...

A great location and lively vibe. Food and bevs are pretty expensive. The kids milkshake was a huge disappointment for my kids, being gone in just a couple of sips, not even filled up past halfway in the small bottle it’s served in. Quite a rip off for a gulp of milk.
