Wow! What a gem, I went to the bended elbow tonight for dinner and was blown away by the taste of the food! I ordered the slow cooked pork and telling the truth it was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten, everything was good and the taste was amazing. The also serve tank beer there and have a great atmosphere and decor. If I could give more stars I would but will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food in Albury ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

We missed their lunch specials that ends at 3pm and ordered from the share menu. We didn’t need to wait long for the food to be served. Large portions, friendly staff, quality food at a reasonable price.

We made a brief lunch stop here on a road trip from Canberra to Melbourne. Love the ambient. Staff were nice & friendly. And the food was great with reasonable price.

We enjoyed the lunch menu, I would recommend visiting especially on a nice, sunny day! The service was friendly, too.

This place stays open MONDAY’S and takes orders until 9pm. Thanks for being friendly and open when you say you will be. Other restaurants closed earlier than they said they would which is poor form. In main cities they wouldn’t last long with this practise. I’m happy we ended up at this cute pub, HIGHLY recommended. 👍👍

This is how pubs should be! Great atmosphere, friendly, and helpful staff and no shortage of them. The food is fantastic, both price and portion. If you need a good reasonably priced feed with a great selection of beers, this is the place to be. Dined here two nights in a row, we loved it that much.

This has been our regular stopover when travelling to Canberra Sydney for many years now. Great food & service & the ambience is great. Only thing to note, we call it a "Parma" from Victoria & they call it a "Parmi".

They did a great job of handling the massive crowds on Boxing Day…putting signs up with wait times and menu items that were sold out. We had some great salads - the Cesar was everything you’d want it to be, the Thai beef wasn’t as traditional but it was tasty, spicy and massive. Friendly service & good prices. Would recommend.

The venue was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately not enough high chairs to accomodate our son which made things a little tricky, but otherwise the food was good and your typical pub food. A broad and varied menu too and reasonably priced.

The food was delicious and affordable. I looked at a few other places in the area, they weren’t as affordable and the menus weren’t as “everyone friendly”. The servings were big, even the kids meals. The parmi was delicious and not greasy or soggy at all & the calamari from the $20 lunch menu was cooked perfectly. The chips were good and the side salad was a good one with creamy dressing. Not just a soggy pile of lettuce. The food came out quick and the decor is nice, we sat in a booth. We will definitely stop at The Bended Elbow again on our travels. Thank you ☺️

The ambiance in the outdoor courtyard was lovely. My wife’s fish was delicious and my Caesar salad with chicken was great although rather light on the salad part

Stopped in here for lunch, Asian Prawn salad and Fish Tacos. The tacos could've had some more coriander and less sauce (my opinion) otherwise both meals were great. The other meals we seen coming out looked awesome too.

Ordered special bangers and mash and grilled barramundi. Bangers $ mash really good. Barramundi served absolutely smothered with aioli, including the fresh salad. The aioli completely hijacked the flavours of the dish.

On a Sunday night for dinner this place was perfect. Friendly staff, reasonable prices in the middle of town. The pork ribs were amazing and for me the perfect sized serving. Suggest booking for dinner to ensure to don't miss out. Definitely be back.

Nice pub food. The popcorn chicken was crispy and large and came with a nice chilli-mayo sauce The wrap was fine. It was well made and the chicken was crispy. The pumpkin salad wasn’t great. The elements of the dish didn’t work too well and it was a bit too salty. The pasta was fine.

I had a pretty good chicken schnitzel and it was quite reasonably priced for 2024. Good selection of taps for a drink, nice and clean with a nice chilled atmosphere. Very difficult finding anywhere nearby to park though.

Have lunch here on a regular basis. I have tried the lunch parmy, ceaser salad and fish and chips which were all really good. Didn't particularly like the beef Pattie burger though.

Had dinner in the roof top beer garden and it was a great area, very clean and warm for winter, great atmosphere, good staff but the food was terrible unfortunately, chicken wasn’t crispy and didn’t even taste like it was chicken it was very plain, the drinks were ok could be better but not as bad as the food. Great place for drinks

Gorgeous interior. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Steak was perfectly cooked with very nice steakhouse chips and the best house salad I’ve ever eaten. My partner and I cleaned both our plates. Will definitely be coming back if I find myself in Albury in the future.

From the time we got into this restaurant, everything felt like it was self service. No one greeted nor sat us down. We figured out the self order and payment system via QR code which is quite common these days, but still no one came to confirm that our order had gone through. We had to ask them just to ensure we weren’t waiting in vain. It is a Monday night and the restaurant is hardly busy. Needless to say, we left after our meal without anyone acknowledging. They might as well use a robot to serve us if they wished to be this impersonal. Food is so-so. My husband drove over to MacD after.

Fabulous food and the rooftop bar is lovely. Entree salt and pepper squid was cooked to perfection but was lacking enough seasoning for my liking. Hubby had Guinness pie floater with mushy peas and gravy. He loved it. I had Barra with garlic butter and salad with fries Barra was awesome as well as the salad. Jug of long island ice tea was yummy, hubby had a Guinness Highly recommend this place if you are stopping overnight in Albury.

Date/time of visit: 20 May 2022 @ 8:50pm (approx) We stepped here after a 3.5 hour drive from Canberra, with another 3.5 hours to go returning to Melbourne. We had eaten at The Bended Elbow on several occasions over the years and was always satisfied with the meals. This visit was no different: the porterhouse steak was cooked well, with great char. The chips weren't super crispy but were still very good. The salad that was served with the steak was refreshing with a flavourful dressing. The Thai beef salad had amazing flavour - this was great. Venue wasn't busy at this hour and we had arrived just as the live music was finishing up. I've always experienced The Bended Elbow as a great rest stop travelling ti/from Canberra. It shoukd also be experienced as venue when visiting Albury or living in Albury.

A quick impromptu lunch on the way from Sydney to Melbourne! We had the cauliflower bhaji, salt n pepper calamari and a mini chicken parma. Decent and average was the general comment round the table! Pub is centrally located and is nicely presented! Service was ok and transactional!

Amazing service. Although very busy, a server noticed we were needing a table so she assisted us straight away. Cleared and cleaned table promptly, gave us suggestions on food menu and was overall lovely and friendly. Thanks Claudia for your happy hospitality. Food was delicious. A must visit if you're in Albury
