Went there for lunch with girlfriends. The staff were friendly, the place wasn’t too busy so we could chat without yelling. The food was very good. We were very happy with having chosen Boaty’s for our catch up.

Went for karaoke on Wednesday and if you’re over 25 don’t bother turning up, you will be completely ignored by the “host” who prounces around and chooses who she thinks fits the mould. Walked past, looked straight in the eye and just kept going. I have never felt so isolated by a venue because I’m 55. I will never visit this venue again and would encourage anyone over 25 to avoid Boatys. So completely disrespectful.

We had a great meal just a couple of hours ago, so tasty, I'm really impressed and surprised! All vegan options were on point! We'll definitely be coming again soon.

This place is great, has lovely staff, is very welcoming, and has activities lined up most nights like Karaoke, trivia quiz, silent disco, Bingo, and Bongo water pong (Mon-Fri) Breakfast is served from 7.30 till 11 am and lunch is served from 12 pm to 9 pm 7 days a week, varied options on both menus, tea/ coffee served from 7.30 till 2 pm, happy hour, times vary, come along you won't be disappointed, highly recommend, I love it here.

They didn't have any lactose free milk for coffee. This is the fastest growing milk needs. Weren't very busy but took quite a while to get coffee. Nice location.

The place is decent fun but unfortunately the girl who works who gets on for the mic is probably the worst fun I’ve ever seen, completely lacked a bit of common sense to what was going on in terms of who was on next and unnecessarily rude, always been a fan of karaoke and this is as the worst service I’ve ever seen. But the drinks bar is as good and everything is else was decent fun.

The atmosphere is pretty good but I definitely wouldn’t come by again for food. Bought dinner for my family and my mother’s pizza came out completely burned and hard as a rock. We mentioned this to a staff member and told them she couldn’t eat it. The staff member didn’t apologise or offer a refund/something else to eat. Instead they just took it off our table and walked off without saying anything. A real shame because it seemed like a nice place otherwise.

Only food worth having is the wings. Everything else I tried was overpriced and boring. Drinks are more expensive than other venues. The ribs were dry and a tiny portion. The smashed avo was too vinegary and the eggs were over cooked. Please also note that they don't list all the ingredients on the menu so it's best to ask if you have any allergies or preferences.

My husband (a muso) and I headed to Boatys tonight to participate in their karaoke night.
Not only was it advertised to commence at 8pm (and hadn’t started by 8.45pm when we left) but they completely ignored us when working the room to get names on their clipboard for karaoke.
Seems we were the only ones in the room over 30 (we are 55) so were intentionally neglected.
Overpriced drinks, ageist service and false advertising re start times.
Do not recommend.

Made our booking online a couple of days prior. When we arrived, they did not have our booking. But we’re super quick to make some changes to fit us in. Which we thought was great. Food was good. Not really a family venue. Great for older kids but not ideal for younger family. More of a club vibe than a restaurant. Bouncers standing at entrance smoking and we were seated with two small kids right beside them. Not a good look or smell while you’re trying to eat.

Lucia was absolutely incredible, she is provides an awesome atmosphere and makes the drinks with love! This place is just a great place overall

I was ashamed and embarrassed by this venue. I arrived and had one drink. This venue decided after me being there for one hour with one drink that I needed to drink water. I gracefully took this glass of water and drank it over 15 minutes whilst sitting at the tabel.Then I was approached by a security guard who said no matter how much water I drink that I will be refused service.I was there 2 other customers who(this decision) cut short their night.This is rediculous and should not be allowed by venues in this area when patrons are only trying to have a good time

It was a wonderful end to an exciting day. Wandered all day and had fun in the beautiful airlie beach. Best spot to relax your muscles and enjoy a crisp cold drink. The singer was wonderful and the vibe was all the more better. Had a great night here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Boatys Airlie Beach, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Honestly the worst steak I've ever had. The meal was cold, the steak undercooked and the gravy tasted horrible as well. Two stars because the place is rather nice and bartenders are cool.

Good value especially for the area, $16 for a meal plus drink of choice. Quality of food was good and generous portions.

Food is "cheap" in taste but not good value, they have deals on, but there are that many terms and conditions to the Deals that you best not to bother, it's a pub next to a hostel sums it up, take the time to look elsewhere.
Drinks are very expensive for what's targeted as a hostel bar.
Music was too loud to the point you couldn't talk across the table.
Don't try to save money here, do yourself a favour and go to any other spot in Airlie Beach .

Fish and chips lunch was excellent. Lacks any atmosphere during the day, but I'm sure it pick up later in the afternoon. Food menu is limited but seems like reasonable options and a good selection of drinks.

Family evening night out. Security being employed by managment and or owners. Security being directed by managment and owners. Come nine o’clock getting evicted as we finished our meal. An utter disgrace to the owners and management not to have protocols and procedures in place. If you don’t want children in your venue you should make families aware. So offended.

Boaty’s is a delightful find in the heart of Airlie Beach. The staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The drinks menu offers great value deals, and the food is amazing. Don’t miss their famous parma—it’s one of the best I've had in Australia!

Boaty's does it again, tho limited, pretty good food and 7 buck schooners during a two hour happy hour is much appreciated
Makes a lot of the flashy places look not only expensive but lacking in quality too
Well done in keeping myself and plenty of friends still interested in going out for beers and a good bite to eat

Absolutely outstanding food! Also had Christmas lunch here. Best ever. Special thanks to bar and food teams especially pretty girl with many tats. Live music was also fab.

2 security guards are complete losers and really need to learn the word RESPECT for other people. The think the are cool if the are in a golf car with the 2 of then but the are definitely not complete losers the are I advice. You to never go there!
