What a stunning hotel! The food is so good! 10/10 had the Barramundi , beef ragu pasta, chicken & veg, & chicken mango salad are my favourites so far 😊

We were travelling with a small dog, they graciously welcomed us and gave him a bowl of water. We then had the best meal we have had on our whole travels, I am a Chef so not easily pleased, I was very pleased, highly recommend

We had Jess as our server. She did a spectacular job. She noticed that some of our party hadn’t gotten their meals due to self sabotage, and she rectified the problem quickly and efficiently. Very impressed. She also brought the kids packs to keep the kids entertained. She was also very personable and pleasant. Good job Jess!

Was very disappointed in the finger food for a party. It was brought out slowly and it certainly seemed like it was not the amount that was payed for. The room was amazing and the head staff were great.

The staff were really welcoming to us and my 2 dogs, Buddy & Teddy.
We sat in the beer garden, which was a good atmosphere.
The service was really good, the steaks were excellent.
A definite yes to go back, when we're in Bendigo.

Staff did not tell us there was an extended wait on the food. We ended up waiting an hour for our meal, however the staff were very friendly once they started to serve us. The chips are a bit dry but overall the food was delicious.

Scotch fillet steak was overpriced and very tough. Generally food quality was not good.

really nice place, staff were lovely, food came out hot and fresh within 20 mins of placing the order :) i ordered the pasta calabrese, asked for a couple of changes and they got them all right! partner ordered chicken parma and said his was good too. main was a nice portion size that we left feeling full and satisfied but not overly stuffed with just the one meal :)

Really lovely staff, we came for lunch and had a wonderful time, really relaxing. Great to see this place fulfil its potential finally. Would recommend and will be back

Pub Meals were received at staggered 30-50 min waits amongst all patrons, were average to worse for taste and a bit pricey. Some of my sons requested medium cooked steak was next to raw (see pic)... unacceptable, will not be back.

Ordered the Parma chips and veg with gravy and fish and chips with veggies. They have different sauces available over to the side and orders are done via the QR code online or over at the bar which is simple to place orders and make required adjustments if needed.

One of the nicest fish and chips I’ve had. Pizza was also good by all accounts. Great atmosphere and nice to have as our ‘local’!

Mothers day lunch! Cute hotel, well spread out. Ordered a Texan Parma, Seafood basket and Boss Burger. All pictured the seafood basket was well presented and reasonable size for the price, the burger and parma were both ordered by men and fell well short of sufficient. Everything was cooked well just very minimal not great value for money. Can't say I would rush back for a meal but overall it is a nice space to kick back for a couple of beverages.

Many, many thanks to Matt, the Chef and Team at the Botanical Hotel, for your friendly service, the most flavoursome food, fabulous gin and cocktail selections and creations and relaxing atmosphere, making our 10 day stay in White Hills a perfect one!
I can recommend the pork belly bites, barramundi, Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz G&T, or a Frosty Fruit cocktail and sitting in the beer garden for a relaxed atmosphere. It was wonderful either attending the Botanical Hotel for dinner or 4 o'clock sippers - ha, ha, ha. Excellent service, delicious food, great gin and cocktail product knowledge and a spotless venue. Competitive prices for top quality food and drinks! Will definitely be back! Thanks again.

Love this place! What an amazing meal! Pet friendly area, order from the table, friendly staff, I've cold beers and the food was great! We both had Coconut Prawns, crispy fried and followed with desserts of Botooki and Sticky Date Pudding. Highly recommend!

Kids meal was tiny , dry and over cooked.
Adult Parma was small, dry and only worm in the middle very poor and over priced

I met a friend for lunch here today. One had an entree of coconut crumbed prawns, which would have been bought in. They were skinny with hardly any prawn inside and cone shaped. We both ordered the seafood platter, and apart from the Fresh calamari, which was delicious, it was obvious that the fish had been Frozen as were the flat crumbed prawn cutlets.
How much effort does it take to get green prawns and serve healthy and good food, especially when the dish was $31 each.
Won't be going back, that's for sure.

Dine here regularly, about once a month. Food is good and reasonably priced. A good variety of beers on tap. Staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. Have been here once or twice without booking and staff have gone out of their way to fit us in. The Botanical has a fantastic atmosphere, and a place where you can dine without loud music playing, so you can actually talk with your fellow diners. The premises are always spotlessly clean and well presented.

A very welcoming venue, with friendly and efficient staff, a diverse and high-quality menu. It seems to be a popular place for parties.
I particularly like the Southern Fried Burger - notably crisp and flavoursome.

At the Botanical Hotel 555 Napier St Bendigo we were met at the entrance to the indoor dining space by a welcoming quick witted comedic hostess. We were swiftly seated at table 37 directly in front of the gas burning log fire which was toasty warm on this cold winters night. The two meals we ordered from the extensive menu were Calamari with salad and a Supreme pizza along with drinks. Both meals arrived promptly and at the same time. We were both impressed with meals and quality of them. Well done to the attentive and professional staff. We will return.

Amazing venue, awesome atmosphere and staff, kids packs handed out at reception so kids were entertained from the start, awesome tap beer selection and bar layout, but I thought the food was a little average not a parmas I would boast about or go back for and considering the "kids parma"is just a little smaller and $4 less I would've expected the "full parma" to be a little bigger, fantastic salad and gravy, and the desserts were absolutely amazing

A little disappointing, bistro style. The food was alright, service was lacking but maybe it's due to staff shortages. I'll put it to an off day.
