What a delight. Great atmosphere on the deck and portion of food is well worth the cost. Food was tasty and fresh.

Went there with my wife on Thursday, 09 May 2024 and we ordered a pizza and a coffee on our way to Melbourne. Always admired the location of this place, so we chose to sit outside at table ##.The table was dirty, so we gave it a wipe down with our own wipes. The coffee was great and the staff were fantastic. The pizza was obviously made with ingredients from cans, particularly the champignons and tomato salsa on the base, with ham instead of traditional salami topping. We'll definitely go back and try a different meal order😎.

Went on a public holiday, so had to pay more, which was expected, but my meal was average, could tell it was pre-prepared much earlier possibly the day before as my mango wasn't fresh, my drink order was wrong, despite the waitress repeating it back to me & the waitstaff were just apathetic, which isn't a great feeling as a customer. No eye contact & just no care if I enjoyed my meal or not. The service wasn't awful, just not great, my friends meal, the risotto was great 👍🏻

We had a private event on 08.12.23, and I was impressed with everything. The food was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Pork Belly entree (very generous serving) and roast lamb (meat perfectly cooked) and again a generous serving was delicious. I couldn't stay for dessert but I'm sure no doubt was lovely. The staff were super professional and attentive, well done!!

Today four of us went to lunch at The Bridge Hotel at Mordialloc. The setting was magnificent, as we were outside on the deck overlooking the little harbour and the sunny weather all helped the ambiance. Unfortunately there was an issue with our food order, however the manager, Chloe stepped right in explained the issue and how she proposed to fix it. She handled it magnificently and left us in no doubt she was on top of the problem and her customers were going to leave with a pleasant experience. And we did, great food, fabulous setting and brilliant staff … a great lunch! We will be back!

This was always our favorite place for a regular catch up. For some years a girlfriend and I enjoyed the great food, drinks, service and ambiance of the lovely venue. After returning for the first time post covid we were both extremely disappointed to find that the food and drinks are grossly overpriced and the staff are no longer the same vibrant bubbly people that we were always greeted by on arrival! If you are going to charge $34 for a pizza, that I am positive has shrunk in size, at least be generous with the topping!

This pub was in a great location right on the canal with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Our server Hayden in the Bistro was prompt, helpful and hilarious. Food portions were quite large and good value for money. Will definitely be back!

The good: the main courses were quite nice. Calamari, noodle salad and arancini. The rest: After clearing our main course plates we didn't see another staff member without having to go and find them. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy and there were plenty of staff wandering backwards and forwards. Three different staff members came to the table to clear mains, take dessert orders and deliver dessert, all while our glasses were empty. Not one of them asked if we wanted a drink, or asked how our meal was going. The 25 minute wait for 4 cakes from the fridge was the most annoying thing as we also had to chase up staff to receive them. It wasn't worth the wait as they all seemed dry and a bit stale. I would have passed all of this on at the restaurant, but no one asked or seemed to care about the customer experience they were providing. They found our table 15 seconds after we stood up to pay the bill though, so at least it's not invisible. A pretty disappointing experience for the money spent.

The food and the venue are five stars but the service was very disappointing. Especially when it was a public holiday being charged a 15% surcharge for non existent service. Having to ask for the table to be cleared and when we wanted drinks and coffee was the only downside. The food was delicious but the floor staff could have been a bit better but were friendly. Wasn't that busy so it can't be the reason. All in all a good time with family at a wonderful venue.

The deck is quite nice, but the food is average and way overpriced. My goats cheese ravioli was tasty but at $40 I would have expected more that what was no better than a 5 minute packet pasta from the supermarket, with some of the pieces stuck together and hard. My husband’s fish and chips was extremely disappointing (albeit good flathead tails) but the batter and salad were under par, all at the bargain price of $45.

Staff were lovely and very attentive, great location but the food was simply overpriced. Had the flathead tails at $45 . The few I received were nice (but on the cool side) along with half a plate of chips and some pre- washed salad leaves with a wave of dressing.

Sat on the deck for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Was great. Meals were lovely but just a bit exy for the usual pub fare. Always a good meal, better value in the Sportsbar I think tho...

Our family were visiting from Ireland and we had a most wonderful catch up at Doyle's. The food was great as was the service we received. It was a memorable afternoon for us all.

On arrival meet by friendly staff only too happy to show you your table and explain the specials menu. Prompt service from Jeff and Rocky who looked after all our needs. Nice views from decking area. Meals were served quickly and were delicious.

Not a good experience! We dined in The Terrace. The place was full and very, very noisy, to the point you could hardly hear the person next to you. Service was friendly but very poor...waiters did not keep track of who had ordered what. Food was ok but nothing special, overpriced for the quality. The wait for drink table service was way too long and it was quicker to walk up to the counter and order it. Access to the toilets became shocking during the night, with toilet paper all over the flight of stairs and even at the top in the entrance to the restaurant area. We were are group of 22, and they allowed for split bills which we thought was great but became a complete mess when paying as each person had to tell them every individual item they had ordered, including each drink. The staff then had to scroll through every individual item our group of 22 had ordered and allocate that persons payment to each one. First and last visit for us. Appreciate the detailed reply to my review. Hopefully they act on the areas of concern and become a great venue.

Loved our lunch here on Saturday. All of the staff running our table were welcoming and lovely - especially for bringing out a little colouring book for the toddler of the table. Small gesture, but it was so appreciated. Food was great! I got the Parma and it was refreshing to see a substantial side salad, with chunky feta and seasoned well. Beautiful location overlooking the river.

I’ve been to the Bridge for many different occasions - beers with mates in public bar, Fathers Day lunch, dinner with family, birthday parties - and on every occasion we are met with friendly service, fabulous food quality and choice, ice cold beer and a wide variety of choice of areas to sit. Public Bar - well laid out and light. Good sized bar and well managed. Bistro - perfect for a larger table and a good winter lunch. Cafe (indoor/outdoor terrace) - sensational location for a sunny day, watching the boats and taking in the sea air. Also brilliant cocktail list! Congrats to the management team for bringing this wonderful location back to life!

I recently went to the bridge hotel for some food and a drink in the bistro area. My brother and I ordered two beers and a bowl of chips. They had no prices on the menu so we didn’t think anything of it. When the bill cane out it was $50. Each pint of beer (asahi) was $19.50. For a single beer. That is by far the most expensive pint I have ever come across. That amount is outrageous and if they genuinely think they can charge that amount, the least they can do is warn people. If we knew how much the beer was going to cost we would have never bought it. That is genuinely an unnecessary and obnoxious amount for a single beer. Very much still in shock. I hope you’re ashamed of yourselves, there’s no need to charge that amount.

I came in with a group of 9 for lunch yesterday (Sunday). Ordered a pine nut risotto - vegan option (no cheese) - I triple checked that the waiter wrote it down correctly, but it still came out with cheese. I can't eat it, so it went back to the kitchen, and I awkwardly waited while everyone else was eating, and then I was served a risotto with roasted vegetables instead. I ate a few mouthfuls before I realised this wasn't even what I ordered. The manager (I think?) saw and suggested that I can pay the cheaper price out of the risotto and the roasted vegetable fettucini (as my dish was a blend of the two). I ended up paying $33 for a bland dish I didn't order and only ate half of. I wasn't even going to write this review, but I will because I think feedback is important, and I woke up this morning and I'm just kind of annoyed. I was really looking forward to this meal yesterday, and I don't have $33 to just throw away. I wouldn't have even mentioned it if the substitute dish was awesome, but it was dull and bland. It's not hard to make great vegan food these days, which I think should be on all menus as an option – especially somewhere like Mordialloc. And no I really don't want to phone the manager and speak to him about this experience again. I'm just gonna chalk it up to a crappy experience and take it as lesson for me to speak up a bit louder when I'm there. We all make mistakes and that's ok, life goes on, but this is just my honest review.

Great location for dinner but a noisy dining room . Good woodfired piźza but needs true experienced italian pizza chef to create better quality . Polite service but lacking training and finese of true service .Heavy handed when putting things on the table even just dumping the glasses and water jug down

First time visit waited at the bar to order drinks for quite some time before leaving. The bar man was flirting & serving to young girls he seen to know then was too busy telling a regular customer a story about a car accident that day on the bridge, didn't even acknowledge my presence. I did mention to bottle shop staff on my way out that he might want to let bar man know that l left due to not being acknowledged or served at the bar, bottle shop staff were very apologetic, poor service at in side bar great service in bottle shop

Fabulous day there with a large group of friends indoors. Views lovely, prices standard for 2023. There was plenty of space around our very long table that sat 20 people well, The staff were very pleasant. We were in the room closest to the river this day and not the Bistro area. Ladies toilets are down a lot of stairs, this may bother some people. Overall, it was a very nice experience. The food was enjoyable for most of us as well.

Considering it's Sunday with only a few table customers, the service is pretty slow. We were at the Beer Garden bit where dogs are allowed. Food was great and the drink list was alright for a pub.

Been to the restaurant quite a few times, good view when dining outside in a sunny winter day. The waitstaff exude a level of professionalism that enhances the dining experience. The culinary creations showcase the chef's mastery. Each dish is a symphony of flavors, carefully crafted and executed to perfection. From succulent seafood to tender meats, the chef knows how to coax out the true essence of each ingredient.
