What a lovely pub and definitely up there in terms of pub grub. We had the fish and chips and chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was juicy and moist but perfectly crumbled and crispy on the outside. The fish was soft and delicate, just the way it should be, with a light (just right, not too heavy) batter. So well done. Big portions too. Oh and the service? Just as good as the food! The staff were nice, friendly, and accommodating. It's a pub we've driven by multiple times and we're so glad we drove in this time.

What a diamond! Love this place. From the staff, to the food, to the ambience, it’s just welcoming from the moment you walk in.
Footy. Food. Entertainment. What’s not to love?

Went to the “hotel” after a race day and couldn’t hear the staff or my family. The music was so so loud. The security guards out the front were on the radio to the manager who ignored the request to turn it down. What a joke. To walk into a family hotel with a booking saying we don’t take bookings on race day. You are kidding yourself! Good luck!

Well this place is a hidden gem. It was formerly a “Hooters” and I can tell you the food and service is a lot better!!
Great tasting pizza, snitzel and other food. A must visit!!

We had our staff Xmas drinks on Wednesday- great atmosphere, food was great and the staff amazing. Thanks for making it a great night.

Visited on Mother's Day what a wonderful experience. The staff was so friendly. The food was awesome. Loved the atmosphere.

This is a very tidy hotel that has a bit of a pub vibe, but also a nice bar area and good cocktail menu. They have some low alcohol and non-alcoholic jugs too. There's a massive TV screen in the main dining area for sports and whatnot. There is another screen in the Sports Bar area with lots more seating too. It would be a great place to watch sport with some mates. The food was ok, but nothing special. I thought my burger sounded much better on paper than it was in reality. The patty was a tough and the pork belly was just a thick slab of fat on the bun. I probably wouldn't come back for food, but it's a good vibe inside and seems like a fun place to have a drink.

The service was great and garlic cheese and ribs were tasty however the steak was requested medium rare and was rare, would've been 5 stars if not for the steak.

The kids love the place. We come here almost every Friday after taekwondo class. They have a very nice menu. Burger, pizza, Spaghetti, Korean fried chicken, Pork Ribs, squid ink spaghetti. Kids love it because the kids menu come with ice cream too. It's a home made ice cream but it's yummy according to the children. it's very neat and tidy. They also have plenty of car space. The staffs are very friendly too. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

The food was good but I was absolutely shocked to discover the bar staff outright refuse to make any sort of classic cocktails - they are apparently only able to charge you for the 8 or so cocktails on their drink menu. I asked for a margarita and they would not make it for me and instead offered me a drink with tequila, Alize and cucumber as an alternative. I really think you need to change this, it's really not on for a place with a bar to not be able to serve classic drinks. Could you not have charged me for another cocktail but instead made me the drink I asked for? Unless of course your bar staff do not know how to make classic cocktails, in which case proper bar training should be required or perhaps you should hire bar staff more knowledgeable in making drinks. I didn't ask for anything crazy here. The kicker is the staff gave me attitude when I insisted I had had a margarita last time I came. She even asked the girl working with her who agreed no, they couldn't make it and then also the bar manager when I pressed further. To be honest, I liked this place but will not be returning due to this poor experience which is very disappointing.

Solid food options that you would expect from a pub bistro. The steak was a touch closer to medium when I asked for a medium rare but it was still good. Bernaise sauce was good. And the mashed potato was buttery and aromatic. The star of the dish. And the broccolini was good. Service was pleasant and prompt. Would recommend! Loved the big screen showing live sport.

Nice place, good set up with lots of seating. Ordered the steak $30. Not bad.
Tried a couple of cocktails, not a bad selection to choose from.

I'm done gatekeeping this place.
It has parking. It's got generous opening hours. The furnishings are all new. It used to be a Hooters, they've completely turned it around, it is light and airy and got plenty of seating.
Most importantly the staff are attentive and the food is classic Australian pub food in generous portion sizes. They have daily specials, hard solo/rated on tap and an amazing steak and lovely roast dinner for Sundays.
I really do think this place reinvents the humble Australian pub into a pub for a new era. I hope it will be around for years to come.

Good place to visit. Children friendly. Loved thier food & it was so delicious. Only issue was we had wait for about 15mins for food. Staff was friendly. Definitely recommending

Friendly staff and great pub food with easy access.
We visited on a weeknight keen to try the menu. The staff were attentive and helpful for both kitchen and bar.
Menu selection was expansive and generous. Our bill came to $100 for four meals and a shared entree. We were all satisfied with our portions and enjoyed the meal and atmosphere.
The drink selection in the bar was also good with a decent range of tap beers and spirits available.
Good place to come with friends with very easy parking available downstairs.
Will be back.

First visit but won't be the last. Great bistro with huge servings and great prices. Great reception from every single staff member, they couldn't have made our visit any better. Excellent range of drinks at the bar as well.

Fantastic dinner and cocktails. I enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal of Mediterranean Lamb Skewers with a delectable Camilla Signature Water Lily cocktail. Every part of the meal was fantastic.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. Wolf definitely suggest anyone staying at the Mercure flags the hotel restaurant and comes to Camilla. You actually get served here and the meals are far superior at better prices. I'll be making the same suggestion on the Mercure's review page.

Clean, tidy, well presented venue and the restaurant/ bar staff were very friendly.
Food was nice run of the mill pub food, but priced accordingly.
Great spot to have a meal with a group or the family as there was plenty of large group tables and booths available.
Visited twice during a 3 night stay in the area.

Came in the pokies section for Origin Served by Alyssa ! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, so lovely !! Very patient best hospitality ive witnessed in a while definitely recommending The Camellia Hotel 🙌 👌🏾 💗

Came here for a late lunch on a Saturday around 2pm.
It wasn't busy so we're able to get seat, service and food quickly.
Ordered the lamb skewers, margarita pizza, fish and chips and the chicken parmigiana which were all decent, large amount of food and reasonably priced.
Overall good place to have a meal and beer.

Been here a couple of times now. They have done a great job. Nice a spacious with good music playing
Tried the bistro tonight and the food is great too. Generous serving size with the Schnitzel with perfect taste and not dried out like alot tend to be at that size :)
The staff are great too, friendly and remember their customers.

Awesome "My Superman" parma on their Wednesday Schnitlze Mania night $21 with king prawns and onion rings on top. Nice atmosphere, comfortable seatng,$10 pints. Doesnt get better..

Always great food and service. They recently changed their menu, and while it's still amazing they ran a little late with one of our dishes. It was the first time we'd ever experienced getting food late with them. But the manager, Andrew, personally apologised and offered us free drinks for compensation. It was understandable considering they're still adjusting, but their service still went above, which we appreciated.

After 3 visits and having received consistently good quality meals, I can highly recommend this venue.
Excellent value as well.
Today the Scotch fillet steak was a solid 5 stars.
Great work and thanks to the friendly staff.

Absolutely love this place. I've been here three times already, such a great place for catching up with friends. Big portion food (chicken parma is my favourite so far), friendly staff and easy parking.
