Went in around 9.15pm got told last drinks already called for a Friday?? Was going to play some pool have some drinks and bring friends but no...and last time I called in for a drink had to wait 20mins for one then they served someone for pool table money while I had been waiting. Hope someone else has better luck!!

Went here for dinner last night and got the daily special, $20 Chicken Parmy. When we arrived, I noticed there was only 2 workers in the place and it took a minute to talk to them, i explained we had a reservation (I put on the reservation that it was my partners birthday) and she just told us to sit anywhere. That’s not a problem so we did, but the whole time we were there, no one came about the birthday, I was told he would get a free drink. No biggie, the food came out and it was delicious! 10/10 one of my favourite parmys ever, not sure I’d pay $26 for it on a regular day though.
I would definitely come here more often for their daily specials as they have some amazing ones and the food is spectacular, I’m thinking we just got a slow night so the girls didn’t think to check our reservation details. Great place to have a drink, play some pool and enjoy some food.

Very warm environment, good people and great beer. Shubh is a very welcoming man and even better bar tender. 100% recommend. Place is amazing with even better vibes

This place is awesome. The restaurant food is great and priced well. The steak sandwich is recommended. I love coming here to chill and hangout with my mates .
The gaming lounge is great and well equipped with different games . Shubham is great always happy and giving good service.
The $6 schooners are great offer all day and all night.

The chips in this place are unbelievably golden crispy and the chicken parma very well cooked. Crispy outside but juicy inside. Superb!

Sorry but $27 for a gluten free base pizza that was the same size as a kids one is taking the piss....the staff were friendly and atmosphere nice.

Really great service and atmosphere at this pub. Douglas behind the bar was very welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be coming back

Not a bad place but I ordered the beef burger for the Wednesday night special. I have to rate the burger a 1 star at the most, it looked good but the bun was crusty like stale bread, also the meat patty was burnt, dry and tastless. I'm glad it was $15 and not the usual $24 they charge.

Normally pretty good but this one I think they just waved the burger Patty over the heat as it was pretty raw

Lovely food and staff. Beware kids eat free doesn't apply to much of the menu but an absolutely great feed

I’v been to Cavill Hotel few times and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the Venue manager Dexter with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The décor is charming, blending modern style with a cozy, inviting feel.
The drink selection is outstanding. They offer a wide variety of craft beers and unique cocktails. I tried a few cocktails that bartender Tyler recommended and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. He clearly takes pride in his work and it shows in every drink served. Tyler was also very friendly and nice to chat with.
In addition to drinks, the food was also fantastic. The menu offers a good range of options. The chef Steve is talented and each meal I had was amazing!!
Overall, The Cavill Hotel is a fantastic local bar that excels in every aspect. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind with friends after work, celebrate your anniversary, or enjoy a night out with live music. Highly recommended 😊

Had a great night at the Cavill Hotel, food and drinks were awesome. Georgia was incredible. Gaming room was extremely clean and all the staff were friendly. Will definitely be back. Chur Whanu

Great place to be at. The restaurant is fantastic with ample space and really great food at good prices for meals and specials through the week.
The gaming lounge next door keeps you entertained.
There’s couple of pool tables as well to enjoy with your mates.
The staff are fabulous with service. Shoutout to Shubham and Tyler for great service quality.

Food was Delicious, Been here twice but the chef/staff has problems reading orders.
Both times ordered no salad and with gravy.
Food came with salad all over the plate and didn't have any gravy. First time I had to ask for a knife and fork. If the service of the staff improved it would be a great restaurant.
When I said I ordered no salad, I was told, "What do you want me to do, scrape it off?"
Well, unfortunately, yes, I'm not coming back here.

Excellent place! I went more than once and every day I paid Corona just 5 bucks. I was very well served by a very attentive red-haired bartender. If you're into surfers, it's definitely worth visiting the place!

Came here last night with my friend for a drink. The lady that was working was extremely rude and unpleasant. She yelled out to us with a rude tone “girls.. ID’s!!”, so we showed her our ID’s. After that she death stared us everytime she walked past. We ordered a drink each to our table.. waited 30 mins and nothing, so we went to the bar and asked if our drinks were almost ready and we were assured our drinks were being made in that moment. 20 minutes later.. nothing. It was pretty obvious she had told her coworkers to not make our drinks. Had to go up again and luckily one of the male employees was very nice and Helped us right away. Almost an hour just to get a drink when it wasn’t even busy, along with terrible service!

Came for the Monday night mega Parma special on 22/04/2024! Food was piping hot and huge portion, service was great, staff were very friendly and food came quick. Also provided info on the deals they had on which was super helpful. The blonde lady serving was so nice!

Amazing place to be with friends. Reasonable price for the drinks with perfect drinking area. Not to forget the Subham at the counter. He posses excellent customers service skills at the bar. Asset to the hotel.
