Wow. The prices of this pub are so damn cheap! In this economy and with so many people struggling financially it’s such a blessing to have a pub you can eat out at and not break the bank. My family had the lunch meals and there was no complaints at all, such great value. I had the vego burger and it was brilliant.
My grandparents said they might make this place their new local! 2 for $30 meals, schnitty night, weekend burger and schooner deal for $16.50 such good deals.

Wife and I needed cheering up. We picked the right place!! From cheery, friendly barstaff to the Bistro staff and servers..Great steaks fresh garden salads and ice cold drinks. Excellent value for money.

We had a function in the function room last week, Jodie was lovely and very helpful. The staff went above and beyond to help out with dietary needs amongst other things. Food was great and plentiful. We would recommend it to all.

We enjoy the lunch rump,chips and salad. Great value and great pub meal. Staff make this local enjoyable. We have been coming since it opened years ago.

UPDATED REVIEW: if you intend to hold a function here I suggest you call them every day prior to your function to make sure they haven't double booked. We were told four days before our function that we had to either celebrate in the main bar area or change our time. This is simply not acceptable when you booked and confirmed two months prior.
HOW IT USED TO BE:
Perfect venue to hold an event. Staff are friendly and helpful, food delicious and very affordable. Function room has space and privacy required. Highly recommend!

This place is fabulous... different specials every evening with different entertainment...prices very reasonable..food fresh delicious and served on time... The staff are also very friendly...we come here twice a week..and love the place.. thank you Central Tavern...

The staff were very lovely! My family & I came in 20mins before their Kitchen closed & we were treated very well! The meals were amazing & very delicious. I can really appreciate the great customer service! Thanks alot!

Ordered our entree's which was Cheese Garlic Bread and a regular Garlic Bread both were nice, My partner and I ordered the Rump Steak and the kids order the Aussie Burger. Our main meals came out as soon as we had first slice of Garlic Bread, My steak which was supposed to be cooked rare, half was cooked medium and the other side was rare however tasted dried, my partner steak was cooked medium rare. The steaks are just not good quality. Kids loved their burgers though. Chips were nicely cooked. Service was super quick, Staff were friendly.
Update:
We did mentioned to the waitress about main meals coming out too early.

Love this place. Trivia night Tuesdays. So much fun to participate even if you're not terribly knowledgeable. It has a real community spirit.
Meals are really reasonably priced and filling - no little serving size.

It's very disappointing that this place reeks of bad old beer smell. The pub needs a better air-conditioning system to filtrate the air. It was so strong I had to leave before eating a meal, so I could not rate a meal.

Hello sorry had lunch today I had $15 lunch special and my partner had $21.00 flathead. The meal was below average. So much batter. Couldn't even taste the fish such a shame as great pub n staff etc won't be eating there again

Good pub! The food🤤 and service is great in this place. Only gripe is the big screen ,for sports, and multiple flat screens feels like it is all in the restaurant rather than in a separate sports bar. But overall cool pub!

First time customer today and we were so very impressed with the food and service! Quality produce cooked sensationally well. Very large portions - we will definitely be back!

Extremely disappointed with the meal, had a chicken schnitzel and discovered it was raw. Told staff and no compensation for the raw chicken was offered other than a half hearted sorry. Having already eaten some of the chicken before realising now at risk of food poisoning from uncooked food. This was a very disappointing outcome for the situation when served chicken that was not cooked and still visibly pink as seen in the photo

I was not offered a replacement meal or refund. The meal was taken away and only the half hearted sorry was offered

Dropped in on Saturday night for a steak dinner. Service was great and very friendly. The steaks were delicious, well cooked and served quickly. Great entertainment with Karaoke going in the background. It's so nice to have a great local pub, keep it up guys!

Brilliant feed at a great price, the staff were amazing.
Unfortunately for us we had some locals in the eatery area that were unpleasant. May have been a once off.

Booked a table for mothers day, yes today. Got there before 5.00pm. Ordered by 5.45pm. Saw so many uber eats going out the door but no table service. By 6.50pm we had had enough especially with a 16 month old. Also on ordering we were told no burgers, no steak sandwiches, no pasta, no fish - really what do you have. That should have been our trigger. By 6.50pm we then questioned where our meal was and it was still going to be another 20 minutes. Chef was abusive. Bye bye and will never return. Considering we were regular monthly members, we will go elsewhere. If you can't handle the mother's day numbers, don't take bookings and moreso don't take food orders.

Awesome. Went in for lunch Monday, 1.59pm, the chef took our order straight up when lunch finished at 2pm. Food was delicious and staff were friendly, they didn't know my cat was being put down at the vets at the time, but they were so nice just on a Monday. 5x stars.

Amazing $15 lunch special. I had the lasagna and partner had the steak. Both were delicious, chips were awesome too!
We be back again if we are in the area!
