Would love to say that it was an enjoyable night out but can't. We waited at the bar for over 20mins waiting to be served while people around us were served. We were then met by an unpleasant staff member who was not happy to take our drink order. We came for wing night and ordered quite a lot of wings, most if them still had feathers on them which is disgusting. Then when we received our meals my friend complained as there was barely any chips on his and he was told by a staff member that usually you get more on your plate but the chef was in a bad mood. Overall this was very disappointing. Hopefully everyone is in a better mood tomorrow

Went to Central Tavern at Caloundra tonight with my daughter ordered barramundi and vegetables
The Barramundi was not fresh but frozen no taste or seasoned set on a large amount of potato mash with vegetables basically raw.
Very disappointed local won't be coming back.

We have just moved the area and thought we would try the local for a Friday night meal. The food was awful, I ordered the fish special which was not cooked, I sent it back to the kitchen, they recooked the same piece of fish just as badly as the first time, it came back overcooked. Unbelievable they tried to save the fish I was served the first time. The wait staff could not have cared at all that the good was terrible and i couldn't eat it.karaoke and vibe was good but definitely won't be eating from here again.

We had a very nice dinner here .. good selection of food on the menu and served promptly .. staff are very happy to help especially with the grand kids 😀

Very Disappointing
On the 30th March my wife went for the lunch special fish and chips and received the first photo
I attended today and received the second photo with a total of 27 chips
Same price a month later

Very disappointing meal & experience had tonight after being a regular patron for the last year. Not sure if it's a different chef on Saturday nights as we usually eat there Friday's but meals were disgusting & out of the five meals ordered not even two were eatable. When we complained to management she was relatively unhelpful & when she addressed the chef her response was , there's nothing I can do about it! Wow great customer service guys, needless to say we won't be recommending or returning to this establishment again. Very unprofessional.

This is our local tavern. Friendly staff, tasty food and a relaxed atmosphere. There are usually good dinner specials on various nights of the week, but we usually do the steak night on Thursday or the live music and meat trays on a Friday.

The young girl working at the bistro, was absolutely so sweet and helpful! Gave me a great service, everyone there was very nice and I highly recommend coming here!

They have just increased their prices. The meal I was planning on buying has gone up by 26.9%. Didn't go up by $1 or 2. Went up by $7 overnight! Was good while it lasted. The people who keep these businesses going all year are the locals, not tourists who have money to burn once a year.

The staff are amazing!! The atmosphere is nice and accommodates for kids. I totally recommend this place. However if you have any intollerence or allergies to food the current chef is not very accommodating and is very rude.

Such a nice meal 50% of the time
It’s a shame they can’t be consistent to many times I’ve given my money over and been left disappointed . It needs a real face list this pub it’s got a lot of the old belvista vibes about it and that place was horrible to eat at . Maybe a refurb will bring a new feel to the venue and new standards of food

It was nice but there was not enough chips and the sausages where plain the tai beef salad was very good

I tried to message privately so I don’t have to leave negative feedback but got no response in 3 days.
Not a whole lot on the menu for dietary requirements. Ordered a salad without bacon or chicken but had to pay full price…ok copped that one. Then the avocado was inedible so paid $22 for a pretty basic salad which would cost about $2 and take no time to make. Staff don’t seem to really care about much. Obviously management don’t seeing I haven’t had a response from them.

It doesn't matter what I think. The locals sure like it. Quaint and orderly- small in footprint yet large in scope. Entry through many outdoor table and seating arrangements. The L shape bar has both the norm and indi breweries on tap, a drive through completes the square of the alcoholic beverage bunker. A score of poker machines guard an adequate smoking area.
It's kinda strange to score this one - definitely catered for a Bellvista community. That's what I experienced - good folk meeting at the local to unwind and have a yarn. It's chill as - honourable mention to the gabion faceted table supports in the astro-turfed outdoor gazebo area and the ((whatever two men diagonal would be) inch digital screen easily seen from each table in that area. I mean - if I were a (sport thing) fan, I'd definitely enjoy this place over my (average household) set up any day I reckon.
Also, don't read into the star rating thing - just because it's not entirely my thing - doesn't mean it's is the best thing for the person who's thing is the thing to hang out with people in things like this.
Like I said it doesn't matter what I think, you should check it out to then tell us all what you think, not that it matters 🤔

I placed an order at 6.15 pm through uber eats and they made the delivery driver wait over an hour before telling him the order won't be ready before closing and to cancel the order

I’m giving 5 stars for the service as the I think it was the manager with blonde hair was amazing and was very sorry for our food being how it was, the meals were brought out with the chips being completely stale and cold, the ribs were dry and seemed frozen then reheated after cooking, I hate complaining but I had to take my meal back twice, they replaced the meal happily but the cabonara just tasted bland with no garlic. I really suggest getting a new chef as I thought a cabonara would of been very hard to stuff up :( the owner was also extremely lovely and I thank you all for giving us a good night regardless which is why I left feeling like it was a 5 star service from the waiters and owner
My mother hyped up this place a lot and it has a lot of potential if the food was improved 🤍

Great pub with excellent meals, service and atmosphere. The removal of the poker machines was great!! Highly recommend great local pub.

Great feed, staff super friendly, offer great meal deals. My oldest daughter didn't get a kids meal but staff gave her a icecream so she did not miss out. Will be back super impressed.

Best tavern on the coast. Cheapest beers on the coast too. Friendly smiles and great service. Kids eat free on Mondays.

Awesome Tavern, love the Thursday night special, 300gm rump that's $18, had it multiple times now and it's great everytime. Tried lots of other meals and it's really good.

Amazing! The food was delicious and great portions. Had the chicken and bacon pizza for dinner and had enough for lunch the next day. Great price for what you get.

1 star because I can't leave 0. After a waitress saying: "you had to sit at a dirty table, didn't you?", whilst having the choice of either that or a booked table for 20 people while only having 3 in our party. The ribs were boiled, not sticky and glazed as promised, with the vegetables on another dish being hard and uncooked. Meanwhile, the bacon burger with the requested removal of beetroot came late with said beetroot lay on the burger. When requested it be re made, the waitress simply removed the beetroot and handed the burger back. Will not be coming back here again.
