About The Coffs Hotel
Vibrant, Irish-themed pub offering simple rooms & music, plus a drive-thru bottle shop. Set off the Pacific Highway, this lively redbrick pub with rooms is 1 km from the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, 3 km from Coffs Harbour Train Station and 4 km from Big Banana amusement park. The basic, spartan rooms have shared bathrooms, as well as free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Amenities include an bustling Irish pub, a colourful Mexican restaurant, a bistro and a relaxed cafe. There's also an auditorium with regular live music, a liquor store and free parking.

We only had dinner & drinks at the hotel. It was great food, friendly service at the bistro & the bar. The meals & beer were well priced. We all enjoyed ourselves & can't wait to see what the new owners do with the place in coming years to improve it. 😀

Went to the pub for dinner had the slow cooked ribs they were great and served promptly washed it down with a scooner of old top friendly service

Visited this Pub last Saturday night after the Sharks win. Special thanks to Luke Moon who went over & above the call of duty on numerous occasions to make our visit brilliant.
Awesome service, great tucker & a whole lot of fun.

Underwhelming food and atmosphere. Went to the Sunday lunch ordered the lamb cutlets and kids steak burger and nuggets. On the steak burger the buns were burnt, the salad felt two days old and as for the cutlets felt they were reheated from yesterdays nursing home the cutlets were crumbed fried in old fat and the meat was grey. Chips were overcooked and the kids left most of theirs on the plates so it says it all. Super bummed out. Best to avoid.

The new menu is boring and lacks any imagination and no discount meals available. The food was atrocious., plates were dirty. I got the chicken snitzel and the salad was mostly cabbage and there was literally 10 chips on my plate. Also ordered the kids pasta which seemed to be spaghetti with a jar sauce poured over the top., no meat whatsoever in this. Such a shame as the coffs use to be one of the best places to get a good meal.

The food here is fabulous! Well cooked, well flavoured and just the right balance. Well done Guys!!! We had the $10.95 lunch deal which came with a drink. My husband had the steak and I had the fish, with chips and salad (no huge pile of chips to wade through either) Both meals were perfectly cooked and well presented. We have also been here to dinner, and was hugely impressed with the meals. We will go again and definitely take any visitors we have to sample the wares :)

The comedy was great and the bar staff are sweet. Shoutout to the Irish dude who looked like a bowling ball who interrupted our conversation to start his own, only to stop, and insist we all listen "to dis feckin song right now". It actually added to the evening.

Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere, cheap standard ales and ciders - pinball machine and pool table out back. Never gets too rowdy; I've never seen so much as a heated argument on a Fri/Sat night. Great local for any occasion!

Sometimes you’re just craving a good ol’ regular pub feed…and I can say that The Coffs Hotel has got you covered on that front.
As I was looking around the area for a good pub, I was attracted to their decent prices and their reasonable sizes. Sometimes I don’t want to eat 300g worth of chicken, y’know? Their classic schnitzel is 200g of chicken with a proportional side of chips and salad. Their taste? Good, decent, classic.
Their flathead fish itself was a bit on the small side. But their BBQ chicken wings, priced at $1 each, were bigger than expected (a full wing!), and they tasted great too! Fantastic value for money.
Lovely place to drop by for a good meal. Street parking is available.

Probably top 5 Schnitzels I’ve had in my life and the staff were brilliant.
Terrific venue in a great location, however it was a tough nights sleep. Probably wouldn’t recommend staying the night. Very noisy outside and quite warm inside the rooms.

Poor ol pub it's been run into the ground sorely used with no care at all.Its really a disgrace but the young new guy seems ok and they say the rooms have been renovated, I didn't go up to the rooms.oh yeah food was pretty good.its walking distance to most things.

Just had my 21st there, they were so accommodating to my requests and very reasonable in pricing! Strongly recommend for events or just for drinks and dinner. Thank you so much to the lovely staff in all bistro, office and bar! 😁

I went to play the pokies a few times. There weren't many people there, and I never won. It feels like the RTP (Return to Player) is lower compared to other pubs

I had a pizza at this location, and I wouldn't highly rate it. I also stayed in a room at the same location. Sad it didn't have cooling during the day or heating during the night. I woke up freezing at 4 am. And the rooms are too small with no ventilation to stay in during the day ! Consider another location if you require basic amenities. This is more of a backpacker haunt. (just so you know)

Haven't been to hotel for sometime decided to go for dinner (on a Wednesday night) but found there was absolutely no atmosphere not like it used to be. Certainly has changed since new ownership. The bistro area probably have about 7 people in it all up so no problem with seating or service.
The hotel is in a prime location sad to see the custom has waned off so much don't know what Friday and weekends are like now used to be one of the most popular pubs to go for night out.
obviously cost of living has affected many and mid week dining and weekends is out of question for some but suggest locals
(and travellers) come out and support our local pubs (and businesses) otherwise if we lose them they can't be replaced.

Had a wonderful steak chips and salad and a glass of red
$20.95 , my steak was perfect a really lovely lunch , have been coming here a few years , has had a change of management a while ago, we have come a few times in the last month food has been really nice each time.

Great pub food, good smoking area with a good tab area for the punter. Kid's get free drink & icecream.

Great hospitality. Outstanding service. It is a lovely place to enjoy a delicious lunch of Bangers on Mash with a nice glass of ice cold white wine. Thanks for the freshly cooked Burramundi fish, chips and salad.

Food horrible, chicken burger was plain with no flavour, beef burger was not nice but better than chicken burger because the sauce had flavour.
Chips were nice but got a very small amount.Pool table ripped and dirty , no sanitiser in pool area.
Kilkenny beer was beautiful, service was reasonable.
Toilets were filthy / not cleaned, seat filthy, lock missing off the only male cubicle in the outdoors area ,lots of writing/ graffiti on back of doors and dirty also in females.
Staff didn’t look happy.

First of all we stayed here on Saturday night the 6th of July and it was cold, one summer sheet and a very thin comforter on the bed very uncomfortable on top of that no aircon it was freezing you couldn’t sleep also my partner found pubic hair on the sink disgusting pick up your game Coffs hotel, but hey the staff members they showed us the facilities she was very friendly

Excellent food the last few times we've gone in for lunch. Service is super friendly and meals came out in great time even when they were quite full for lunch service! Nicely made drinks also

Called in for a quick meal and had a selection from the Tooheys menu.
$10.95 for a Chicken Patty which came with a pot of beer.
Good meal with salad and chips
A very old style decor with good old fashioned meals.
Also have $6 pints
The person that didn't rate the food should get a life or look at the right menu.
My friends had fish and were happy with it.
Our vegetarian mate had a plate of wedges which were a mountain high

Atrocious. Was charged $50 for a so called "fillet steak" which was nothing more than a minute steak full of grissle. To ad insult, I was given dehydrated potato which was supposed to be mashed potato and charged $5 for a coke zero. Never again. Avoid this place at all costs

Actually a really great pub from a visitors perspective. Everyone had great vibes and there was a really nice atmosphere. People were doing karaoke, there was a DJ playing and the staff were genuinely nice people. Thanks for the good night.
Drinks were reasonably priced and well poured. Before going here, another local club tried to charge me $10 for entry, so I left and went here instead. Great decision.
