Yummy food, great service. A great place to enjoy lunch with family and friends. Oh and the serving sizes were huge!

Wow this place is a cracka. Brilliant pub food at its best. As per the photos we posted the parmi and chicken schnitty was brilliant. My wife had a salad. My son had the chorizo meat lovers pizza which was fancy.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere here rustic brick walls. Outdoor area.
Tamworth represent .... Great place will gladly come back here again if visiting.

Would love to give a review but considering I rang them twice to make a booking to be told we cannot take your call at present - we will get back to you as soon as we retrieve my message WHICH THEY NEVER DID 🤬🤬🤬

Went for a meal. Had my ear drums blown out by some banshee on a microphone doing trivia. Was seated in the sports bar NOWHERE near trivia. Asked to have it's quietened a touch. Did NOTHING. DISCUSSTING SERVICE AND THE ATTITUDES FROM BAR STAFF WAS WORSE.
Couldn't pay me to come back.

We had a beautiful night out for my son’s birthday. Thank you. I really appreciated the effort and attention bringing his cake out after our meals, with candles lit, a knife, plates and cutlery. The Musical Bingo was brilliant and very entertaining. Highly recommend The Courthouse Hotel as a birthday celebration venue. 😊

We ate at the pub - was a great pub meal! We arrived late but the service was very friendly, the food exactly as pub food should be and we left happy. Thanks!

Very disappointing. Having eaten before on previous work trips I was looking forward to a nice dinner. Ordered the chicken schnitzel chips and vegetables. The schnitzel was fine, the chips were served that cold they could have been there since lunch time, the vegetables were extremely over cooked and served lukewarm warm. Not the meal I had hoped. Definitely will be trying other places next time I’m in Tamworth.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Great atmosphere and really cool. Looks like it has been recently renovated.
Plenty of seating both inside and out. The variety of food was great. The prices are reasonable with wait time very small.
Loved the choice of food and good dessert option. I.e. more than just ice cream

The pub itself is very nice and clean and well presented. Didn't eat there, but food looked great - will try next time for sure.
Floor near bar needs a mop as it was sticky.....

the courthouse is a nice pub and central to CBD.
The back outdoor area is great.
Had a family dinner there and it was very nice, we all enjoyed our meals

Terrible customer service. I rang on Thursday and made a booking for Saturday night. I tried to ring all day Friday and Saturday to confirm my booking, no one answered. When they eventually answered the phone at 5:30 (my reservation was for 6pm) the manager on shift answered and told us that the gentleman on Thursday didn’t book us in. When we asked if we could get a reservation at all she had a care factor of 0 for the mishap and told us she was booked out. Because of their mistake and terrible communication between staff my party of 13 people from out of town has no where to go for dinner. If I could rate it a zero I would. She offered a measly $50 dollars to fix her mistake, thanks anyway but how’s that going to feed 13 people.

Nice atmosphere on a chilly day. Staff were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We both had steak for lunch, which was cooked to perfection. A nice place to eat before heading to the airport. Recommend.

Nice atmosphere. Blue steak was closer to medium rare. The corncob in veg was a quarter of the usual half cob. 1cm thick! That's a bit stingy given prices.

Love going to this pub! The staff are really friendly, they will have a conversation with you, have a laugh & be helpful. It's not just like you're a customer, you're like a friend.
The food is fabulous. A good selection including lunch specials for members & membership is free. The meals are generous & if you can't finish it they are more than happy to give you a takeaway container to take any leftovers home.
There is indoor & outdoor seating & also a play area for children if you come as a family. This pub definitely has something for everyone & you wont regret popping in for a drink or a meal.

I've been a chef for 23 years and the food didn't rub me the wrong way , a few things I wasn't able to order due to availability but the meal I ate and the meals my family received were well constructed and balanced .. have and will return

Had lunch here today, the staff member behind the bar that also took my order was a little superstar!!!! Friendly and helpful. Look forward to hearing about the roof over the beer garden being added which she was excited about. Will visit again for sure

Great place to have a quiet Hot Chocolate or a conversation with friends during the work week.
Seating arragement near the main bar is unique, it reminds me of a Business class suite on a domestic Qantas flight. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Down the bottom end of peel St. Older pub done up inside. I have a gluten free diet and was thrilled when I found your menu online.however, when I went to order the gluten free food I had selected they jad removed everything I selected from online menu for the festival I thought I had found a place to eat every night.So so disappointed. The Hawaiian pizza I had was awful and salty . I won't be back at festival time. When venues remove gluten free dishes from menus it is very difficult trying to find a place to eat in Tamworth.Peoplr who are gluten intolerant need places to eat and there are few enough of them in Tamworth without venues making it harder for us at festival time

Delicious and huge servings of food. Super loud DJ on a Tuesday night but you can sit out in the courtyard and it was lovely.

Classic pub atmosphere, good food and beer selection. Only down side is I went to see a live musician but the layout makes it really hard to hear them, the music over the speakers drowned them out. Great to see a venue supporting live music, definitely worth a stop to get a feed

A group of us are making a habit to go to music bingo on Tuesday nights. The meals are lovely and they are amazing with the gluten free options for our celiac friend, even a special deep fryer! Staff are friendly and accommodating, loyalty card gives you 10% off and it's easy to book. There are heaps of different areas and there are meal specials every day, what more can I say!
