This place is not the same anymore, rugs are dirty, pool tables are out of it and the bistro is shut! Heard a lot of long time customers were kicked out of there for no reason as well! This place needs a new manager that could breath live back into it again.

The staff here are so rude and annoying.. There is a person playing on one of the machines that I'm interested in playing. So I'm patiently waiting for that person to finish. The staff always want me to wait In the smoking area. Where l can not tell whether that person is done playing or is still playing. Just annoying..
There is one staff there that's nice and friendly. The others are just rude and annoying!!

The staff are friendly, genuine and always greet you with a smile.They make you feel welcome and they put the customer first.

The Crescent has changed hands and been renovated recently. No food, bistro is closed. It once was my local, I feel it now has no atmosphere. Has poker machines.

The bouncer here is fantastic I left my phone an keycard an some guy took it gave him my phone then I said hang on my keycard he ended up getting from this guy... hats off top guy ladies are really lovely

Rude staff and management is rubbish please refrain from this place and the old security guard is more aggressive than the managers themselves. They're is nothing good about this pub apart from rude staff and management. This why the had to shutdown the bottleshop due not Proper customer care and rubbish services. The competition was to hard for them to compete with a new bottleshop with top nosh customer service across the street. People tend to go with what they believe is better environment and prefer services that benefit them not acting like you are the top in Fairfield where by you need our money to run the pub without customers this will be shut down hence forgetting the principal of customers care and remembering that customers are always right will be ideal for this place to have more patrons. How can you ban a person due to security guard recommendation and without hearing the other side of the story
Wake Up to yourself and management should definitely change even the licensee should go back to school to get the basic principles of hospitality right
I tried to talk the licensee however he ignored me coz he has important Melbourne cup to attend to and he said to me that he won't welcome me back because he believes my money is not important however I believe he is not educated enough to understand how important to attend the guest who are important for him to have the job without customers there is no job. Customers come first buddy wake up to yourselves. Don't be rude to clients and who are potential customers and who will be paying your bills. The public comes first you are not more important than us the general public.
The problem is I am more educated than him and I can run the pub better having a certificate is not having a degree or master's hence it high time we deal with customers better way then Life will be better for you and the venue
Appalling service especially the security guard trying to run the show like he owns the place the licence listen to a worker who they hire and instead of him has his own opinion on things he like a Sheep no direction please people refrain from this hotel

Relaxing vanue with Great food/drink prices & great staff. Ask for big fella(Ray)behide the bar he will look after y,all. Good vibe

Pretty good pub has pool tables, only problem is in the out door smoking area can't hear the tv

Pretty disappointed never felt so unwelcome in my life... Like the staff are so rude they asked me for ID 3 times they don't accept coins but the ticket machine spits out coins... So I had about 10 dollars in 2 dollar coins and they wouldn't change it.. as soon as I was done playing couldn't even finish my ciggie was told to stand... I had money to spend there just waiting for a machine and they kick you out of the gaming room... Like there was this one lady that just followed me around like ready to pounce.. Honestly I'm not from Fairfield just my work took me to this place but I would defsss find happier staff it was just so messed up.. That wasn't the first time I felt unwelcome I wanted to give this place a second chance two times in a row been told to move or just made to feel unwelcome... what's the purpose of a pub? Like they want everyone to stand or something it's really pathetic like all the staff are so rude... I wouldn't waste my time.

People are rude, unprofessional, would highly recommend to stay far away as possible, they don't even ask nicely on things, they rudely brush you off. Rather spend my money on cheap booze that'll get me drunk better

May, yes May is her name... The games room hoast was very accommodating, deserving a shout out, friendly and comforting and always visiting at the right time to offer a refreshment, needs to be recognized so hence the post, keep it up May, people, us! (The local customers do notice your efforts, the customer next to me says, “Isnt she lovely? thats May, she is kind !) Keep it up ! A future manager or pub publican you are, 👌🏻

It's a good place to drink, customers were friendly, the security guard were great and the female bartender is absolutely amazing, full of personality and empathy.

Great bar service. Friendly place to drink . No drunken messy drinkers here . My friends and I had a enjoyable drink here and went home happy . Train station across the road too.Very convenient if you had too much to drink.YOU CAN CATCH THE TRAIN...instead of driving.

Get charged all most $11 for a wild turkey and coke. Not even a full glass and no taste of the bourbon as I'm sure it's water down

Cool pub. Just been done up good screens for betting good beer normal prices ♿ access into pub. Around the side. Nice barmaids quite can relax good little pub
