We both had the Scotch Fillet Steak (the option below didn’t include the steaks which are an integral part of dining at the Crown!)with terrific chips and a fresh salad. Our steaks were cooked to perfection!! Everything was gorgeous including the sauces and our drinks. Great prompt service, reasonable prices on a large range of delicious food options and a clean environment. Daily lunch specials and early happy hour makes it easy to choose to dine at The Crown Hotel frequently.

Pretty cool spot, bit annoyed after sitting upstairs and buying drinks for 2hrs I was told pay the $35 entry fee or leave.. but I'd been there for 2hrs already. Old mate security guard was gracious enough to let us finish our drinks and leave. Feels like I'm not encouraged to return.

NO STAR SPECIALISTS… Didn’t even get to the food menu… the customer service at the bar was the all too familiar non-friendly ‘couldn’t care less if you drink and eat here or not’ slacker attitude… walked out… never to return.
Pub staff be nonchalant, be indifferent , be unhelpful and be unfriendly as you possibly can… all welcome to Personality Bypass Central aka The Crown Hotel Parramatta!

Nice pub in a good location, food and beers reasonably priced and a good spot for a feed before the footy at Commbank Stadium.

My partner & I love this place! The food is always delicious with good sized portions. The staff particularly Anita & Shalu are so welcoming & good at what they do, those 2 ladies & their awesome customer service make going there enjoyable!

My date brought me here for drinks, and then we walked towards the river bridge. The vibe is energetic with lots of other restaurants and bars in the vicinity. It was a good introduction to Paramatta's nightlife.
It's a decent hangout place.

Modern establishment offering multiple areas over two floors. Upstairs bar is bright and spacious however there is an unseparated area designated for smokers. This may impact the enjoyment of others but was not an issue on the day I visited. The food servings are very generous and tasty. There are a few craft beers on tap as well as the staples. Service is friendly and helpful.

Just enjoyed a bottle of wine, garlic bread and chips at this hotel. I was served by Shalu at the bar. She was so friendly and welcoming. She was so special I thought I just had to send this praise her way.

It's great to sit in the window and watch the world go by. The food was very tasty. Sadly, we had to stay downstairs, but I'd love to check out the upstairs terrace garden.

i came monday feb 12 i was always therd that's again i entern but one like indian guy block me and againa bluck me so i wright this message i recomanded good guy there but nowdays belongs indian guy who is not knowleage of bar and otherthings

Had steak and vege was lovely. service was a little slow I was the last one of 10 people to receive my meal and everyone else had finished their meal. Otherwise venue was good and our team lunch too.

Great weekday specials, food and schooners ($6). The food keeps getting better and bigger. I cannot seem to finish the schnitzel

Great value $15 steak lunch in a laid back atmosphere.
I live locally and since working from home have come into the Crown a number of times for my lunch break. The food is smashing value for $15. So much so that I haven't even shied away from coming in outside of lunch hours and paying the $24.
They had live music one time I went in for a night feed from a very talented band - Awesome vibe and a breath of fresh air from all the covid dreariness. It had me checking their website to keep on top of when they have performers lined up.
The counter staff are friendly and offer good chat. Food comes right out to you too from the chef. No need to get dressed up to come here, great spot for workmen/workwomen in workwear. Come as you are. Sit the heck down and enjoy a warm meal and time out.

Great food, but disappointed that accessibility was so poor - bistro was upstairs with no lift available (it was out of order). Maybe avoid if you have a disability!

Good value for money, sadly hard to find a venue capable of cooking a MR steak but they did wonderful. Pepper sauce good taste and consistency sides were good. Would return, only neg would. Be the volume of the music in the venue, bit loud for a pub with people trying to eat and converse

Exceptional food and hospitality is spot on and well above average for a pub. At a great price.
Their steaks are as good as they get. Thanks for having us time and time again, from south australia travelling. Looking for a nice place to eat and drink. We wanted to explore other venues but you guys set the the bar high. Thats why we came back. 10 for service also , food quality and price. Best pub in paramatta hands down.. Thanks for hosting. See you next time. Keep up the good work 💪💯💯👍 its i big yes from us.😊😊😊

Crown is a Parramatta institute, a must visit venue for any occasion. Great atmosphere with an abundance of characters to liven up your day.

Can recommend the stacked high super tasty Crown Burger, matched with a 2024 vintage ;-) Wayfarer Tropical Pale Ale. Enjoy

Came back to your pub, been there at least 4 times before , came for dinner Friday 26th January for a another nice meal, well that didn’t happen, the staff where all chatting , we ordered dinner , garlic bread, entree calamari then 2 mains, no one else was eating and all 4 meals came out at once. Seriously by the time I went to eat my dinner it was cold. My salad had mushroom and garlic sauce all over it. Won’t be coming back $95 for 2 for a horrible meal,

Amazing drinks and service from Gus!
My friends and I wanted someplace to chill and have a drink, but we ended staying for the legendary cocktails and the pool games!
Gus really impressed us with his perfectly crafted cocktails and his original recipes based on our vague preferences XD
I ended up finding my favourite drink and I savoured every sip! If you’re wondering, it’s his Midori sour ;)

5 stars for the lunch menu! Amazing value and good pub grub, loved it. Will be back to try the whole menu. The cheeseburger is EXCELLENT 😋

10/10 Want to thank here for being the best kind of public establishment you need on the Parramatta strip.
Only the best deserves this spot closest to the heart of the city.
