The Dale Reviews
You don't find many unmolested old school front bars these days. They're usually demolished or over polished. This one is classic suburban watering hole. No frills, no bling no worries. Spacious ,suitably equipped with pool tables, pin ball, pokies and a beer garden. Down to earth , experienced staff round it off perfectly.

Went there for a drink after work. Found some people to play pool with, good fun. Bar staff seemed like they didn't want to be there and the place is getting very tired now, holes in the carpet, worn out bar.

We had dinner here for three times, will no longer coming back for foods. Their foods quality are getting worst.. although prices are very cheap. Beer is just $7 per pint from 7pm

Warm beer out of the fridges and pretty xie
Last time I was here they were selling out of date beer at full price rang the owner and he didn’t care

Visited last week and found the place has gone downhill since the first time we visited. Most items on the menu weren't available due to only having temporary chefs on. This affected some starter items we ordered, which we didn't find out until they turned up at the table. The excuse was "oh, some things might turn out differently because of different chefs". Not really good enough.
Sad to see such a promising place do a 180. We won't be back.

Very good food, large great selection. Pub prices. Helpful friendly staff. Nice place. Always quite busy. Did not have to wait too long for meals& drinks. Quite new

Three stars because of great service at the bottle shop. Would have been 5 stars except for paying $12 for a pint at the bar Friday afternoon. Facilities are nice enough though

The food was not great quality the drinks were ok but unfortunately slow services the bar tender was talking to overs and the bathrooms were disgusting I don't recommend going their

The food was lacking in flavour and everything was covered in oil.
The bolognaise risotto tasted like plain mince.
As did the samosas.
All in all it was very bland and greasy.

Staff were very friendly and the setting really clean and fresh (recently renovated I was told) but the food was really ordinary. Beef and Guinness pies should be bursting with flavour...not this one, and the salad was limp and tired.

Recently refurbished and now with a much improved restuarant.
The deals in this place are great! Drive through is very efficient - in fact the whole venue is run well.
Pool tables and rock n roll.. perfect Armadale venue for karaoke too!

Partner and I came in for dinner and found the place simply amazing. Great food and lovely service.
Got the lamb shanks and pork belly as mains. Delicious quality meals and generous servings for the price of the meals. Desserts were yummy too.
Lady at the counter was easy to talk to and came to our table to inform us when kitchen was ready for orders. You could tell the waiter and chef were both proud and happy to serve the dishes =) Chef was super friendly, came out and checked up on how the meals were.
Definitely coming back, thank you!

Ordered the loaded chips with pulled pork and cheese. It wasn't pulled pork it was slices of pork that were very tough. Not sure where the cheese got to but there was one section that had a very small amount of melted cheese but you had to look close to see it. Would not recommend to anyone.

nice fitout in public bar specials everyday for food.

menu had changed, chefs are different too... quite disappointed, food aren't as good as before. Fish & chips are quite soggy and portion is small, , crispy skins pork belly is not crispy too...i think angus steak is the best among all.

I couldn't have asked for a better venue the Dale function room. Best services I have ever had, so helpful, so generous, and so just cared about our night being perfect. And the food OMG I'm never doing the cooking and catering myself again I will leave it to the chef at the Dale. I could not have done better than all the amazing food that they supplied. Everything was perfect and a great night was had by all, so thank you everyone at the Dale 😆😆😆😆😆

Grubby pub, the photos of the venue are not what's on offer it's not worth the time.. they don't even have a kitchen any more just a bar and tab.. Service is useless and beers are way to expensive

Great service however it is very quiet. People need to take the plunge and try this place out U will be surprised!! They have great drink specials

Great place for dinner. Never too busy and you can get a good pub meal for a reasonable price.

Food is okay the mushrooms and gravy on the side of the steak tastes not so good, drinks are a reasonable price but other than that the staff are great.

First time the meal was a flop. Did not enjoy any part of the fish and chips meal. Would've rated 1 star but the other meals eaten by my guests were great.

First time going to this pub
And upon entering thought it looked good with plenty of people in there.
When we approached the bar, the bar person was quiet rude and questioned why we were there in a way that was abrupt.
Feeling like we should have been in ther we only ordered one drink each and this felt like an intrusion on her time .
May she could have taken the time to inform us that it was Thursday night $15 Parma night with a quiz and we may have stayed for a meal and a few more drinks instead of leaving after one drink and going to Chinese down the road with byo drinks
