Wonderful cool ambience ! Great staff who actually appear to enjoy their job. Delicious food including the best potato wedges I have ever tasted. Believe me I didn't want to share them. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

While passing through Geelong, I made a stop here with the intention of enjoying a Parmi. My order consisted of 1 Bruschetta and 1 Parmi. It was a tuesday night, and I was surprised to find that it took approximately 40-45 minutes to receive my order, which was a notable delay.
Upon receiving my Bruschetta, I was disheartened to discover that it amounted to just a quarter of a roll, sliced. This lackluster portion size left me quite disappointed, especially considering the $16 price tag for the dish.
Moving on to the Parmi, it was, in all fairness, acceptable. However, there was a noticeable issue with the cheese, as it appeared to be overcooked.
All in all, I regret to say that this dining experience did not offer good value for the money spent. Given the lengthy wait time and underwhelming portions, I am inclined to pass on returning to this establishment. It is my belief that there are better dining options available in the area that provide a more satisfying experience.

Went Saturday night as we were going to a show at Costa Hall. Fluked a park on the street. Pub was really noisy and we found it cold. They had an "event menu" which was pretty average with not much choice. I ordered fish and chips which was 1 piece of Hake with chips and salad. It came out quick but with a tonne of salt on it! Sorry but we won't be back.

Went during the day for a quick lunch break. Both the burger and chips were nice.
Hard to mention the atmosphere since I was the ONLY guest at the time, I'm sure it gets awesome when the place is busy.

Visited here on a Monday night when passing through Geelong.
Bit of an old school pub vibe - bit stark with the décor and lighting but I suspect it's very different at the weekends.
One of us went the bottomless wings, and the other the Rib Burger.
Wings were ok albeit a little greasy at times - went for the 'dry' option with the sauce on the side which worked ok. It did take a while in-between plate top-ups but at least you knew they were getting prepared fresh.
The Rib burger with waffle fries looked amazing - but unfortunately that's about it. The fries were over-seasoned (I think it was the coating) which made eating too many of them difficult. The rib was really fatty (about 60%+ fat) and the meat was mostly chewy. There were a couple of small good bits of meat which were tasty but it wasn't a great cut of meat and perhaps had been cooked too quickly. For $28 it looked good when brought to the table, but was not worth the money.
Staff were friendly and helpful, so no issues there.
Probably won't revisit.

The Deck has a comfy, warm pleasant atmosphere. The staff are friendly but the sealer for me was the 1/2 Chicken Parmi!!!!! Finally a perfect (large) size. Chips and salad were great. This will be a regular for sure.

Service (booking, bar, food) was great. Prompt in getting folks seated.
Menu better than older style pubs.
Food once ready arrived quickly.
Pricing was pretty standard.
Wide range of beers, other drinks.
Folks appeared to be friendly, enjoying their time at the pub.

Only issue is the 3 middle aged women (former woo girls) ordering their bottle of white wine at full send. But the Friday parmi goes down a treat.

Not sure if this deck is related in any way to the deck in Frankston, but this one definitely has much friendlier people and staff.

It has cozy indoor and outdoor seating with multiple levels and balconies.
The food was pub meals, but decent. Nonas spaghetti came out pretty good and the fish was super crispy. Will definitely visit next time In Geelong

My daughter had her 21st on the 9th September 2023 on the second floor. The atmosphere was awesome, the two ladies running the private bar were just lovely so helpful and pleasant to everyone. They were very helpful when we had question about setting up they were happy to help. The deck outside was very cosy with gas heaters and small sheltered area. I thought the venue fees would be heaps but the minimum spend was realistically capped. We ordered food and the service was unreal as they brought them out they walked around the room first then placed on a table. I would highly recommend the deck for your functions.

Looking for a pub for lunch and came across The Deck. True old style pub....great food and even better service. Big shout out to Alex ...was so refreshing to converse with a young man who was genuine and made us feel more than just customers. Came back a few days later to share with family after daughters graduation from Deakin. Highly recommend. Will be back😀

Looked great but the lamb was so blue and chewy could've been alive again. Possibly since we had a big order of like 12 they left them all out for an all at once table serving but it doesn't make the lamb any more cooked. It was Parmi V Parma night expect the food to be cooked is all on my HSP.

I recently visited The Deck and it was absolutely fantastic! The customer service was top-notch, thanks to the incredible workers Kyle, Liv, and Winston. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The food was also amazing, 10/10 for sure!

I love a pub meal and it has been a long time since I had a really really good proper pub feed. The food here is excellent. I mean really really excellent to the point that i am leaving this review (which i never bother doing). The pub itself is nothing special but the food is next level delicious. The staff are also lovely and go above and beyond to be pleasant. Try the spicy chicken burger and the cheesy garlic bread!!

I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to The Deck and their wonderful team for Saturday night. The bar staff were absolutely terrific, especially Sophie. The fellas had an awesome time and the space The Deck provided us was perfect for the group. The burgers we all had were delicious and the drinks kept on flowing. We had a great time. Cheers

Highly recommend this establishment. Staff were very attentive. Not a place for those in a hurry. Sit back, relax and enjoy great food in a fabulous atmosphere.

Great food, awesome location and great friendly service. Had the wagyu rump which was cooked to perfection and creamy chicken schnitzel, both were amazing.

Coming from Melbourne I'd not heard of this place before, but can honestly say, I'll gladly take the drive down again to come back. The staff are amazing, the food absolutely delicious and great value!! Such a great ambience too!! Highly recommend!!

Chose the deck for our sons 21st...the staff were excellent ensuring we had a good night...always happy to assist with anything we needed..special shout out to Sophie who was super attentive on night...wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue and its great team for your event

Caught the Ferry to Geetroit on Easter Monday and after a couple of hours wandering around we struggled to find a watering hole to our liking with many places closed for the holiday.
Trudging towards the station to return to Melbs we stumbled across The Deck and we sure were glad we did!
We were lucky enough to experience the sea view before it gets built out by a nearby development but that turned out to be just an added bonus.
What a great little pub with brilliant staff, good food, big screen TVs showing the footy and a great atmosphere.
Thanks guys, you made (and saved) the day!

Ate here after our show at costa hall, entree - nachos well below average, the bao buns were great, our mains -my wife ordered the Asian beef salad, no good, not balanced very sour, beef, peanuts and leaves, nothing else.
I ordered The pork rib half rack, menu declared ribs with mash and vegetables? I got ribs with unsalted chips and salad leaves? No salt on the table either 🤦♂️.
Unfortunately the experience was poor.

After seeing some beautiful photos of the food and interior, we decided to give this place a try for lunch. As soon as we walked in, I wondered if this was actually the right place as it looked nothing like the photos? We sat down and ordered our food thinking that photos sometimes look different, no biggie. The food arrived....... It looked nothing like the photos, it tasted disgusting and way overpriced for what we got. When we mentioned that some items were missing, they just shrugged their shoulders and didn't offer anything (we paid before the food arrived).
All in all, would not recommend it. I don't know where the photos from here came from, as the items aren't even on the menu (sushi??). Perhaps they had an ownership change...
