We went there yesterday for a girlfriends birthday and today for my 60th birthday they gave us a separate room out the back which was perfect. Excellent service and the manager Christine was very helpful and just a delightful human being. The food was delicious 😋 I ordered oysters and a bowl of sweet potato chips which were delicious. We purchased a bottle 🍾 of champagne 🥂to share between 9 of us and a few us also bought cocktails which were all very good! Thanks so much to all the staff for making this a wonderful day, especially Christine. It's where I now want to go with my friends for my 60th birthday 🎂. I just wish you had an email list for all your upcoming events. I will be going back soon with my husband.

Very lovely steak (what sort of “pub” does Dry Age anyway?) - great crust, 21 day aged beef very tender, and lovely nutty flavour. Price while expensive is - touch under a steakhouse, but better cooked. Highly recommend trying if you can.

Tucked away off Kenthurst Road this location a nice little surprise. The girl at reception was amazing in her service assisting us with our first time visit and verbally guiding us about The Duke. She also helped us with downloading an app that provides discounted meals other benefits. The Duke was comfortable in it's decor and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the 500gm sticky BBQ Wings and they were some of the best that we have had. The only reason for the 4 star rating and not 5 star is there is not an option for non-smoking outdoor eating or drinking. I am guessing they had to work with the location they had. Still despite this I highly recommend a visit to The Duke of Dural.

This place has been recently renovated and it's a great option for a good stake any day. Ate here several times, from family dinners to various get-togethers, so I got a chance to go through their menu and see various options. Apart from the Wagyu rump stake with 3 choices of sauce, the warm salads with or without meat protein are also a must to try. The calamari rings are some of the best I've ever had and always eat more than I need to when I visit The Duke. There is a section away from the bar / bistro area so you can easily take young ones with you. Check the website for specials, for trivia nights and it's a good idea to book especially at the end of the week. You can also book the big dining room that has a huge table and fits 10-12 people. The only regret you'll have is that you ate too much.

The place was definitely clean and pleasant and the food was satisfactory. My husband ordered the t bone steak and it was very ordinary, didn't even include a salad and poorly presented. My schnitzel was okay, included a salad. The service desk could have been better positioned too especially for first time visitors.

The place to go for a good quality and consistent feed. Everything off the menu is delicious - such fantastic flavours and I honestly prefer it to the fine dining restaurants in the area. Great service too. I highly recommend coming here.

The Duke is absolutely beautiful!! the atmosphere to the welcoming staff has that warm pub feel. It's the perfect place for dinner and drinks. The food is always on point here it's so relaxed it's like a home away from home when I come here to eat. It's no wonder The Duke Hotel won Hotel of the Year.

Packed trivia night last night. Very well run. Had to park across the road it was so popular. The staff made special effort to keep all the tables clean of empties. There were queues for bar service but it was handled quickly and with a smile. Had a wonderful evening. Good fun.

Ordered scotch fillet steak, perfectly grilled to medium rare. Wish it was a thicker cut of beef. But very nicely cooked. Burger was good size and chillie prawn pasta was very tasty. Good variety of beer. House wine was of high standard.

Nice food and atmosphere.. friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have kids meals on the menu which I found unusual for this type of place...

Let’s talk about what The Duke does well. It’s spotlessly clean with a really well stocked bar, a good cocktail list and really fast kitchen. Meals and booze are reasonably priced for the area and parking is decent. What it could have done better is more of the “around the edges” stuff with the food. The calamari was a decent size, not at all rubbery and had a great spicy batter but it looked pale and didn’t have a golden glow or crunch to the batter. The Duke burger had good flavour and was a decent size but was soggy (a lettuce leaf or fresh tomato slice might have helped add some crunch and texture). Clientele skews older like most of the Hills district. Bistro closes at 9pm on weekdays I’m told.

I rang to book mothers day lunch for a party of 8 plus a child which I specified that we would need a baby seat for him a week in advance, I rang specifically instead of booking online so we could get seating suitable to accommodate the high chair. We were placed at a high table with bar stools, when I advised the hostess that I had rang previous to arrange suitable seating she told me there were no tables for 8 that were lower. I could see several (they were all full so we were unable to take one). The ones I did see had more than 8 people seated at them so this was a flat out lie. There were also no baby change facilities available, something it would've been nice to know at the time I booked considering I specifically said I had a young child. The food was average pub food and in my opinion not worth the high price tag.

Had dinner tonight with a friend who suggested the Dukes for a catch up and some dinner, I was very impressed by the menu, and the dish I ordered was delicious. Will definitely be making more dinner nights there from tonight’s experience. The staff was very friendly helpful and obliging.

Food was great as was ambiance (live music was so good). the best cocktails. Food for a “pub” is bit exy. Shame waitress wasn’t enthused. It costs nothing to smile 😀

Absolutely delicious. At the end of the day, that's all that really matters. So big shout out to the hard working chefs. First time visiting and we enjoyed our food so much that we have booked to come back in for Father's Day. Update: Father's Day lunch at The Duke of Dural was fantastic. Though super busy, it was handled well, with plenty of friendly waitstaff constantly clearing tables and an efficient kitchen team that kept pumping out an endless stream of delicious food, cooked to perfection. We didn't feel rushed as table allocation was 2 hours ! The card and a beer for Dad was a nice touch. The free raffle drawn at 4pm had us coming back for a second visit and a coldie on our way home. Thanks for making dad's day a great day. Update Jan 26 2024: Back again for Australia Day. Once again the food was delicious, the staff friendly and the environment cool and comfortable on what was a sweltering hot day. Loved the Oz day menu - The Surf n Turf was superb and our favourite Portuguese chicken was better than remembered. As always - shout out to the hardworking chefs. 👏
