Worst pub we’ve been to, took almost 1 hour to get 1 dish with both sides incorrect and main overcooked.

Update: they did change the bistro owner, we haven’t tried it yet.
Huge portions! Tasty and very reasonable prices.

Took a team of U15 boys waterpolo athletes after a day of games. Arrived at 18.00, still no food by 19.40 left at 20.00 with only half meals made, refund.... don't go....

The worst pub in Strathfield poor customer service
And extremely poor management. Every time I went to the pub the fizzy drinks were always off when I complained the managers they would say that I am wrong. I also overheard two of the girls behind the bar were talking about the drinks being off.
Besides all that there was only one person in the entire staff that was the most kindest person and actually managed the pub way better than an actual manager. I wish not to reveal her name but she has been fired for no reason when all the other managers should be fired instead.
If I could rate this pub with a zero rating I would.
I do not recommend this pub at all there are many other pubs that would take care of the customers and have a better management. I think something needs to be done about this before Enfield loses everything and everyone. This is the one pub that I will never return to. The customer Service I have received is extremely appalling!

The whole seating area smelt like cigarettes. As nonsmokers, this was very uncomfortable for us to dine in however since it was our first time at this pub we gave it a try anyway.
Food took almost an hour to come out and when it did, the included sides weren't what we ordered. The menu had chips and garden salad but we were given wedges and vegetables with no heads up.
While the wedges were not bad, the vegetables were undercooked and inedible. I asked the chefs and they offered a full refund to resolve the issue. No refund was ever provided.
The steak was slightly burnt in some areas and overcooked. Medium was requested and we got well done. Sauce portion was also tiny, some of the steak went without sauce. However they did provide us with free soft drinks which comes with every meal.

The chef should not be taking orders, he potentially is handling money, he has no hat on or chef atire. Very very bad, chips were awful, will not go again.

Quiet & peaceful atmosphere. Warm and friendly staff. Cheap tap beers. Exciting new bistro opening soon next month Jan 2024.

Perfect place to have good Time great friendly service staff, excellent meals at quiet good prices including lunch time specials amample room to enjoy you're meal and drink,VIP room if you like to try you're luck bet with you're head not over it as we all know you have to be lucky ! TAB private area, many large screen TV monitors for all you're sporting requirements ample parking at back of hotel highly recommended 👍.

Over charged on the adverted alcohol price and when questioned didn’t fixed the issue until much later. Service was rude in approach and confusing. Unfortunately at the end on the evening, knowing we were not entirely happy continued to pull a dig about access to the exit, though the week before we’re happy for us to use the same exit. As a loyal patron of this establishment for 6 + years I have never felt the need to review but today’s treatment was poor and unwarranted especially when local community want to support local business they make it very hard!

One person is stationed in the kitchen which results in the food being made very slowly which affects customers arrival back home which affects when they sleep and how they wake up which affects their daily life.

Nice olace. Quiet for an Oigin night. However, they mixed up my hisbands order. They gave him extra for giving salad instead of vegies. Didnt have the heart to say they gave him a chicken burger instead of a regular burger.

Nice food and friendly place. The menu has been completely different each time we have visited and I think this is a change in kitchen staff. Yet the staff serving are very helpful and friendly even fixing up wrong orders.

I just walked into The Enfield Hotel just now and found no soap in the 3 holders in the bathroom.
I told the staff behind the bar and they said it should be fixed tomorrow being a Sunday which if it is a problem on a Saturday would they actually fix this problem on a Sunday.
I said to the staff member that there should be a bar of soap at least as there was none.
I wonder if the drinks and food they serve are contaminated as these are the only bathrooms available and the staff don't have separate bathrooms for themselves.

I have driven past this pub many times but went there for the first time last night. Can't beat a 2 for 1 meal deal. Steak was very nice. Chips were good but a bit salty. Salad had too much dressing. Beer was cheap. Not much room as most of the hotel is dedicated to pokies. Staff seemed nice although it seemed the poker players were given preferential treatment.

Friendly staff and a great meal. I had the Arancini which was freshly made and you could tell -it was the best I have ever tasted. It was on the menu under entrees, but with some chips, it definitely was filling enough to have as a main. Great price too.

Everyone needs to come and check out this place. the food there is amazing. I was there last night with my kids and family. there was Only one chef And heaps of customers. And he manage to serve all his meals on time. I’m not a local but I’m happy to travel far to try his meals again. not only the chef was amazing but the stuff was so helpful. Definitely bringing the whole family again…..

Eat reguarly at the enfield hotel.the place is bubbly with the kindest staff.the food is so good.iv tried most dishes. Pasta dishes just rock ..2 for 1 most days and variety of food... A vsriety of specials.the place is just wonderful.get down here.. Love you guys and you treat us so well

Didn't get entry permission to enter took me 10 minutes to prove my fully vaccination online with phone app
( cause screen shot they don't except im ok with that )
Security has ego problems doest even display his Id licence even though I prove vaccination he locked the door said come back tomorrow
Trying to support local clubs but think ill flick this place don't waste your time going here

descent schnitzel the breast hadnt been cut into thin slices like the Croydon Park hotel or the Palms which I haven't been back to cos of that reason, and think I will do the same with the Croydon

Clean quiet place. There is a buy one get one free main meal special offer. Great value. Good portion sizes. A good quiet pub hidden in Enfield.

Attention to all current and potential customers planning to visit this hotel. Please watch the video I've posted. It shows a male who is employed as a manager of the hotel. Throwing a glass at a customer during a heated argument. He instigated the whole incident. This is why they are currently required to serve all drinks in plastic. He is still employed there. Faced no criminal charges. It's a disgrace. Do not attend this venue. You're risking your safety and the safety of your family. He could do this again.

A fantastic meal. Unknowingly, the pub does a 'buy 1 get 1 free' deal every day! With most menu items included. The food was fabulous. Chips were crispy, the chicken of the chicken parmigiana was juicy and thick - perfectly fried. The gamberi pasta had sensational prawns and was tasty! On top of all of that, they do $5 beers on tap. We were tempted to get the churros for dessert, but were too full. But we will be back. That's for certain.
