Went here for a birthday party the staff member who took our order done a very good job and was friendly but the food was awful and could have been better when the meals arrived their was confusion and it took a awhile to get the meals to where we were seated. Unfortunately we wont be back

Went for parma night - service was average, meals were OK. Wasn't given option of sides, and noticed the table beside us were all served with different side options

We booked the Flying Horse Warrnambool for my son’s 18th birthday. Lisa helped us book a private function room and it was the perfect space for our party. We all had a wonderful night with great food and company. Will definitely visit again

Food & service was great.
Don’t be fooled by the inclusion of “Brewery & Bar” in the name, no brewery here & what craft beer on tap in the Bar is CUB owned craft beer, nothing independent or local. 1 star off for that.

Took my family in tonight and we all enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in many years. All the food was cooked to perfection and plates beautifully. Meal size was excellent and well proportioned. We all tasted each others meals and all were delicious. Deserts were to die for!
Staff were exceptionally polite, service was fantastic and we could not fault the entire night.
We have been to this bar quite a few times, no matter if it's a weekday lunch, weekend dinner, a quiet night or booked out, we have never had a bad meal or even a mediocre one.
Menu prices are very well balanced and you can get a great feed for a family of 4 for less than $60, or if you have an appetite for adventure like me (and hollow legs), you can easily spend that on one plate like the one pictured which was a massive steak, calamari and garlic prawns and was worth every cent!

The steak was not worth the price, the smashed potatoes were very dry, and the meal cannot feed you well.
We went somewhere else to get more food after dinner here.

For the celebration of the life of a dear friend of my partner, we attended a gathering of family and friends at #theflyinghorse
It’s a very large venue with many spaces to gather collectively. We were seated in a lovely spot but wasn’t too noisy considering the number of people.
Menu is traditional pub food at reasonable prices. My partner had a medium rare porterhouse steak which was cooked exactly as requested. It was accompanied with honey candied carrots, broccolini and garlic flavoured mashed potato’s.
I ordered the penne carbonara and took up the option of chicken that was served with shaved parmesan.
Portion sizes were good and taste not bad for a pub meal, considering the volume of food they were pumping out.
The bar is well stocked and although I chose the house red, it was pretty good.
Kids are well catered for and it’s an ideal ‘family friendly’ place to eat.
Bonus - no poker machines humming in the background.
Plenty of car parking.
Courtesy bus available and that was well used by our group.
Best of all, the staff were amazing. Helpful. Courteous. Friendly.

Making reservation is simple. Food is overall good, especially the prawn pasta and wings. Price is reasonable. Have to order at counter and self service for water which are fine but will be good if sharing plates and spoons are provided without having to ask for them. Staff is friendly and ambience is good. Will go again next time.

Lady with blonde hair who served us, didn’t get a name. She was amazing and so nice big smile on her face and lovely accent, should get a raise. Food was very nice. Had an awesome time.

I ordered a medium rare eye fillet. It was absolutely to die for with mushroom sauce. Accompanied with a fresh salad, salt and pepper calamari and a refreshing drink. Great staff and great service.
Having dessert i ordered the waffle supreme. It had a perfect berry sauce and compote. Only improvement could be using mint flavoured kitkats and maybe a combination of vanilla and chocolate ice cream.
10/10 would reccomend.

I have never had a bad meal here…
And now their updated menu has a section I am a huge fan of!
And it contains RIBS!
American BBQ style ribs that were absolutely sensational.
I can’t wait to have them again…and again…and again!

Had to wait over an hour for the meal, 3 times they tried to deliver the wrong meal, when we finally did receive the correct meal, after having to chase it up numerous times with different staff, who were supposedly going to check what was going on and then completely ignoring us and not even updating us to what was actually happening with the food, we finally received it along with a $50 food voucher for our troubles which we would not bother to use anyway as the food was beyond disappointing.

Great pub with table service (both drinks and food!) Food and service were first rate. Good size serves of quality food.
Garlic & cheese bread was excellent as were the main fish and chips. All of our party were extremely happy with their food and the dining experience here.

Great pub the Flying Horse 🐴
🍔Food was good, nothing flash but hit the spot.
💰 Price was on the higher end for a pub meal but reasonable.
🍽 Vibe is a country pub and bistro - plenty of tables (we did come @5pm).
🤵 Staff were all friendly and welcoming.
🏎 Plenty of parking out the back.

Great atmosphere, excellent place to catch up with friends. The food service wasn't the best, staff kept walking around with food trying to find who ordered it. We waited over an hour for our lunch to be ready which was disappointing.

Food was okay but a bit overpriced. $5 for a can of soft drink. Staff were a bit confused but generally well meaning. Kids menu for under 13 only, not teenagers.

Didn't purchase a meal here, they did look very good though, and a large feed.
Atmosphere was great, venue spacious, well set out and the service from the barman was great.
I'm sure well be back to try the food one day.

Delicious flathead and chips at reasonable price.
Companions enjoyed the Parma and Pork Loin also.
Adjacent table had a burger that looked very tasty.
Surprisingly few customers for a Fri lunchtime on a glorious autumn day. People don't know what they're missing.

Chicken Parma was STONE COLD in the middle. Staff member wasn't even suprised. Offered a replacement or something else from the menu. Hello food poisoning!!!
Beef burger was dripping with sickly sweet sauce straight from a jar and wasn't enjoyed.
Calamari was tender but average in flavour. The salad was very poor and consisted of only lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Very over priced for what was served!
Medium steak came on the rare side and with gravy and hollandaise sauce, both from a bucket.
Deep pan pizza was good for a pub pizza.
We ordered six beers between us, all schooners, all came in different sized and shaped glasses. Not sure why.
Both Waiter and waitress reached OVER customers to serve and remove plates. No serving from the right and taking from the left in this establishment.
McDonalds is right next door - at least you know what you will get, at a cheaper price and generally better service.

Braised lamb shoulder was superb! It was very busy with heaps of customers, so a little noisy. All meals at our table were high quality. I would go again.

Arrived and the 2 tables along side of us arrived after us and got served before us. Ordered entree and half way through our mains came. Was like eating at Coles cafeteria. Very average experience.

A really awesome atmosphere and would highly recommend for those interested in sports and sprint cars and in the Warnambool area. There are life sized replicas in the venue that make for a cool photo moment and lots of TV's and bar set up which is perfect for watching events. The food was not amazing but it wasn't bad. There were a couple vegetarian options available on the menu which is always good too. Prices were on the higher side but portions were large. I found my pizza was a little disappointing however my partner enjoyed his steak.

A great meal spoiled. So they just bring out the meals as soon as they're ready. So I got mine after everyone else had finished eating. The chefs do great work I commend them. If I come back next time I'll order early so I can actually enjoy it.
