What a great venue - we visited for a birthday for 25 odd people and there was so many groups in other areas which always makes you nervous about level of service but it went seamlessly, very professional and the food was great .

Very friendly prompt service. Lovely menu & great prices. Ordered Tuscan Chicken & it was amazing. Chicken breast was tender. Served with mushroom & bacon creamy sauce with choice of perfectly cooked veggies or a colourful salad with dressing. Dessert was a ginger pudding with an amazing custard & fresh cream. They could not improve on this meal.

very disappointing.
I ordered the Aussie burger and what I got was undersized American burger with so much sauce on it. I could not taste a meat and what’s more that I thought I must’ve accidentally ordered. The kids meal will definitely not be going back unless I see some changes and maybe the chance that will get a true Aussie burger

The Foundry was recommended to us by the owner of The Heritage Motel, which is just a short walk away.
We had Pumpkin Soup and Salt & Pepper Calamari Salad, followed by Apple and Rhubarb Crumble, all of which we enjoyed. The service was friendly & helpful.
If we were staying in Bendigo for longer, we would have definitely returned to the Foundry for another meal.

The food was good. Price was reasonable. Fair crowd in so a bit noisy, but that's to be expected.

The 2 course meal is great value and is always delicious. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Comfortable and clean premises.

Thai Beef Noodle Salad - bowl of lettuce with a very small amount of noodles, and other veg. Decent amount of beef, and it was tender, however, the entire dish was absolutely tasteless. There was little to no dressing. All I could taste was lettuce. I did expect it to be a warm salad. All fridge cold. Very disappointing and unappetising meal and very expensive for what it was. My pensioner parents 2 meals + 1 light beer + 1 soft drink + 1 side of (dry) garlic bread = $100.
Couldn't fault the young wait staff. Service was top notch and fast.
Very nice function room. Private, clean and well set out.
Sorry, but unfortunately the poor quality of my meal and the pricing cancels out the amazing service staff so probably won't eat there again any time soon.

Service was ok, food & venue were ok, parking available nearby. Wouldn't rave over the place but nice enough :). Photo is of the pumpkin, chicken, mushroom risotto.

Now don't get me wrong the appeal of a tasty Parma and a rum and lemonade gets my tastebuds tingling, but I feel as if I have been left wanting. The Parma I received was bashed wafer thin and the cheese distribution was sub par at best, the only saving grace of the whole meal was the chips that were beautifully crispy yet delicately fluffy on the inside.
A few comments circled the table of puddles originating from the sauce of the parma that inturn jeopardized the previously discussed crispy chippies.

Not family friendly, don’t bother having a function here if there will be children present.
Food was quick but subpar. Eg Chicken Parma just tomato paste with cheese, no flavour at all, not worth nearly $30.
Disappointing and felt uncomfortable after staff asking us to “not let the kids run around” when they were just playing around our table.
I’m not one to let the kids run wild and am very conscious of the kids behaviour and felt it was an unneeded comment. We decided just to leave our friends function as we couldn’t enjoy ourselves after that.

My slab of brisket was ok.
Staff were very nice and pleasant.
Atmosphere was great. Like all the separate areas.

Meals were nice, good prices.
Good selection on menu. We were able to walkin and enjoy.

Lovely experience for lunch. Carlton Draught on tank which went down very nicely! Selection for lunch was plentiful. We had lasagne and the vegetable penne which were really well cooked and generous sizes. Staff were super friendly!
Will definitely come again for lunch when we are next in Bendigo!

Love coming to this pub when we visit my brother in Bendigo .
The staff were very friendly and their service was both quick and attentive .
P.S. the mixed grill was SUPERB

I had my 21st birthday here in the Zinc Room. Shauna helped to run our bar and keep everything running smoothly and she did a fantastic job! She remembered peoples orders and didn't leave an empty glass for longer than a couple of minutes! Ashlee helped to organise the event and was very accommodating to my procrastination and uncertainty. She offered many options and seemed very interested in making my birthday a good one! Every staff member tried to make me feel special, I even had a staff member from another room offer me a free birthday cocktail! I definitely felt very special and would recommend booking events here!
Thanks again to the brilliant staff who took care of me and my family.

I had a delightful experience dining here. I ordered the thai beef salad off the lunch menu and topped it off with a chocolate pudding. Be aware of the wait time for ordering a hot dessert and that it can get really busy around lunch. Otherwise, it is a highly recommended spot to catch up and socialise.

First-time visit while in Bendigo for work. The bistro was busy for a Thursday night, as was the sports bar. Very friendly service and fast, too.
Had the Texan burger. Huge! Tasty and actually a bit spicy. Chips were great as well.
Lemon tart was great and beautifully presented. Definitely go here!

Finally found a pub in Bendigo that was open on a Sunday, so in for lunch we went. A Thai beef salad and a Salt And Pepper Squid salad later we were fully sated. Absolutely amazing food, wonderful and attentive staff. Such a great experience and will revisit next time we are in town.

Everything at The Foundry was great! So great we had dinner here 2 nights in a row! The service was absolutely amazing - food was delicious & the atmosphere was great! Will definitely be back when in Bendigo in a few weeks time! Highly recommend! Special shout-out to Amanda for the “special desserts”!

Atmosphere was nice but super super loud. Staff worked well with our large group with ordering and paying seperate at the table. Was good serves but prices on higher end, as with most things these days.

AMAZING HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Our night started off very well when we were served by Tarnya at the bar who was very nice and I would also call her welcoming. We were also served by Aimee who was our waitress she made sure other people helped us and that we were happy with everything all throughout the night. Staff is one thing but the food was just as great some food my family and I would recommend is the roast lamb pie (a special that night), beef cheek, beef and ale pie and the big peeps (teenager) chicken schnitzel and chips. Overall best meal we'd gone out for by far in Bendigo!
