We visited the Glenelg air raid shelter then had lunch at the club.
Good food and value.

We ordered two lamb shanks each with the normal mash and greens. The land shanks themselves were nice however struggled to find a mouthful of mash and greens, must of been short of potatoes and vegetables, the steak was indigestible and cold fries. We gave the barely touched meal to the waitress who took it away. We were given a voucher to return for another dreadful meal. They desperately need a Chef not a average cook. However there are absolutely no complaints about the service staff.
The four of us are regular customers and were very disappointed with the meals.

Went there for a family get together which we were really looking forward to, as we had children with us the night was spoilt by lack of service & waiting time for our food which was close to an hour then to find most of our dishes were just luke warm. On completion of our meals the table was not cleared so my son started to do so. Also it was quiet so they weren't under pressure. I believe businesses are doing it tough so going on this episode we had they are certainly not doing themselves a favour for customers return. Very disappointed.

waited over AN HOUR for bangers and mash. Service was particularly rude.

Steak sandwich was nice however, it was on the specials board at $25? Maybe specials means they don't usually have that on their menu? Very over priced for a sandwich.

Seriously Brenton, I am sure I am not telling you anything you are not already aware of. Campbell is such an asset, friendly, courteous and conscientious. Give him a pat on the back next time you site him. Well deserved!

Perfectly cooked steak by chef Arafat.
Excellent view from the bistro.
Cool garnished, and i have got what i expected, perfect medium rump steak.
Will go again ...

Ordered chips and gravy 15 bucks for a kids size handful of chips which tasted gross, gravy was gross and the service was terrible waiting 30 minutes for chips

Myself and 3 friends have been regular diners and have found that the last few weeks the standard of meals and care factor from staff has greatly diminished. Meals have been missed , bought out cold and staff quite rude when our order has been questioned. We did go there today in the hope that things maybe different but unfortunately not the case . Ordered drinks did not arrive, cold chips , rubbery squid , chicken tenders that were over cooked and the size of my little finger , no aoli as stated only generic BBQ sauce . Latte was horrible extremely strong and bitter. Huge improvements needed

Ladies flock. Flap your wings. $1 dollar dollar champagne and men for sale plus sweaty thighs. The sun was high, the blood was pumping. Excellent fries and mayo.

Hadn’t been there for a couple of years so was looking forward to it ..... couldn't have been more disappointed ...the vast menu sounds to die for with something for everyone....so I chose the Moroccan lamb skewers as a mains for $5 extras they sounded delicious.( my friend also chose this meal )....they were awful...for starters there was 3 of them the meat was flat as tho a steamroller had run them over and u could almost see thru them...there was 3 and they were like a chicken tender shape only significantly smaller flatter & tough as old boots and stone cold!!....disgusting!! The fries were good tho ....

Had my mother in laws surprise 80th birthday lunch there today. As usual service and meals fantastic. Staff always very friendly there.

Great spot outside in the little beer garden overlooking the oval, with direct access for the kids (and us big kids too!) to have a kick and a run around when the team isn't on ground. My kids made friends and we ended up joining another family we just met for dinner! Food is decent too, I've had steak and schnitty and both were good with good chips and salad. Drinks are standard, it's a massive asset for the local area

Great spot for a private event. The event space and bar faces East so you don’t get the afternoon sun,m which can be good. But you do miss the sunset.
Great spot for kids to run around while you have dinner.

Great place to go... If you want an absolutely miserable dining experience. Brought out the wrong food and then would not swap it. The waiter couldn't care less. Definitely would not recommend!

Great night out! Was entertained by the Glenelg footy team training! Meal was lovely! Service great! Great atmosphere!

Great for where you are and how much you pay. $15 schnitty night was worth the money paid. Good chicken schnitz with average salad and good chips! Just $3 extra and the Dianne sauce on the side was fair.
A good experience watching the Glenelg footy team train.

Good meal, make sure the management don't put you near the door to the outside on a cold wet and windy night, we felt we were dinning in the south pole. Meal was satisfying.

Good meal and great service. If you have not tried it give it ago. A bit painfully getting into the car park off brighten road coming from down south.

Good family friendly relaxed atmosphere and the outdoor seating area overlooking the Glenelg oval is quite nice which i think would be even better at night if they turn on the fairy lights. The food is of pretty good quality, generous serves and quite reasonable prices. Kind of brought back memories to be quite honest as I used to go to school next door and quite often used the oval to play sports. 20 odd years ago seems like so long ago😎

Dinner with the family and absolutely loved it. Vegetarian pizza got tick of approval from vegetarian wife, and the rest of us enjoyed our meals also. Fresh garlic bread was delicious. As a bonus we got to see some training on the oval. Fantastic and friendly service

Decided to have lunch here. The panko crumbed prawns were beautifully cooked. And the corned silverside senior's meal was also delicious. Staff were very helpful with my sight impaired lunch companion.

Close to my heart as my Grandpa used to practically live here. Go the Tigers! Was too busy to get a table when we went so that was a good thing. We will book next time. Great meals but you do pay $$$ for them. Good place to go for a change if your looking for something different.

Clean and comfortable club we were excited to try the food so we ordered steak and chips and lamb shanks with red wine jus. The steak was well cooked infact best medium rare all the way through I've had in a while, sadly both meals stopped there. The chips were stone cold, the red wine jus was a watery mix of something, the beans had pepper over them, no good for my wife who doesn't eat pepper. Best part of the entire experience was the glass of bottled wine. Chips are not difficult to cook, in fact only thing they need to be is hot, such a simple fix!. Shout out to the pepper gravy, it was great!
