Whoever the guy with a ponytail and glasses is at the bar with theb8 ball tablea is a big NO! He poured my shot in a plastic shot glass amd as he was moving it to a bigger glass cup the shot glass fell in and he went in with his fingers to fish it out. And when I said I didn't want the drink he goes "but I didn't even touch it the drink with my fingers, you guys haven't been to this bar, I can tell!!!"... hygine! yuck!

Went here for lunch the other day. Ordered beef schnitzel and was really impressed and couldn’t fault anything. This place is everything a pub should be. The staff were really nice as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone and go back. Pokies were pumping as well which is good to see! Good job guys don’t normally do these reviews things but felt like I had to :)

Waited hour and a half for our lunch meals of 2 roasts and atlantic salmon, and needed to ask the question why the delay, were told there coming. When they eventually arrived mine wasn't there and was apologised and she said the wrong one was prepared. I ordered the special which was grilled bara on veg!!! By the time mine came everybody else had finished. Was very ordinary.

Very pretentious pub menu now with the new chef. The price doesn’t reflect pub’s food anymore. Paste for over $30, daily roast $30! If the customers want fine dining food, we will go to fine dining restaurants with table service and classy ambiance, not in an old tacky pub. The price for the steak without chips anymore, super expensive. Much better value at steakhouse with better cut and cook. Bring back the classic pub food and price.

Tried out the new menu at the Glynde I got to be honest … the schnitzel was very tasty but the size of it has shrunk .. and the salad is just green leaf’s with an odd dressing sauce which doesn’t go together … it was disappointing to see and made the meal look very dull and lacks of colour. The previous chef also had the size of the schnitzel right it was value for money .. now it’s not

Such a brilliant hotel. They cater for every person who walks in the doors. Chicken Parmy deal for $25 with a beer, absolutely love having this place so close to home. 2 beautiful 8 ball tables and live music. Such a great pub

Some friends and I went to the glynde yesterday for Mother’s Day the service was amazing the young male who showed us to our table was so well dressed and very polite great manners the elder male was the same extremely polite the food was amazing first class and well priced for a family to enjoy the decor was outdated but clean could have done with larger tables and comfortable chairs but over all a fantastic experience will definitely recommend the glynde to many others will definitely be back Thankyou Jo dunn

My wife and I have always enjoyed a great night out at this pub for many years. Unfortunately, we recently visited and didn't realize there must have been a change of ownership. Totally different staff and different menu which is fine as we are always open minded to see if the food measures up to how we have always remembered it. Sadly, the food we had ordered which was satay chicken for an entrée followed by a small pizza and fish chips as our mains. We noticed that other people who had arrived later than us received and had eaten while we were still waiting for our mains. When the entrée arrived the satay chicken was actually really awful which is a shame as it is relatively easy to make. We noticed that the wrong spices had been added and were over used and out of balance. This might sound like someone being pretentious but seriously it was really bad. The mains didn't arrive until I asked the waiter and show them we had been waiting for an hour. During this time we had noticed a nearby guest order a steak dinner and were already eating. The waiter went into the kitchen and took our food out of their warmer. It had clearly been waiting there for a long time. The chips cold and soggy and the fish was also cold. The pizza while small had very few toppings on it. We have had good memories at this pub and we are sad that the new kitchen staff are not up to a normal pub standard. Used to be one of the best food pubs in northern Adelaide. Unless they make significant improvements, we won't be coming back.

My son took me here as an impromptu dinner and it was so good. The food sizes are generous, the chips are crisp and crunchy and the salads light and fresh. The staff are friendly and efficient. They also kept a gentle eye on the masks. A friendly reminder that you'd forgotten to put your mask.

How disappointing is the new menu! We booked for dinner, took one look and ended up going across the road to Brunelli's. There was not one thing on the menu that I liked and it was so overpriced. One of our favourite and regular places to eat is now off our list.

Had a Chicken Schnitzel, if you feel like being violently unwell later on that night I can recommend the unsafe food preparation of The Gylnde hotel.

Food was average at best chicken schnitzel was dry the surf and turf topping was ordinary. Price was reasonable but still not great. My partner has barramundi three very small peices and not good value. Sorry but don't recommend this to eat.

Fantastic food, praise from a table of 8. Kelly was also brilliant as she coached young David , doing his best to navigate the food and drink orders. Also a very clean and presentable place to enjoy a meal with friends. Cheers

Despite not visiting this place for a while, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food. The atmosphere and decor seemed a bit dated and dull, but the quality of the dishes made up for it. I tried the pork sando, featuring a crispy bun, flavourful pork, onion rings, tasty slaw and relish, accompanied by crispy chips. My friends also enjoyed their meals, unanimously agreeing on the great quality of the pub food.

Decor feels a little dated. Staff were great! Accommodated kids well. Lots to choose from on the menu. We had 12 on the table with a variety of meals. They all looked great well presented, well cooked and prepared. Would return. Understandably kitchens are under the pump and with only 2 chefs on, i believe they catered well. 👍😊

Came here for a sneaky lunch. Prices are not cheap, but that's okay, because the food was superb. Fresh crisp salad, beautifully cooked chicken schnitzels and chips, garlic prawn sauce was full of flavour and pretty sure they were SA prawns on top too. Had a side of veg and it was also delicious. Highly recommend.

A friend and I went to the Glynde Hotel for a pub meal for our dinner. The service was pretty quick even, though it wasn't a busy night. They have a nice menu to choose from with a nice variety of foods to choose from. It was a very hot day outside but luckily inside the dining room it was lovely and cool. Unlike many other places which restrict the use of air-conditioning, the Glynde was very comfortable to be in.
