The Grand Kiama Reviews
We stayed in Kiama for two nights at the Nova Kiama Hotel. we ate both evenings in the restaurant at the Grand Hotel just 40 meters from our hotel.
On both occasions the meals were outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection, the flavour and presentation were amazing. We've travelled extensively and the food wad among the best we've experienced.
Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed the food at the Grand Kiama restaurant and bar! The ambiance was delightful, the service impeccable, and the food truly lived up to its reputation. A fantastic spot for a satisfying lunch; we'll definitely be returning for more culinary delights.
The only point for improvement is that the Cesar salad sauce tasted like too much anchovies, I think the balance could improve.

We chose the steak and schnitzel special - meals were served with delicious chips and a simple salad. Mushroom sauce on the side (choose your pub favourite). Nice glass of house wine. Great value! Lovely food. Lost one star on atmosphere just because it was a bit noisy, which limited conversation. Recommend!

Visited again last night .. great service from Nina and the Team and the food was very good - fresh, excellent portions and well priced. Highly recommended.

The dining & the pub is okay? We haven’t done anything there but the accommodation is kinda scary. It does the job but I would just say to get better rooms even if it adds up to the bill. You get what you pay for.

Solid traditional pub. Really great food- southern fried chicken tacos were super moist- and traditional pub but with the nice modern touches (I.e. no sticky carpet!). Hosted the UFC fights, lines could be a bit long at the bar but normal for how busy it was. Staff were absolutely delightful though!

Nice classic pub. Good fit out with reasonably priced beers. Could use a couple nicer outdoor table and chair settings. But it's a nice spot for an arvo beer and isn't too packed as it's a bit back from the main drag.

Main complaint was the thrice cooked chips. New to the area we think we’d try a “local” pub. Very disappointed in the food.

Lovely old pub, decorated with a mix of old and new. Great food, the steaks were cooked perfectly.

I've kind of "made the rounds" of all the bars in Kiama since I moved here a year ago. All the others are sort of missing something. The Leagues Club is like the activity centre at a Nursing Home. Torrie's can be fun, but can get a little methy.
The Grand is as good as you're gonna do in Kiama. The bartenders are all nice and attentive. The food is good and there's often a lively crowd.

If you like staying in the old Australian style pub this is your place . We stayed for Easter great food, great friendly service and for the price in Kiama the accommodation is goes well . If your fussy and like everything modern go else where

Friday night. Quiet but staff amazingly friendly. Can't complain about the service very helpful.
Quiet pub which was actually nice.

Food was economical and tasty!!! Two had the steak special - cooked as requested! I had the GF Salmon bowl, absolutely delicious! The three year old had the kid’s pasta and it had real bolognese sauce, not tomato sauce! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Fellow patrons were lovely and very tolerant of the three year old❤️ great night at the Grand! Thank you!

Food ok but property needs more renovation. Toilet disinfectant smell was a bit off putting wafting into dining room.

Don't get the Pizza. Very memorable for all the wrong reasons.
I gave 3 stars because I had a steack there on another day and it was very nice

Delicious schnitzel and very generous portion too. Needed a little more seasoning, but other than that the food was great and the atmosphere of the pub is nice.
