We were travelling interstate and had been there several times before when in the Coffs area. Wife booked ahead and received confirmation of booking but when we arrived couldn't find our table. Went to bar to ask and were ignored by several staff. Decided to go elsewhere and went to cancel our booking to discover they had cancelled to booking sometime after we had booked it. Could have gotten a walk in table but on principle went elsewhere.
As it was for a Sunday night, it seemed very noisy and unpleasent, noise easily travelling through from the dancefloor into the dining room. Can't comment on much else, but used to be quite a pleasent venue.

We travel 20 km to enjoy Guinness, once a week.
Our experience with the food has been hit and miss. I won't go into specifics as we dealt with it directly to the chef. Although we sent back one plate of food almost untouched over $25. It was received by an apology but with no offer of a refund or a complementary drink.Thats ok by me really, it's their house policy and I am ok with that. I will keep coming back. Top spot check it for yourself. Haha the pinball machines are ace.

We popped in for the nostalgia factor more than anything. This was our go to many, many years ago when I was much younger.
The food was average. Standard pub fare but a bit overpriced for what it is. I suspect this is because you are a bit trapped on that side of town & there are no other options if you are already there.
The staff were all lovely. They all deserve a pay rise for dealing with the drunks I am sure.
Sadly, the atmosphere is lacking these days. They seem more focused on poker machines than they used to be so there is constant noise from those. At least you can no longer smoke inside so we did not go home smelling of stale ciggie smoke like we used to back in the day!

Went for lunch.
Order, served, eaten with in an hour.
The kids chips and tenders were a big serving.
$39 mixed smoked meat tray was delicious.
Herb and garlic crusted chicken supreme was a great serving.
Everything was perfectly cooked, service was fantastic, music wasn't too loud and a great mix of the classics.

We came to Coffs Harbor from Melbourne over Easter, what a sensational pub. Food outstanding and the bar had every beer on tap. Young staff in bistro were amazing. Would definitely recommend

We came here while on a road trip, the staff are amazing and friendly, however the food let us down this time, I (Laura) have been here a few times the food is hit and miss, this time my steak was over cooked the salad only had a drizzle of dressing so most of it was plane and no taste! the pasta was lacking seasoning, it was school holidays so not sure what staff they had, great live music though and a good vibe

We are on holidays and found this little gem of a place by accident and happened to see the Inxs Tribute Band 🎸 🥁 🎤 🎶 as well.They were awesome 👌 Atmosphere was energetic and fun 😀

Very disappointed. We were there early when it wasn't overly busy. The older lady working in the restaurant has the worst customer service I've ever seen. She made my friends daughter cry, ridiculed one of my other friends for asking if her buzzer was working as mine wasn't (and my food was ready when she ordered before me). And she forcibly rearranged the tables our children were sitting at cos they all wanted to sit at one table.. even though they fit more of them around the one big table. Food was over priced and bland or burnt. $26 for 1 piece of frozen fish that was mostly crumb, and don't order the kids burger. Awful experience. We will never be back..

This place is insanely big and has everything for a good night! Massive selection of beer on tap, huge food menu, live music, arcade games, couch corner, members discounts, rad decorations and VIP room where you can still smoke! Great location near the beach with a funky chilled vibe. You won’t be disappointed enjoying a drink here!

Sweaty sauna, overcooked steak. $39 for a “scotch fillet” (aka rump). With these prices I would expect them to run the ac. I thought wrong. Sitting here is a Sauna. eating me “medium rare” (aka cooked in the depths of hell) steak. Looks like the chef got his qualifications out of a weetbix box. Pretty disappointed since they took away all their “members meals” at dinner time and we are forced to pay a premium for a sub par road kill grilled within an inch of its life.

Staying in Coffs Harbour for the night and needed a nice, down to earth quality meal for dinner and found this place wasn’t too far from our resort. Headed down and there was a band on that was great and the food was amazing. Unfortunately the huge let down was how disappointing the staff were along with the security guards checking ID. Not friendly at all. The bar tender that served us just looked cranky and like he didn’t want to even be there, same with the staff in the bistro part. Not sure if this was just an off night for them or it’s a common occurrence however given that Coffs is a very large tourist spot you would think that it would be a bit more friendlier.
Overall though the experience was great. Definitely needs more parking spaces as it is quite clearly a popular place.

Stayed at motel. Bloody brilliant. 5 stars. 60s-70s style but abs. spotless. Food was ok too.

Rocking place for a drink or game of pool, pinball, races or pokies.
Band rehearsal while we had a fee games which we would have enjoyed to hung around for too.

Pizza taste like Coles frozen pizza with tomato sauce and extra cheese. Absolutely terrible. Service and atmosphere is awesome. The singer was really chill and had an awesome vibe.

Our steak was cooked really nicely. The whole family shared the mega sundae which was fun - pretty much a punnet of ice creams mixed with lollies! Did think it was a bit overpriced for collecting your own meals and cutlery.
Shame that the trivia in the next room had to have its sound pumped through the whole venue.

Lucy the bartender is absolutely fabulous and always goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Rhia is also amazing! Both girls are such an asset to the business and they are lucky to have them.

Is places awesome a bit of a mission to get to from the city but definitely worth it everyone seem to be friendly staff were awesome. Good selection of beers and the staff can do up a good cocktail too not dimension the Frozen drinks. It was full of every walk of life everyone seemed welcome happy there was no arguments people seem to really enjoy the atmosphere and the lounge area at the back was fantastic idea just to sit back and watch everyone dance and have a good time some could say it's a little place to judge the rest but I took it as a spot to enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy a quiet drink thanks we will definitely be back

I ordered a lamb salad... Absolutely dreadful. The salad was aok. The lamb was just fat off cuts, obviously left over from last night. My dog might of been happy? Fried fat who knows? This attempt at a lamb salad was just woeful. When I notified the bar staff, they couldn't of cared less. The attitude was amazing. Just like the lamb... Woeful!!! Well Done the Hoey Moey you have finally motivated me into writing a Google review..

I highly recommend the Hoey Moey...
To Robyn and her team and to all the staff that looked after us in the VIP Room for my son, daughter in-law and guests after their marriage on Diggers Beach...
The ambiance is trendy yet very comfortable.
Outstanding service, the food was truly exceptional, the function menu was awesome giving us the opportunity to choose a variety of dishes for all different tastes and I must say my favourite was Salt & Pepper Squid Skewers..
I can’t say enough good things about the service and how the staff is incredibly accommodating for minor changes and go the extra mile, even having the courtesy bus pick us up from the resort and drop us back, and to ensure we were all happy and enjoyed our time at the Hoey Moey..
Thank you once again Robyn for everything you did and it was lovely that you called the next day to see how everything went just adding that extra touch..

I enjoyed a lovely evening seeing Daryl Braithwaite perform with his band. Great entertainment, fantastic Venue. I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of The Hoey Moey Staff and their Security Crew. I had a simple Margarita Pizza. Highly Recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

Great spot. Fantastic array of beers on tap and beer specials. The smoked platter is huge and good for two to three people. Great flavours and the beans are amazing.

Great pub food with an extensive selection of beer on tap. Kid friendly with a kids play area. We had $12 ribs on a Saturday night - it was such good value we returned on Sunday for the $5 sirloin with salad and chips. Plenty of on street parking nearby Highly recommended!

Good service and was very quick. We did order at 5pm so I guess we received our meals promptly.
Ordered the cheesy chilli and bacon garlic bread. Generous 4 pieces with plenty of toppings.
Next was chicken parmi. Huge portion and the toppings were generous.
BBQ meatlovers pizza was also a good size with plenty of toppings.
Definitely a good place to go. Although the table we picked was next to a large family with kids so a bit noisy.

Food is terrrrrrible and over priced. My steak was $38 and average at best. My partners ribs were inedible and served with the gluggiest coleslaw and what appeared to be packet mix mac n cheese also $38. Total price was $76 for the worst pub meal of our lives. Definitely won’t be coming back in this life time. Such a shame for Coffs

After staying here for a short week, most of the staff here are friendly and will guide you to check in.
In terms of accommodation, it is not cheap. Living in a six-person mixed-gender room costs 196 Australian dollars a week, and there is no refund after booking.
There is no heating in the six-person room, the room is very cold, and the rooms and toilets of consecutive guests will not be cleaned
The food here is not bad, but seems very expensive.
