We went to Edgar's Inn on Easter Sunday to have a low key lunch for my daughter's 21st. The booking process was simple and worked. The food was great pub fare and drinks were a mixture of locally crafted Canberra beers, wines and cocktails. The service was professional, courteous and efficient. They even helped with topping a home-brought cake. I cannot thank them enough for making the event special for my daughter and family. Highly recommend Edgar's Inn for any planned activity. Just chat to them, they are flexible and willing to help. Thanks crew of Edgar's. Steve

We took the $120 pp feed me option and was very happy with the selection. The food was fresh, interesting and delicious. Loved the tofu pumpkin tortellini, duck skewers , char grilled prawns, amazing steak. The service was excellent, each food offering was explained and the pace of delivery was conducive to a relaxing meal. An excellent evening, I’ll certainly be coming back.

We love the feed me menu .. the food is amazing and the we always find great service. The Inn is one of our favourite restaurants in Canberra!

We enjoyed a fantastic night at the Rocky Horror burlesque night. The entertainment was great and the staff were very friendly. The set menu was tasty, we were still a bit hungry though. For the price I have no complaints but would prefer to have paid a bit more for more food.

This is one of Canberras hidden gems. Had three visits this year simply because it’s a restaurant that is all about spectacular food and a great experience - the best we have had in the region. I highly recommend you choose the just feed me option and the chefs will check on your tastes and present you a great selection of dishes that will also represent great value in fine dining. Oh, and the bar knows how to make killer cocktails. Highly recommended!

There isn't service like this anywhere else I've ever eaten. Started at the bar to watch the grill go up and down... so cool. We then sat down to eat, and the booths are so comfy for such a nice restaurant, I was absolutely lounged, lol. The manager Adam came and sat with us and we had a wonderful chat and he gave my family some stellar wine recommendations, but I was driving. Told Adam this, and he informed me they have low alcohol cocktails for deso's like me!!!! wth never heard of that, so yum and smart. Adam - you're accepted into my family now.
We had a set menu, and I'm so used to set menus with tiny tasters for a million bucks, but we rolled out of the restaurant, so much good food!!!!!! I've had lamb shoulder for 2 days in a row because my dad tried to recreate it the next day.... not quite the same haha.
Such a cool vibe, will be coming back for the outside terrace area in the summer for the full strength cocktails. Thank you, Adam and the Inn!!!!!

Such a lovely restaurant tucked away in Ainslie . Friendly , professional staff , amazing food topped off with a cosy atmosphere . Highly recommend .

Nothing short of a great experience here. Staff is so warm and friendly, the head chef is very knowledgeable and the food and wine was outstanding! Love the layout being able to see all the chefs and cooks work together. Will be back!!

I was genuinely looking forward to trying this restaurant so booked for a special occasion, our anniversary. What a major disappointment. Terrible service: disengaged, slow, no information about the menu, waiters more interested in chatting to their own friends; below average food; no ambience whatsoever - at least 10 times people going through a door felt OK pushing up against my partner so closely they were practically in his lap despite another door 3m away - and the prices are ridiculous for what you get. My 2 glasses of white, a chardonnay and a pinot gris, were both blah, my partner's red luckily was much better. We had 2 entrées, neither of which was exciting or showed any flair (the scallops and the flatbread with taramasalata). For the mains I had the fish (Murray cod) and my partner the beef (short rib), and neither would be acceptable in a good restaurant. It's extremely rare for us to say no to dessert but we saw absolutely no reason to stay. Maybe they've lost the chef they started off with. We'd have been better off getting pizzas from Mama Dough downstairs.

I have been here twice with some friends and food was amazing both times. The service is incredible too! Highly recommended their ribeye steak. I think it's one of the best steaks I have ever had. I will surely go back.

Had a wonderful night at the Rocky Horror show. Great atmosphere, friendly staff,
talented performers and delicious cocktails. The meal was limited due to a show night. I am looking forward to trying your usual menu.

Great atmosphere and service. Food selection a little limited and not suited for sharing over drinks, but to be fair we were there for the wine bar not dining.

Food was delicious. Loved the scallop, buratta and the bread. Mains were good too.
The service was weirdly pushy though and the waiter kept trying to convince us to order a different drink and I don't know why? I.e. I'd try order a Pinot Grigio and he'd try convince me to order a totally different wine (more expensive), same when I tried to order the cocktail I wanted. Was a bit pushy and kinda annoying as I know what my preferences are

This has to be one of the best restaurants around.
Food is exceptional. Service first class. Drinks are more than great. Wine list is a stand out. watching the kitchen out of the corner of your eye shows a team in action
Reckon I will sell up and move closer.

Best steak in Canberra hands down. If you haven't been here and had the 'tri tip 5+ steak' then I suggest you head on down. Great atomsphere and customer service is always second the none. Thank me later!

Beautiful service to go with a delicious Feed me meal. Loved our meal but the lovely service really made it a special girls night. The setting was great, moody with enough character to feel relaxed and comfortable but not to overwhelm.
The lamb shoulder was amazing and we ate the plate bare! recommend Wakefield for a couple or a group - as long as your prepared for a great night!
