The Intersection Tavern Reviews
We hired out the sky terrace for a family function and it was great. The food was delicious and the bar staff were helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend considering the Intersection for parties and events.

We had Mothers' day dinner on Sunday. All was good from service to food. Only average thing is there is no lift to go upstairs. The tavern has been around for many years, pokies crank, new tv's on every wall, but no lift. Was a slow pace getting my mum upstairs. Seriously, drop 100k worst case and add a lift in. You will see more patronage from families who wish to bring their elderly parents, or disabled friends for a meal.

We celebrated a 60th Birthday in the function room upstairs together with 120 guests. The food and service was absolutely on point. Special thanks to Kelly who organized the event with ease. The party was a hit !

We attended for lunch on Tuesday. It was pouring rain, and unfortunately I slipped on the tiled floor as I walked in the front door at the Tavern. I didn’t make a fuss at the time, but my fall obviously didn’t go unnoticed. The girl on reception obviously saw my fall, and without me asking, she arranged Stacey to attend the restaurant area to give me first aid. We were very impressed by that. Stacey was very attentive and disinfected and bandaged the graze on my arm. She went above and beyond.
The food was delicious and the bar staff were lovely. The air-conditioning was a little cool though.

Unfortunately quite a disappointing experience. Meal size is good, it looks good but once you start eating... We had a chicken schnitzel with fries and salad. The schnitzel was OK but had far too much breading, also at the end I had a few bites that almost tasted like the meat was off. The fries... Oh wow, I really eat a lot of salt and usually I always add extra salt when I get a meal but that definitely wasn't necessary this time. It was on the edge, even for me. The salad was the usual combination of loveless premixed leaves with the cheapest premixed dressing from the discounter. And the sauce, well that's always a tough one here in Australia. Somehow my taste buds and the sauces in this country are simply not compatible, and I've already lowered my expectations, but this one was clearly below average. All in all it wasn't a catastrophe but clearly below average.
Ps: no members pay more, 10% extra on Sundays. Of course.

This has to be one of the best pubs in Sydney. Food is great with a really varied menu. Staff are friendly and the place is lovely and clean with a fresh feel about it. A benchmark for all other pubs to be judged by.

The place is nice, staff were amazing.
It was raining but they had the aircon on and it was freezing in the bistro so we went to have a look at the sky terrace which is suppose to be an outside/inside dining area was alot warmer than it was in the bistro.
Food was lovely wasn't a fan of the Country chicken burger, salt n pepper squid was nice but arrived cold as I think they had timing wrong with orders my daughter loved the chicken nuggets which came with free ice cream and soda (Wednesdays Children U12 eat free) my partner loved the 400g large panko crumbed Chicken schnitzel

The meals here are done right! From the mouthwatering appetizers to the hearty mains, every dish is crafted with care and flavour. The shared experience adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the already fantastic food. It's definitely a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming atmosphere

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I haven't been there for 30 years and what a difference. It's a great venue

Really great pub food with a bigger variety than most pubs in the area. Also just a really good looking pub inside as well. Clean and nice atmosphere

Never had a bad meal here. Lunch special at great price and not skinny on quality. Cannot fault anything that was served. Food was as tasty as it looked. Staff was friendly and efficient. Overall a very pleasant meal.

My Fiancè and I had our engagement in the Sky Terrace. Everything was absolutely fantastic, we had 100 people and everyone raved about the venue, food and service. The staff were great from before the event through to the end of the night. Everyone was extremely accommodating and the food was incredible. We opted for the premium canape package and there was so much food and food left over. Overall, amazing event & very memorable. Thank you to Kelly, Stacey and the whole team at the Intersection for everything 🙏 we'll definitely be back

Just like most of the other reviews we were thoroughly impressed with the Intersection Tavern. The staff were all extremely friendly and the manager, Neil, was very professional and attentive to every detail and every customer. The service was honestly unparalleled. It was a mixed crowd of young, old, families and sports enthusiasts. The food was good, the portions generous and the prices reasonable. We had the salmon stack, rump steak and kids boscaiola. Looking at the tables around us it seems everyone else was very happy with the food and service. 5 stars all round. My only suggestions would be to have a bit more of a variety of tap beer and a courtesy bus wouldn't go astray either. Thank you Intersection Tavern for a great night, we'll definitely be back.

I went there with family for dinner, upstairs is nice for family. Good choice of menu. The facilities needs bit of freshness, price is ok.

I was hesitant to try the intersection as it doesn’t look very inviting from the outside but we live walking distance and decided to take the kids for pizza night. I was so pleasantly surprised when we went upstairs. Nice decor and atmosphere. Family friendly and the food is great. The food and drink specials are seriously good. Happy hours and $15 wood fired pizzas. A great find and is now our local for an early dinner with the kiddos. Honestly we ordered 2 pizzas for the family and had 2 drinks and our bill was less than $50. Unheard of!

I held my 21st Birthday at the intersection, It was a lovely function space that accomodated for a good number of people with heaps of space still to move. The food was amazing and fresh, with plently to go around. The service of the workers was beautiful on the night. To Highlight Kelly and Jackson who coordinate the function before and on the night were amazing- so accomodating and always keeping me and my wants in mind, I will be back again for another function in future!!

Hi Team! What a fantastic 40th birthday celebration hubby and I just had on the weekend in the Sky Terrace Room at Intersection Tavern 🎉🎂❤️ I can't believe it's over haha! A massive thank you to all the staff for their professionalism, their attention to detail and for their amazing customer service. A special mention has to go to Kelly the events manager and Neil the manager of the venue, you guys are super stars, so easy to deal with throughout the planning and on the night and so accommodating with our requests. Plus checking in on us throughout the night and after the event, shows your dedication to your customers and ensures a happy and successful event. And that is exactly what our event was!! Thank you again!

Had the parmigiana schnitzel, seafood basket and double beef cheese and bacon burger. Food was nice, nothing out of this world, probably on par with other pubs. Service was fantastic and all staff encountered were super friendly and nice. Plenty of car park available and good location. Food was a 4, an extra 1 star for the great service.

Had my daughter's 16th Birthday party at the intersection venue area with the buffet option and i can't speak highly enough about the venue, staff and organizer Kelly were very attentive to all our needs. My daughter, family and friends were pleasantly surprised of the quality and quantity of the food. It was a very memorable moment and thank you to everyone that helped make it a fantastic night.

Good food. I had the nachos. They were tasty and not too chilli hot. You can order at the bar and at your table. The service there was lovely. They were happy to change the tv to a different sport. The soft drink on the hose was $4.90 which is very expensive. We also had a great spot to have my pram and baby.

Disgusted with the service from the bar section down stairs. Celebrating a birthday upstairs & got advised a few minutes before 9:30pm the bar was closing - if we would like a drink to order now. Went to the top bar & got ignored.
Went down stairs & security drinking a drink & advised the lady on shift to come serve. Security guard said to the girl "You know I can't serve". The girl comes up to the counter to serve me very happily then rudely asked for ID & was not looking for my D.O.B only 10/15 seconds later.

Came to this place for lunch today. the food was ok.
But the people(customer) was terrible.
The woman in this photo, she wanted a nice and clean table for herself. She picked up the used cup from somebody walked pass my table and dropped off at my table and walked away! Reminder to everyone here when you see this woman again! She is selfish a Karen!!

Absolutely worse schnitzel I have ever had. Hardly any chicken, mostly breadcrumbs and oil. Couldn’t eat it. It also took the bartender 28 minutes to make an espresso martini whilst there were not many other customers in the venue. When I politely asked how much longer he just nodded.

Absolutely love this place! It's my local pub and I couldn't be happier it's just around the corner. The food, staff and atmosphere is second to none. The chicken parmi is a must everytime we go!
The staff are always incredibly friendly, fun and genuinely engage with you.
Always love coming here! Great happy hour as well!
PS bring back the pork knuckle!!
