Went in for a beer for my brother's 18th (On a Sunday night) and was treated by an amazing atmosphere, staff and was accompanied by some amazing acoustic artist singing some tunes. Highly Recommened

This venue is great for a meal and a good night out. They have a large menu selection and the meals were very well priced. Everyone was very happy with their meals which were very well presented as well as being a generous serving size. There was live music and the venue had an upbeat, party atmosphere.

The usual hangout and official meeting spot for Apex Club of Toowoomba. Being a member of Apex Club Philippines, I came here at their invite. Got treated like a regular. Enjoyed the friendly and homey atmosphere of the pub and also enjoyed the fine selection of their beers and the good food!

Probably the worst Irish pub I've ever been to. The food is very tasty. The live music, however, is very average and loud, and the vibe is just not it. It didn't feel like I was at an Irish pub. And a tip for the lady who took my order: if I ask you if there is a card surcharge, it is okay to say 'I don't know'. It leaves a very bitter taste if you say that there isn't one, and I still get charged a surcharge.

Our entree was amazing its a shame about the main dishes. Gritty Peas on the beef pie and the Kilkenny chicken sort of tasted very earthy. The blue cheese sauce was soooo watered down it ruined the entire dish. 2 band playing at once through dinner service and a constant banking door made it extremely hard to enjoy our night out. First time in over 8 months and it will be our last time at the Irish.

I’ve been to multiple pubs and clubs in 3 different states and 2 countries and I’ve never felt as unsafe as I did at the Irish, a group of men trying to beat one man? People stealing others belongings and the rudeness and entitlement of the staff there is next level. Such a disappointment and will never be back unless you sort your safety out!

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday hiring the Tara Room. The staff were so helpful in insuring it was set up and presented well. The atmosphere was great. Room clean tidy and ready to go and staff extremely helpful. It was a great night and I am grateful it was hosted so well. Thank you.

I really like the atmosphere, like the booth's that are different sizes and different rooms. Looking forward to coming back for live music and to check the menu out!!

I just love this place, I've been coming here for years now! When I visit Toowoomba, I head to The Irish for a hearty, tasty meal with affordable lovely wine. Sure, it's a small pub, but you can book a table. The staff are great. I love the casual, relaxed atmosphere.... and great place to rest up, eat up, before a long drive back to Brisbane. Thank you!

I have been here for food 3 times in the last two weeks. Had been recommending this place to everyone. However went there for lunch on Sunday and left pretty unhappy. When we ordered and only after making payment we questioned the total. It was at that point we were told there was an additional $1 charge for takeaway meals and also there was a surcharge for Sunday meals. None of this information was displayed on the menu or on any signs around the establishment to inform of the additional charges. Food took awhile to come out and wasn't overly busy. Food quality was good. Love the sandwich specials.

Have eaten there twice. Lovely pub with character and they have a good menu. The food was excellent, the servings were large and the staff friendly and helpful. Only down side was that the restaurant area was very dark. We will definitely go back.

Great Guinness. Live music scene is frothin here. Try the ring swing game too. If you get it in less than 10 tries then you haven't had enough beers! 😜

Excellent Friday night out. Service from bar staff and food section fantastic. Guitarist in bar area and band in separate section, which made dining very comfortable to enjoy our meals.

Christmas Eve Eve lunch. 20-ish loose-ish cannons at a work outing. We all wait and question when is the appropriate time to leave. When is it my shout? Will anyone notice if I leave before my round? It's a lot of pressure that none of us really know how to handle, other than with more beer. The food here - it's pub food. The steaks are overcooked. The parmis - large. The large parmis are great, never a bad one. Chicken truly is the bread and butter of the Irish. Good enough to make the Grinch happy (pictured). Sirloin steak on special. Sirloin. Of the steaks, it's the least desirable. However. It's christmas and both my wallet and my belt are tight and for a saving of 10 or so dollars, I will accept a second-tier cut. Not to roast my own potatoes, I like to think I am somewhat of a Wiley young fox when it comes to steaks. Always order 1 tier rarer than what you want. Ask for rare and get perfect medium-rare. Bank on the overcooking. My big question mark - why so much salad? With everything? It's a salad with a side of steak. Decidedly not the natural order of things. My mission, my purpose in life is to invert this ratio. So far, this mission, not going so well, but we keep on keeping on - such is the spirit of Christmas.
