We went on a very busy night and first time eating here on a recommendation from the Gluten Free Global APP. I emphasised when placing my order that I was Coeliac. The Staff reassured me and they noted this on my order. I also double checked the fries were done in a separate fryer. The gluten free Chicken Curry was delicious 😋 Great Customer Service !

Went here for the first time tonight. Nice enough place, but definitely on the expensive side, especially if you go for dinner where the exact same items from the classics lunch menu are several dollars more to double the cost for dinner.
Ordered off the regular menu, the 250g sirloin steak, medium, with mash potato, gravy and salad ($38 member price) and orange juice ($5.25). Tasted fresh and was tender and cooked well, but definitely one of the more expensive venues I've visited.

We had a booking for 28 people of family and friends some who had never been before and were very impressed with prices, service and the food. They are very keen to return. Thank you for a wonderful day for my wife’s 70th birthday.

We absolutely love going to the Lions for lunch. Amazing food... Incredibly well priced... The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is always buzzing with happy people!!!Couldn't recommend it enough!

They need to work out a better system with minors and id checks, every time i have been there I have left feeling like a criminal, i understand need to check ids. However, if it exhausting pulling your id out every 5 minutes! As soon as you walk through the door, you order a drink, every single time I went up to order and drink they asked, my partner and I were in the pokie room and we were both stopped 3 times. Like put a stamp on my hand for all I care. It’s just ridiculous when you are trying to enjoy your night and you get a tap on the shoulder every time you move around. It also wouldn’t bother me if the way they asked was polite but they will get in your face like you are doing something wrong.

The greatest sports club I've ever stepped foot into - and by a great margin! Super modern, clean and inviting. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced, ample parking and a great selection of games on offer.
Destined to be a frequent stop in future. If you have a chance you must experience The Lion!

Steak was good. But the chips... I don't know how they let this through. They were all burnt 😅

Stay away from their breakfasts. Second time they've just not bothered to cook the food. Slightly warmed bacon and barely warm raw eggs. Maybe google "bacon and eggs" and try to make it look like that.
The chicken schnitzel is epic !! Changing to 4 because the food is amazing, besides the breakfast.

Sour dough loaf and sea salted butter is a fresh alternative to garlic bread.
The ribs and wings were so filling.

Rump steak was nice. Water cups were not so clean looking, watermarks or stains on them. Friendly staff but really busy weekend took 20 mins to get a latte. There is a play area for kids downstairs. It was OK.

Really good looking place with stunning features. This is a well maintained facility. the staff are plenty and friendly. And the service is super efficient. Ordered dinner and drinks with a starter, moments later our drinks were served and the starter. As soon as the starter was finished, our meals were delivered. Good quality food and reasonably priced for thr size and quality of the meals. The restaurant has a great view of the field.

Our dining experience at the Lion Richlands has always been good. The foods are good. However, we felt like we rushed to finish our meal and out of the table last time we dine there a couple night ago. Will provide details feedback to the catering manager as we have been asked to provide feedback via email. Saying this, we will come back again 😊
We came back again last night, Wednesday, 9/11/2022. We had a lovely time dining in eating yummy foods 😇👍

Ordered oysters Kilpatrick very small oysters filled with bacon the rib-eye on the bone order med/rare was rare and needed a chainsaw to cut it. Tired to pull up the waiters flying buy without success ate it anyway thinking it might get better I was kidding myself , when the waiter returned he asked how the meal was I laughed , Management offered a drink as replacement.,Also you cannot hear the other guests speak over the noise so forget this place if you want a conversation, on to the pokies if that's your thing after putting a large sum of money in them only to get free spins and pay out $13:00 shows you how far the machines are wound back to maximise profit also doing away with the courtesy bus increased profits, overall bad experience do not recommend , there are so many other venues willing to take your money.

On entrance, security asks for ID. If you don’t have ID don’t stress they will let you know which areas is accessible to you. A lot of food available on the menu. Quality of food was average. Customer service was okay. Dessert was absolutely delicious. Presentation of food was beautiful. Parking can be difficult in the evening as a lot of people are out for dinner.

Nice place. Came here on the day before Mother's Day with a big group. The service was very friendly, speedy, and attentive, on a very busy evening.
Food was great, high quality pub foods at fairly reasonable prices.

Newly discovered place for me and have been here twice already. Food and ambience is good and always very busy so a booking is a must! Lunch specials are great for the classic meals and the Asian menu from the Cafe is good too. Will be back again with family soon.

I liked the atmosphere. Steak was not perfect. Pizza was good. And steak for $14 is only for lunch for members. We were there for dinner and we were not member so we paid about $30 for each stake.

Great food and service. The peach an lychee iced tea were delicious. Nachos was good too. Ample undercover parking. Great atmosphere

Great club, atmosphere is good. Food is club worthy. Bit pricey for the main menu but has great cheap lunch deals like steak etc. We had duck spring rolls entree which was ok, pumpkin aracini balls which weren’t that great. Both $15 🙄 Shared pork ribs and chicken wings as main. They were nice, club worthy food… few beers and enjoyed a nice lunch day out

From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we were in for a great night. The staff at the door were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff and food were amazing. The prices were extremely good and we had a terrific night. We will definitely return.

Awesome venue, sensational food and service was excellent. Shout out to an amazing duty manager Adrian who made it his mission to ensure our parties dining experience (and that of 4 children in attendance also) was as wonderful and memorable as it was! Thanks also to a lovely lady named Chrissy from the gaming area who made special effort to make not only us but the children feel welcome. Lastly huge thank you and appreciation to the girls working in the terrific kids club. They were not only patient, respectful, accommodating and easy to deal with, but they related to all of the children so beautifully, making each one feel so special and important. We will definitely be back.

Awesome place to have lunch for great quality and lowest price around!

Tender, juicy and grilled to perfection along with a choice of sides.
Always quick efficient friendly service.
Love coming here for a mid week treat.
It is such a good deal and everyone in the neighbourhood knows about it so it’s quite crowded during lunch service - recommend to come early or late lunch. Last order at 1:30 ish so you have to get seated to order before then.

As we made our way to the cafe, we were left to our own devices. No welcome, no menu, no clue. Confusion was in the air as we tried to figure out where to line up and order our food. And to top it off, their QR code was out of commission. *sigh* But we persevered, and eventually, we made it to the counter. And that's when we found out that there were separate menus at the cafe that we could have ordered from. Talk about a slightly confusing process.
But let's talk about the food, shall we? We ordered a variety of dishes, from garlic prawns to chicken schnitzel to duck spring rolls and even a wagyu burger (allegedly). And let's just say, we were a bit disappointed. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. It was on par with your average sports bar or club in Brisbane. And don't even get us started on the kids play area. With only arcade games, it's definitely not suitable for younger children.
Overall, The Lion Richlands was an okay experience. The atmosphere and decor were definitely a plus, but the service and food fell a bit short. Would we hurry back? Probably not. But hey, if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new, give it a shot! Just make sure to clarify the ordering process beforehand. Amazing food and great atmosphere. It can get quite busy inside so if you struggle with lots of background chatter, opt to sit outside. Can highly recommend the garlic cheesy bread, Calamari and Cajun Half Chicken meal 🤩🤩🤩

Always great for a family dinner. Great selection of meals for all ages. Desserts were fabulous. Highly recommend. Lunch time again. New prices but still great value. Only $13.90. Loads of undercover parking and don't forget to renew your membership to get food and beverage discounts. Great kids club too.
