Your staff is excellent . Very helpful and friendly Except your chefs.
I didn’t complain because I was with friends but my fish was swimming in fat and being diabetic made me ill and my wife’s prawns were way over cooked and bland .

What a great place to hold your next event or function. Great venue, friendly staff and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the nite. Big shout out to Matt for going above and beyond as well as Tyler who was the host with the most, not to mention all the other staff who made the night a hit. Thank you and see you again soon. We were looking for a venue for 40-50 people, we emailed 5 close to us venues, the Lodge was the only reply. So we checked out the venue, good selection of areas to suit, and the one that was suggested, was perfect. Cudos to Andrew and his staff for making sure the night went smoothly, and the food suggestions were perfect. As the night was planned for meet, greet, and finger food with a bar tab, the staff were all over the organisation under direction from Andrew. Many thanks to all of them, and we will recommend to all who ask us for a suggestion for a venue, as I’m sure our guests will also. Thank again for a great night.

We recently had a function here and I can't say enough good things about Matt, who very patiently and understandingly helped me through organising the whole thing. The space was great and we were looked after amazingly. Our platters were delicious too. Thanks for making our event a memorable one!

Went again after 6 months as the last time I went with family it was not a good experience. Today the food taste good and they're very attentive with cleaning the table this time, we didn't wait that long either for our food to arrive. Will go back again and see if this experience is not a once off.

We have eaten here a few times now and we have never been disappointed. I have some food allergies and the chef is always happy to answer questions and make suggestions on the menu. The menu is varied and delicious. We would definitely recommend eating at the lodge.

We enjoyed a family Birthday dinner. Food was excellent, staff welcoming and friendly. Plenty of seating and the establishment is modern and spacious. We will be back!

We came to the lodge for birthday drinks. The cocktail prices are amazing, the vibe is fantastic. We had the most excellent service from all the staff. I would particularly like to thank Robby for making the night memorable.

The Hotel (Bar ) section was quiet and the restaurant had plenty of wait staff. The meal come out in good time. Pricing some item s where a little high but this appears to be the sign every where these days.
The kitchen was clean and chef presented well.

Staff were attentive and friendly. We went for my Mum's 84th birthday. Food was delicious, kangaroo & lamb slightly over cooked.

One spare of the moment decision to visit the Lodge to for dinner made me unwell for three days. My partner and booked a table for 5.30 pm Sunday evening. Location and availability last minute was the deciding factor. We waited for a guy to finish his drink before he placed the glass behind the bar and took us to our table. I mentioned to my partner We should leave and I wish we did. My partner ordered the 400g rib eye MEDIUM RARE and I ordered the salt and pepper squid. Thinking the squid would be the safest option. After a long wait our meals arrived. I was less than impressed. My squid and chips were the same colour (old oil) you could smell and taste it. The salad was tasteless and chips so hot I couldn't eat. My partners steak was practically alive it was disgusting. Obviously the meat was thrown on the grill stone cold without resting to room temperature. Most of the steak was RARE and not once were we asked how our meal was. Upon leaving a young girl was standing near the exit/kitchen and didn't even say goodbye. Absolutely no customer service or care. To top it off as soon as I arrived home I was unwell and it continued for three days. Unless you have an iron gut and love a raw diet I'd advise dining elsewhere. Save your self and $$. Over priced and quality of food is poor.

My parents had their 60th wedding anniversary here. Everyone had a fantastic experience, food, service and wait were all excellent.
They did the little things like turn the music down for speeches etc.
Well done to the staff and thank you for helping making my parents enjoy their special day. I had the Korean chicken wings and they were very delicious. Great place.

Maybe have an option of how much chilli is used in the Nasi Goreng. Otherwise really enjoyed our time and the cleanliness of your hotel. Thankyou we will be back. And the cheesy garlic bread was outstanding.

Matt and the team offered outstanding, friendly service from the moment we walked in to when we departed. The food was served quickly, fresh and hot and enjoyed by all.
Relaxed atmosphere, music was the right volume to enjoy and hold a conversation, cosy booths and comfortable seating at the tables.
We were celebrating a family birthday and staff helped us with the cake and took a family photo. I would definitely recommend The Lodge for a casual meal or celebration.

Just there for lunch. Big-ish group with no booking but was no problem. My wife had the beef stroganoff and I had the nachos. Both were very nice and the whole table said their meals were nice. Quick and friendly service. Keep up the good work, guys! 4.5 Stars

Had the best god damn onion rings ever last night there and a really nice chicken schnitzel. The booths are so comfy and the atmosphere is real nice. I love the old school 1960's style individual lettering of the LODGE signage above the building, I love retro signage and buildings like the 1930's to 1960's era ones that I've seen first hand in the USA. The staff are friendly and the food was delivered quickly too. It's a good place in the northern suburbs to go too.

Had a 30th function at the Lodge. Good size space for as (50 ppl) and great staff attention. Food platters were nice. Sandwich varieties need more 'variety' instead of all being salad, but that's easily fixed with a conversation. Drinks are affordable, and the strawberry cream slushie was a hit.
Only issue: there was another function at the back section, and people would shortcut through our function instead of walking around. Perhaps the ability to close off 'our' entrance to create a visual block.
Would definitely have another function there.

First time, and looks great. Very spacious, bar and dining area looks great. Looks really good for events etc. Food was fresh, hot and served in good timing.
Chicken Schnitzle was delicious, crunchy coating, moist and tender on the inside.
Really good meal. Staff are friendly and made us feel welcomed 🙂👍👍

Came here for a friend's 18th, the drinks were very nice but the food was...well pub food, aren't always a fan of pub food, always feel gross after, but had a good time, got pepper squid.

Attended tonight, haven’t been there in approximately 6 months, always get the Caesar salad add chicken, the salad on its own now is $20 and basically lettuce, chicken was an extra $7 completely dry and tasteless. The kids didn’t eat their cheeseburgers, the meat was disgusting and the pork belly another person ordered was dry. Won’t be back, the food had slipped terribly and if that wasn’t enough, the gentleman with the terribly dye job was an angry old gronk who huffed and puffed about our order.

An amazing day once again ❤️ lunch with the girls was wonderful. The staff perfect and can’t fault Matt the bar manager at all. He always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and always so polite with that infectious smile. Truly love the Lodge. Always a memorable visit 🥰🍺

Always great service and food (just remember to order the Nasi Goreng milder if you don’t like spicy food!). A regular place to visit for us due to the consistency of the good food and we recently came for a birthday with other family and it didn’t disappoint. The staff went out of their way to make it a great night. Such a gem in the north!

A decent pub with ample parking space. Its clear the pub has had a recent redesign and the booths in the bistro area are a nice choice. The drinks were well priced and the beef schnitzels we had were tasty.
However, the menu pricing is varied. Entrees are rather expensive and asking for $7 additional for toppings are quite steep. We were also sat by a table with older clientele that were very loud and disruptive. Staff, for the most part, were inviting. However it's clear that they give preference to returning customers.
Overall, a pleasurable experience. Will trying coming back with a small group for just drinks.
