Zena went out of her way to accomodate our table of 10 when our table booking didn’t go through. She was so friendly, she couldn’t have been nicer. We would love to return.

Wow it was busy when we went today. They had Halloween special event for kids and there was live music too.
It was too busy the people taking our food order did not even recognise our request, as we asked 3 kids spaghetti, but it was charged the big people price (also the sad thing is the special mentioned that Sunday 1 kid's meal is free with full priced menu).
My tbone steak was tough and dry. For $30 steak i expected more of tender meat, but it was a tough one maybe from a sad old cow. Anyways, maybe we come back here again during " not too busy " time.

We used to always come here but didn't for the past couple of month. However last night we went there for dinner and im sure there has a been a change in management because none of the food was upto the level of before. Especially the steak, it had no seasoning and I asked for medium rare, it was rare in some parts, and well done in other parts. It had absolutely no seasoning and was blant tasting. For $35 you would expect a decent steak but it was not good at all. It was very disappointing and definetly won't be coming back as its not to the standard it used to be. The girl at the counter had an attitude too, just an unpleasant experience all together.

Were there last evening there was 10 of us including 2 young kids, we were all very impressed with the service we got from Zena she was so friendly, and nothing was too much bother for her, Thank you so much Zena you made our night perfect.

We are very grateful for this Tavern. Beautiful and tasty food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Variety of food you can choose and great place to catch up with family and friends also for business partner as well.

Was here during the day for a kids party. Good food. Good atmosphere. Play equipment to keep the kids distracted.

Very nice seating area with great food. The portion was quite generous and I am loving the special deals. I ordered a steak with mushroom sauce and it was delicious. Customer service was good too, and the meals were ready at a reasonable time. Parking was convenient too as it's undercover, I avoided getting drenched by the rain.

Veal Schnitzel was dry. Cheesy garlic bread had no garlic. The pork belly bites were dry and tasteless and the Caesar salad had minimal dressing. There was something wrong with every dish I ordered. Never used to be like this. Would never come here again. What a let down.

Three of us in our group ordered the Veal Limone. What a big let down, all three meals came with 2 very small tiny pieces of veal not even 5mm thick with three little garlic prawns. There was no lemon flavour just 2 thin slices of lemon, the prawns were not garlic flavoured and the so called lemon and parsley butter sauce was an oily flavourless mess on the plate which was so runny it dribbled on my shirt and ruined it. The most enjoyable part of that meal was the tomato in the salad and the chips. All three meals cost $34, save your money and go elsewhere OR choose a different meal, what a bloody disgrace.

The food is amazing but its a shame the management at this venue is absolutely appalling. I spoke with Nathan who was rude and obnoxious over the phone when asked about booking a birthday dinner for my daughter. He advised me that ALL under 18 year olds would need to show ID to enter the premises and have their legal guardian with them but then backpedaled when I told him my daughter and her boyfriend attended a dinner a few weeks ago and were never asked as well as not being asked a second time when we came in a couple days ago. The information he gave me contradicted what I was previously told by another staff member and my subsequent emails were never answered by the events coordinator. Very poor form on this venue’s part. Would love to talk to someone higher about this but of course, Nathan couldn’t provide me with any feedback on how to do so. The owner of this venue should definitely be looking into courses for their workers on how to engage with paying customers.

The creamy chicken pesto pasta were very tasty and the ginger ale was amazing. I've been there on a cloudy Sunday along with many times I've visited, but not for ages. The view was also amazing, and people were professional. Good food and good people in there. Will and still be visiting there again one day!

Service and atmosphere for this place is amazing and the food is great but when they are busy, the quality of the food is mehh... it's a hit & miss i guess... I love Marinara Pasta & Sunkist Slushy there though

Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Nice outdoor area. Suitable also for families. Serves food and drinks. We also had coffee and tea and the coffee was very good.

One of the best things about TMTC is you don’t need to sign in like the other clubs, walk straight in and find a seat. Generally you will find a seat whether at lunch or dinner. However if you plan to stay close to your kids near the playground, you’ll need to reserve a table. Alternatively, if you’re brave and confident with your kids, the outdoor terrace is a fabulous area to sit and relax.
The menu offers a variety of food including: pizza, salads, pastas, from the grill, seafood, fried food, tasting boards, kids meals etc
The dishes are quite expensive for the quantity, but the quality is quite well cooked. The lamb cutlet dish includes 3 small lamb cutlets, fries, bit of leaf and a piece of pita for $35. While chicken Oscar include a generous piece of chicken, 2 prawns and generous amount of vegetables for $35. In my opinion both of these dishes at any other pub should cost no more than $28-30.
If you have entertainment book, you can redeem a 2for1 offer which includes a main up to $35.

Jimmy, the individual working the gaming bar on the 13th of June 2024, was the person that made our night. He was so funny, interesting, and provided the best service that I’ve ever seen in any hospitality venue. He single-handedly makes Macarthur Tavern a 5-star venue!

I could not recommend Mac Tav more highly. We have had two 21st birthday parties there and they have been wonderful.
Tracey is a shining light, and is incredibly helpful.
The venue is perfect for our relaxed, casual, and cosy events and the food is divine.
Service is second to none.
Pricing is fantastic value.
Our family visiting from all over Sydney are very impressed and delighted to drive for 2 hours to be at this venue.
Mac Tav is by far the best venue in the Macarthur area.
We will be back for more events.

Food is absolutely terrible.. this is the second opportunity I have had to dine at mac tav in the past 6 months, and was equally dissatisfied as the last visit..

Decided to come back to the Tav after many years away.
The "outside" section is no longer outside, and is a great place to have a drink or a meal.
I ordered the Veal Limone which was quite nice, but not spectatular. The lemon and garlic sauce with butter and parsley was a bit sweet, like it was made with preserved lemons, but the prawns enjoyed swimming in it. 😆
The scotch fillet was a little underdone, but nothing to complain about.
Might come back in the near future to try the pizzas, as they look great.

Came in for dinner during a major UFC bout. Still had some table (minimal) as most were reserved already. Given how packed venue was, it was still easy to order food and get a drink, which was awesome. Food was decent, bit hit or miss (pesto tasted like pumpkin which was random) but overall good.

Beautiful food at the Macarthur tavern. Pesto chicken breast was amazing as was the risotto.
Bar staff were great making a couple of nice cocktails for a birthday dinner.
The venue is massive with lots of great places to sit and relax. We will be back.

Beach vibes.. Nice large outdoor seating areas with tropical modern decor. Service was friendly and and food came out promptly. Not fine dining but we got good value for money.

A very pleasant venue for a quiet beer and a snack on a Tuesday evening. Parking aplenty and seating inside to match. In fact we almost had the place to ourselves. Music thankfully and pleasantly just in the background.

Always drive past but first time inside. What a missed treasure. Outdoor but under shelter area for the kids that kept them busy for hours. Great area for buffet and bar across from each other and friendly staff on arrival. Meals were delicious and kids eat free was a wonderful blessing. Look forward to returning.

A good place for some amazing bar food. The pizza was hand baked and delicious. I really liked the fluffiness of it coupled with the amazing zinger of the vegetables.
The fries were crisp and had a slight acidic taste to it.
The service was nice and the staff were amiable and extremely efficient
Overall, a good place and it was a really nice experience

Absolutely beautiful place! Perfect for kids! Outdoor seating is perfect nice warm cosy heating! Love the food! Pokies area pretty small but good! Will definitely go there again!
