What a great place, friendly locals, great food, huge Parma's

What a great little pub, although has huge beer garden, so not that little.
Friendly staff and lovely meal.
I recommend you go visit and have a drink and a meal.

Went for mother's day, late booking and they accommodated.
Fantastic pub, the food was amazing, portion size was spot on as well as the taste and quality. Prices were more than fair.
Great food options that made it hard to choose but I don't think anything would disappoint.
Definitely going to become my go to pub every visit.
Beer prices were great also, the atmosphere was like an old school pub vibe, great beer garden to match. As well as the employees being friendly and approachable.
Make this your next stop for lunch or dinner.

Went for lunch on the Saturday with the grandchildren and we all enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere! So much so we went back on the Sunday. Different food and not disappointed- Highly recommend

We had a meal there on Sat Night my meal was a yummy lamb shank and mash but my husband had surf and turf and there was not much seafood at all and his steak was very fatty and grisltle he couldnt eat it but they did give his money back on his meal but other than that staff were very friendly especially Sophie!! All up it was a fun place just disappointed in my hubby meal!

This pub is a great new find! We’ll definitely be back again soon! The Parma’s were amazing! Burger meals could be slightly better served up (not in the bowl). Open fire added to the atmosphere.

Parma crust was awesome. Good prices. Great service. Kids $10 mini parmas are huge. Board games available for kids and adults. Nice leather couches to relax in. Free pool table. Jason the owner is a top bloke!

Mr and I were craving a hot dinner with veggies. We were not dissapointed. I had a chicken snitzel.
The pub was warm and comfy.
Loved the decor.

It was such a wonderful venue for a 1st birthday.
Highly recommend. Outside was spacious, and we loved the kids' play area.
My only suggestion would be to may be invest in a couple of industrial fans for outside. On hot days, there is no wind movement.

Haven’t even had my party yet it’s tonight but I can’t speak highly enough of the service, staff. So helpful and obliging. They just want you to have the best time. Watch this space for the final result, I’m sure it will be 10 stars
Had the best night, the staff do their job so well and you can see they love it. Can’t speak highly enough. Don’t look any further for a venue for your function, or just for a casual meal. The food is great and it’s served with a smile. I had 28 people there and everyone was raving about the night.

Great food, the staff were awesome and very accommodating. The little play area was great for the kids! Absolutely will be visiting again!

Food great and large servings. Kids meal came out with adults meals and one adult meal was a steak so it took longer than usual which meant child was waiting for to long. service very friendly and welcoming. Beer garden really nice but unfortunately was untidy and not very clean due to a function the previous night. Highchair was dirty but quickly cleaned when asked by staff. The kids area is great but sadly there was food on the floor which was not great for little ones that pick up everything and put it in their mouth. Would definitely go back again for the food and service and hopefully the beer garden is a bit neater and cleaner as it's a great spot on a warm day/night especially for functions.

First time going to the McIvor tonight, the food was amazing! Came out quickly and tasted great! My partner loved the bushman's parma and the chicken burger was fantastic! To top it all off, the staff are super friendly and welcoming !!

Each and every time I go to the McIvor the experience from the get go is great! Greeted with a smile service is quick and the food is always delicious! Most recent visit was for the family fun day and I must say a huge well done to Jason and Nat! And their team of course, Aisha, Alana and Sophie just to name a few. The staff put together such a great day for the kids so me and my friends could just sit back and relax.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH.
The pub has been in the last 2 weeks taken over by 2 young entrepreneurs who are changing things for the good from what I've seen.
I ordered a chicken parmigiana with fries and veggies and it was exquisite.
The vegies were par boiled to el dente and tossed in a herb butter.
The chicken was hand crumbed in panko, cooked to perfection, topped with sauce , ham and cheese. The crunch of the panko stayed crunchy all through the meal.
BEST THING... Was the chef placed the fries to the side so they too stayed crunchy instead of this new way of putting the fries underneath, making them soggy
All the best guys , I'm sure you'll make a success of it.
Hope to come back in winter when you have the 4 fireplaces roaring.

Delicious, crispy panko crumbed parma. 🤤Tasty chips too. The Saturday deal was $25 for a schooner and a parma. Great value! Veggies were a tad cold, but with such a tasty parma I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Came here recently for lunch with the wife since it's been all done up, wow.
It was amazing if feels so cosy here, the staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. Loved the beer garden where we sat. I had the ribs yummo, wife had the Thai beef salad yummo, We have found a new local again, even walking distance from home lol 😂. Cheers guys Thank you for for our great lunch 😎

Basic pub food and drink offering, "meat and potato" kind of approach so if you have a mate that doesnt like anything outside the norm, they'll feel safe. Good tunes over the sound system.

Awesome service and great meals, atmosphere is lovely any time we visit be it Friday happy hour or Sunday afternoon with the family. Meals are well priced, come out quick and the staff are friendly, professional and happy to have a chat.

An absolute must when in Bendigo. Service is outstanding and the food is very good. A real gem of a place that has that small local pub feel. You will not be disappointed.

A little surprise package. Chef was friendly and can cook! Awesome parmas and steaks. Great atmosphere. Traditional feel pub with a great area out the back that would be great in the warmer weather with a live band. Keep being you guys and don't become uppity
