Went to a party there with high hopes of a good parm. Not only did it take them a about 1.5 hours for food to start to come out BUT they got most of the tables orders wrong. Instead of owning the problem and at least attempting to correct it, the staff were rude. I got a refund, went elsewhere for food and I certainly wont be returning. I'd give 0 or less stars if I could.

Went for lunch there at the Metropolitan Hotel, the food was beautiful & prices were very reasonable plus great quick service, thank you.

Used to be a great Irish pub. But now its just like any other stinky, messy nightclub. Great if you like sticky floors and empty drinks lining the bathroom facilities. I even bought this to the attention of the staff who seemed completely unfazed and yucky cheap shots that were pre made in bottles

They refused entry to me for no reason but let a group of 7 females in before me i recommend CHATER box or the deck the security is much more lenient and chill

Relaxed, unpretentious vibe. Great live music which gives off the feeling that this is where the town really comes alive, especially in the evening. Good value for the food and drinks.

Quite probably the best schnitzels we have ever had. Fantastic toppings and amazingly affordable for the quantities served.

Pugs is alright. Food is a bit expensive, but the food came quick and staff were ok. The food is also ok... would recommend if you dont mind paying a little over for mediocre food.

Possibly the best pub fish and chips I've ever had. Great portion size, great quality and reasonable price. Beers good also

Olivia was very helpful and came up with a solution when an item was not available that showed care, and was really nice and thoughtful. Excellent service. The chicken schnitzel I ordered was delicious, hot and very happy with my experience here.

Nice venue. Good choice of booze. Nice big video screen. Unfortunately the place was full of Collingwood supporters. Thought I'd walked into a Centrelink at first.

Metro is my favourite place to go out in Bendigo for a family dinner. Great food, atmosphere, service and prices. Love the Metro!

Love this venue. Great place to chill out and have a couple of beers with some mates. Love the songs being played here. Good choice of djs.

Hotel wasnt busy when we visited. Staff were very friendly and food was served very quickly. The food were very nicely presented and it was a very good meal.

Had the burger for lunch. Was quite nice. Have had a Parma in the past and that was good also.

Had an amazingly delicious Pinapple Parma here tonight with my family, cannot fault the meal both taste and portion size was perfect! Good quality moist chicken breast with yummy fries and salad.
A MASSIVE dissatisfaction at the end of our meal when I noticed a large black mould build up on the inside of the glass water jug we had been drinking from.
Safe to say, a great experience turned sour really quick. We brought this to the attention of the bar staff who were rude and not helpfull, but the Manager soon came to our table who was apologetic and offered a FREE drink.
As we did not want any more food or drink, we instead received re-embursement of my meal and a drink.
I do hope that they ensure this is not experienced by any other diners in the future.
It was a lovely meal though so I will probably return again.

Glorious day in the sun, having lunch outside in the street eating space.
The manager, didn’t get her name, was so kind. Very hard working. You could tell she knew her job well and enjoyed it. Very good people person.
The food was SO well priced. Barra pan cooked was delicious.

Food was ok, staff were friendly. Tried to get back in later in the evening for a drink and the bouncer was a stereotypical tosser. We have a meal for 20 booked for the next day which we’ll be moving, hope it’s worth it for the bouncer

Food was extremely overpriced for what they offered, had to order a bowl of chips with the burger because it didn't come with them, then they put a handful size on the plate with the burger not a bowl size which is pretty dodgy. Staff were friendly, beers are overpriced also. No justifying the prices with so many options near it.

Fantastic sunny drive to Bendigo for a gig I arrived at the MIGHTY METRO and sat down to a burger, salad and chips for early dinner washed down with an icy cold JD and Coke it was all very tasty ..nomnom.. hot and fresh and very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and efficient, food was out pretty quick, (well done METRO👌) then I loaded in and setup my drums with THE MIGHTY COP THIS BAND Melbourne's premier top 40 club and corporate dance band we started gigging at 11 pm and had the dance floor packed for every song 🎶 until closing it got busier after midnight with buses dropping lots of young crew off and the warm night kept everyone feeling like summer was here! Security guards were both professional and quite friendly, no problems on the night its a testament to a safe, well run hotel with good management. To sum it up the best fun and best gig in over a decade in a GREAT VENUE gotta rate it all as a definite ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Enjoyed lunch for St Patty's Day & really enjoyed the atmosphere, live music & the menu options :). The place was buzzing & a lot of fun, serving green beer & cider was quirky too. Good service, quality food.

Beer is great but it's a lottery with the food. Eaten here 3 times & not once received what I ordered. Fish n chips...fairly simple. Was served a fish wrap. Couldn't eat it.

Been here a few times now and the staff are always great and helpful as well as the food. We love their loaded fries and the parmas are always tasty and very filling. Fantastic job guys.
