The Moe Hotel Reviews
We would all like to thank the management and staff of the Moe Hotel who went out of their way to put lunch on for 30 plus former classmates of a nearby High School that closed several years ago.
The “other” hotel recently closed down due to financial difficulties and left us without a venue.
Kurt and the staff said “not a problem “ and put on a great effort for us.
We enjoyed our time there, and we continued on in the main bar for several hours later.
Some old chums even returned the following day for lunch too!

We stopped past on the way home from camping. Serbice was good. The meals we had were the 1/2 lobster and steak, parma, oysters, and kids spag-bal.
Fair pricing for portion and quailty. I was impressed with a parma that was crispy outside but still tender and juicy inside. The side of peppersauce was hot and deliciously seasoned, went great with the thick chips. Lobster good size right amount of garlic butter. Oysters were a little small and not alive, I assume, a couple of days in the fridge, id recommend killpatric not natural. Everything else was excellent and exactly what you want in a good pub.
Kids area could do with some play equipment or more free games. Very happy we stopped in. Thanks team.

We arrived here at 2pm restaurant was empty but the staff we polite and friendly let us place our orders can't complain about this establishment as they didnt have to service us... Excellent hospitality.

Visited pub for lunch a few weeks back. I very rarely review places, but had to compliment the venue and new kitchen team on the big improvement on meals. Had steak sandwich, it was delicious. If you are looking for a great homestyle meal, this venue ticks the box. Well done.

Very happy we chose the Moe hotel for a casual lunch.
We were greeted by Tess, she was so lovely and accommodating, asked us if we'd prefer a table or a booth, we chose a booth, very comfortable.
We both ordered from the special's board , I had beautifully cooked herb crumbed lamb cutlets delicious, my husband ordered porterhouse with sticky ribs, he also said it was perfect.
A great everyday menu.
Great ambient music in the background.
Even though it was very busy it wasn't noisy and we couldn't have asked for better service.
We'll definitely be going back.

Very average, the service staff we lovley.
Salt n pepper squid was nice, but pork belly very plain n dry and hard looked liked it had been cooked in a sandwich press? The crackle was flat and hard definitely not how pork belly should be cooked.
The crispy asin salad had a nice flavour but agian the pork bites were terrible hard chewy tough not crunch at all actually just not edible. Sorry we won't be returning.

Took my son here last night with my brother.
My son has some minor sensory issues and to say he was made comfortable is an understatement.
We were served for the night by a lovely girl named Cia, great attitude and attention to detail.
Even going so far as making my sons dessert herself as the kitchen was busy.
The meals were very well sized and absolutely lovely, my credits to the kitchen.
All in all a great meal made all the better by a great server, and great food.

This fab pub is my local while I’m here renovating my place for retirement. All young staff are super cool & cheer me up when I come in covered in paint & stressed to the max 😂. Bistro food is excellent quality & huge portions & very well priced & they let you take home leftovers. I love this pub. Please support them as we need this excellent pub in Moe.

The best meals in town, their chef is fantastic, friendly service, there manager Lloyd goes above and beyond every time. He’s an absolute asset to this business!!

Stopped in for a meal after checking serving times,,,, at 801pm, they turned us away as kitchen had stopped service!! Won't be going here until they remedy this!! Must be profiting alot to be turning customers away on a Saturday night at 8pm!!! so,, off to turfside we went,,, where they were most happy to accommodate us!!

Stopped here on the way home from holidays for a Thursday lunch. Lovely food, lovely staff, options for smaller portions, comfy booth to sit in and it was nice and quiet. Perhaps a few more options for vegetarians on the menu would have been good. Other than that, a great lunch!

Our group was disappointed that the lobster on the menu wasn't available due to a shortage of staff, 6 out of 8 of us were going to have it. Then, two of us ordered the lambs fry and bacon, only to be informed that they didn't have any.

Nice, cosy place. I was at the bistro on a Saturday afternoon had a cappuccino. Nice atmosphere and good service. Great place to stop by on the way back home.

My daughter said the meat lovers schnitzel was worth the drive so I had to try it, I was disappointed to find out it wasn't real chicken yet just a chicken patties, the same one you get from Coles for $3,, the meal cost $29 which I wouldn't mind paying for real chicken, to make money you have to spend money and I won't be going back because parmas is all I eat when I go to a pub for a meal, it's a shame as everything else was spot on even my wife's meal was nice she said, too many pubs are changing to these patties and it's only driving away customers, cheers

Moe Hotel has easily become our favourite place for dinner in Moe. Great customer service, beautiful food and good prices. Not a bad experience yet.

Food was delicious. Coffee and desserts were amazing. Fantastic service and prices were very reasonable. My daughter doesn't like much food when we go out but she was very happy and ate lots! Thank you, we will be back.

Food and service was great however for a kid friendly pub which included play area and kids meal options there was no change table making it very hard to change a baby whilst out for dinner.

First time here meals are really nice and the price is acceptable the young man is very friendly and helpful, we will come back

Came for a family lunch, staff were friendly, food was great - had a garlic prawns, yum! - beers were well priced and had an area for the kids to play!
Would come back again!

Been twice now and the food and service was fantastic.
Doesn't look overly inviting from the street but the dining room and inside were super clean and comfortable. Great value for money too.
Will be back.

Beautiful dinner- the best pork belly dinner I have had yet! The wine selection is excellent. And the kitchen was excellent accomodating to meal in the past - being a celiac and alternating the ingredients so I could have the meal I wanted. Highly recommend
