We wanted to go to see the refurb and new menu - I was half way through chemo and needed a day out - the hotel arranged for me to go to a quieter isolated area that was not being used at the time we visited ( how fantastic were they) - the menu is amazing and the hotel really bent over backwards to help and understand - they have small and large meal options which were also great!!!!! The hotel itself is amazing - it’s been updated but none of the history removed (there is heaps of original features). Shout out to Graham who was soooo friendly!!!! Food was amazing - highly recommend this place !!!!!

I take my hat off to all kitchen staff. Nothing like a perfect steak with the best sauce, chips and salad. Perfect order thank you. 🤗 and theres nothing better than a pub meal home delivered. 🍻 🍻 🛌

We are Travelling with the Circus but full Blooded Aussies 💯😊 This pub was exactly what were looking for 😁 Ryan the Bartender knows his stuff ask to try the local drinks the pink gin is Bundaberg own creation.
Absolutely this is the pub to go to, Food great Value for money and the cocktail 🍸 are the best 😁 definitely a must have experience 💯💯💯

Very good pub near the riverfront that has been refurbished. Large spacious dining area. It has a typical pub menu - steaks, parmis, seafood etc - but our 'roast of the day' was anything but typical. A huge pork rib, succulent and delicious flavour, generous crackling, very tasty roasted vegetables and small Yorkshire puddings. Only $24 and washed down with a bottle of Croser for $52 - good value!

This was the BEST damn feed I've had in bundy all year! Seriously. I haven't been enjoying food lately, but this place cooked up the most incredible feast.. my bestie and I were frothing at the mouth with how delicious it was lol.
We ordered garlic bread, chicken and bacon salad, loaded Nachos and the parmi and chips to share . And it did not disappoint. Worth every penny. Compliments to the cook!

The venue, food and entertainment were all fab. Even more so, all of the staff were so warm and accomodating. Had the best time 🍻🥩💫

Staff were amazing. So helpfull. My partner had a minor seizure and they were straight over to help us out. Food was great. Very well priced. Recommend to everyone. We will definitely dine there anytime we're in Rum Country. The Rum marinade chicken wings are so absolutely beautiful. 5 stars all the way👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really nice pub fair. Meals are big and delicious. Good family friendly atmosphere in an old traditional pub setting. Staff are always lovely. QR codes so you have the option of ordering right from your table which im a big fan of. Really enjoyed our meal.

Lovely so long meal at the Old Bundy Tavern. Busy as a 70th birthday gathering. was going on in the big room. We ordered at our food at the bar our, then moved along the bar to order our drinks. Bit of a wait for our meal, but it's not an issue. We all enjoyed our meal and drinks. Cost approx. $43 each

Look, I’m from Sydney. I’m demanding, opinionated and most likely a drain to serve.
This place has the best gravy to schnitty ratio I have had in years. No fluffing about with tiny portions of gravy that you have to ask for more.

It was the first time we had been to the Tavern and everything about the place I just loved it was very busy but still took no time at all for our meals to come to the table since we ordered from the table through the qr code .

I ordered seafood marinara on fettuccine, and they brought my meal out some 15 minutes later, after my friend received his meal 10 minutes prior to mine... 😳
It was served on spaghetti, without asking me if the substitution would be ok...
It was moderately warm and had only 2 prawns and 5 calamari chips on it... (Honestly, not what I was expecting 🙃)
The parmesan cheese was its only good point sadly...
I would have taken the meal back if I wasn't so hungry after the extended wait...!
The staff member that took the order, possibly a Canadian accent, was absolutely the best part of having lunch here - she deserves a star rating...

Great pub in the centre of Bundaberg. Good service & great meal. They have a separate Seniors menu for older patrons.

Great night celebrating birthday and retirement. All meals were fantastic and value for money. Will definitely be visiting you again.

Great food, freshly cooked. It was very quiet when we went so some background music would be nice. It was too cold inside, which was a bit uncomfortable while eating, but it was clean and comfortable. Toilets were clean but the mens were stinking. Great value.

Good food, great drinks, nice staff with good service.
We found ordering at the bar and paying for everything right away a bit strange, but apparently that's how it goes in Australia.

Function attended upstairs..there is no access for disabled only stairs..I have a bad knee and with family help managed to climb stairs. Friends pram had to be carried up.

First time here and had one of the best parmies I have ever had!!! Hands down best in Bundy!!! Atmosphere is great, and kids got given things to do, incredibly affordable and the whole family enjoyed every part of it ❤️❤️

I walked in to have a quick look & was greeted & immediately offered a table while I fetched my wife from the car. The table was readied.
Bar & wait-staff - cheerful & efficient
Food - great with good servings
Atmosphere - warm lighting & uncrowded

Dragged to a quiz night, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Big parmi ( big enough to feed the dog with the half / third / probably a quarter you don't eat)

Don't expect to much from this pub, Food was plenty but the quality was subpar. We had a couple of Yorkshire puddings but if you know what a Yorkshire pudding is and what we were served you would be scratching your head trying to figure out what you were served, I think the chef (not what i would call him needs to work on his deceptive descriptions, or go back to culinary school.

came here for dinner on a Thursday night. was greeted by friendly staff. the place looks brand new. it's the best pub in town by a long way. outstanding finish. steak was good. bar staff very friendly and great service .

Came for lunch. No one greeted us, so we sat down at the only small table available. It must have been recently cleaned as no new cutlery was on the table. Ordered our food and drinks via the qr code.
Drinks were served to the table. The guy said nothing at all, not a word to us. Just put the drinks down and left.
Food came, same guy never said a word just put the food on the table. We were polite and said thank you and tried to get him to speak, nothing.
Still not cutlery, so we had to grab some from the table next to us.
Ordered nachos to share, added pulled pork to it. For the extra $5 we paid for the pulled pork there was just specks of pork. Definitely wasn't worth the extra $5.
Can't say we will be visiting again in a hurry.

Awesome team at the old bundy tavern ryan was awesome and helping us out with helium when ours didn't work dreadlock girl(can't remember her name either)and England (don't know her name)were so awesome aswell for my daughters 18th birthday party could not fault u guys thank u so much for the amazing service and will be recommending u guys in the future once again thank u guys.

A great place for lunch or dinner. Its a Shane you can't sit upstairs on the balcony as Bundy needs more outdoor dining with a view. Will be back

A bit noisy, it was their busiest
trading days though, Saturday. Staff very quickly placed us in a quieter area to cater to my husbands hearing needs. Next time we will pick a quieter day.
