We were unfortunate to get a serve of tough Pork roast and veggies and got refunded without any problems so I gave them a score of five as the staff were wonderful and helpful,the atmosphere was great with a out back setting that's worth another five points on yours own,food was reasonably priced and my chicken parmigiana and chips was great

We went to RSL for lunch today. We were very disappointed with the meal as the broccoli wasn’t cooked, the beans, corn and meat was cold. It appeared the meal had been dished up and forgotten.We won’t be rushing back for a meal or recommending this place to anyone

We went for dinner and their service was most kind. Also, the food order arrived incredibly fast and was quite tasty.

We ordered some takeaway. Never again! Ordered 4 burgers and ended up with 3. Ordered 1 burger with bacon and egg as well and only ended up with a bacon and egg roll.
Service was slow and what we had of the food was ordinary.
Do yourself a favour and go to MacDonalds.

Went to the RSL with colleagues. I was expecting the standard open hall type feel for the restaurant . I was pleasantly surprised to walk through to a quaint little restaurant with a little outback town scene as the theme. Add to this the sound effects of a thunderstorm and actual water falling in the corrugated roof and you feel like you are there. Add to this a great menu and great pricing. Great night out.

We had the chicken schnitzel with chips & salad, was excellent & speedy, service was great & lovely vibe 👌

Was recommended to go here whilst staying at Narrabri. The restaurant itself looks great with bush theme, simulated thunder storm and a mural of Narrabri's main as it would have looked a hundred years ago.
Unfortunately on this night, my steak was a bit tough and not worth the money I paid but overall we had a good night.

Unfortunately unable to eat in outback shack dining area on the day we visited. Ate in dining room but not the atmosphere we expected. Took a while before someone appeared to order our meals. Food okay but nothing special.

This would be hands down the worst meal I’ve ever eaten in my time, had the hole family order dinner, 12 meals in total. Not one meal could have anything good said about it, steaks were cremated when asked for medium. I asked for the ribs which had been boiled with zero marinade jus a squirt of BBQ sauce at the end, handful of chips no veg. Well worth the $33 (not). Can’t say one thing good about the meals which also I might add don’t get any dearer anywhere. Old pub in the bush would have been better an half the price I’m sure. Won’t ever be back sorry , have a good one

This restaurant is amazing, unique, outback style with great country hospitality. From the rain falling off the roof and the memorobila around the walls. You will love it. Best meal I've ever had, so very tasty. A complete dining experience. Do your taste buds a favour. You won't be dissapointed. My new favorite place to dine, when in Narrabri.

This one of the best dining experience I had so far. Exceptional accommodating, efficient staff. Food was perfection. Scotch to die for and simple garden salad side 3$ it was one of the best what I tried in my life and tried a lot. Decor and ambience. The artificial rain falls around your table and thunderstorms and frogs. Something so hard to achieve by others level of noice let you easily communicate with ppl on your table. I am super impressed. The best dinning experience as for hospitality professional.

Such a lot of work has gone into creating this RSL restaurant. Lovely food. I was super impressed that Tofu was on the menu. Highly recommend 👌

Quite quirky in its outback decor (in a good way!). Meals generously proportioned and slow cooked brisket was magnificent. Good value for money. Have now been a few times and meals/service has always been of a great standard.

Nice friendly restaurant if you are stopping over Narrabri. Service is quick, food is quick and tasty. Price is reasonable.

It’s an outback themed restaurant which makes a great change from most sterile club dining areas .. the food and service both lovely we ordered the roast knuckle … more than enough for two

I did not find the staff friendly at all .We went here for special occasion order our ontray the lady there be sometime before the main coming. This was not so we had one bit of our on tray with 2mins our mains were served by a very miserable waiter .I never complain about things was very disappointing. And meals were not that great .If there's communication problem between the chef and person taking the orders they should get it sorted .

Have attended here numerous times and the current menu/chef has improved the experience ten fold.
The new menu is great with a great selection of meals that were served quickly and fresh.
Use to hesitate to go here for a meal but will be happy to return now with the current menu.

Had seen a couple of ‘not so good’ reviews prior to eating there, but our experience was absolutely superb. We both had steak and it was cooked as ordered, just perfect. Chips and salad generous and both fresh and crisp. The beer was cold and good choice of beers. Will definitely be eating there again.

Great place. Good atmosphere. Not loud (even with half the tables taken) which is amazing.
Staff are great. Food is awesome. (Forgot to take photos before we started eating) meals are also a good size.
Also they were so chill about my assistance dog (even when places don't say no sometimes I feel watched and judged, didn't get that at all here)

Great ambience and outback feel. The garlic prawns and garlic bread were delicious. As was the scotch fillet, chocholate mud cake.

Good sized meals. Plenty of space to eat. Club as a whole is clean and welcoming. The simulated storm sounds were a bit annoying. Otherwise recommend.

Food wasn't all that good I am sorry to say I ordered the chicken and mushrooms risotto and it had no flavour Ihad to pile on salt and pepper to try and get some flavour in there the arborio rice was lumpy and sloppy. My husband steak was well done and he asked for medium. It is has a lovely atmosphere and love the lighting and the rain that runs off the roof inside. Staff is friendly but the food let it all down.😢😢
