Went with a large group but not everyone was happy with their meals, so it was a mixed experience and at the prices they charge it should have all been spectacular. The staff were lovely and dealt with our large group in a welcoming and accommodating way. Booking online was easy and I called to adjust numbers without any problem. The ginger beer on tap was nice, on the sweeter side, but they also had a dryer brand in cans.

Went for lunch, food was nice, had the Parma and it was just slightly overcooked as the chicken breast was starting to become little dry but still very tasty especiallysince it was a proper chicken breast used and not a bashed to death snitz. Not the perfect Parma but still a very good one. Chips were crispy and the salad was nice too.
Service was fantastic at the time and the other meals I saw looked fantastic. Quiet atmosphere. Overall a great place for a feed.

We had a booking of 30+ and they couldn’t even even replace one chips that come out cold , come over twice to ask about them, and then they decided just to forget about it and not return with out fixing the problem . Kind of disgusting Couldn’t replace a handful of chips after everybody paying for their meals. considering everybody at the table, spent very good money on drinks and food. I think replacing one meal will not even just the chips wasn’t much to ask.

We attended this venue to celebrate a birthday . Friday night @6:30pm we ordered straight away as we were all hungry and being a diabetic needed to eat promptly. Usually a wait time of 45 minutes is acceptable in my view when your bistro is packed with patrons. In this case it was not packed. Your staff were friendly however being under age made it a challenge for your only mature staff to serve alcoholic drinks. There was 1 staff member that could do this and also the same one that had the confidence to be on the bistro floor handing out meals and dealing with any other issues that arise.
Our meals took 1 hour to arrive the kids meals were promptly served within 15-20 minutes.
This feedback should be used constructively as improvements need to be assessed - lucky I wasn’t a mystery shopper. We might return one day but due to not being local it wont be anytime soon

Used to be a decent local pub but quality has gone downhill. The schnitzel is far too expensive for how good the chicken used is and I was up in the middle of the night feeling ill. Front of house staff are friendly at least

To be honest I've always found the exterior uninviting so it's take so long to give them a go, but that's where it ends. Every single member of staff are amazing - attentive, polite, respectful and welcoming... Then add to this good standard pub food, a small play area for kids + unexpected kids-eat-free and ballooning entertainment from Brendan (well went on a Wednesday)... Well! We'll be back regularly.
(And the layout allows space and distance for people who may prefer a kid-free area.)

Such a good night due to the amazing service. We had a table of 16 guests: all our meals came out after 8-10 mins of ordering all together! All of us thought our meals were cooked deliciously and actually tasted fresh. And the service… to the owner- please let your staff that was serving us at 7pm till closing on Friday the 17/05/24…. They are so friendly, attentive, and patient. Honestly they were the cherry on the top for our dinner. Thanks you guys.

Really like this restaurant really open space for the kids food is normally pretty good staff are undertrained but okay but my main concern is it’s probably warmer to sit outside on the coldest day. This restaurant is absolutely freezing cold. Why would you have the Aircon on on a 16° day it’s ridiculous, everyone having their dinner wearing their coats would really appreciate managements feedback

Pokies machines are located at the rear of the building. Rear parking is also available.
They serve hot snacks but I'm not sure at what time exactly. We visited here at night.

On ordering a medium to rare steak. It came out well done. It went back and came out 20 minutes later, rare, almost blue. Had to eat it as she was so hungry. Didn't finish it as it was bleeding. Ask for the chef to come out. He was so so rude and arrogant. Telling us it was not rare. Then walked off and was swearing "F" this and "F" that. Absolutely disgraceful.. And then when he was confronted. He wouldn't tell us his name and was so rude. We come here with our bike group. But no more. Never again. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Seniors meal was very lean on compared to other venues in the municipality.

I went there with some friends , surprised there weren't more people there , very friendly staff and good quick service , food quality was excellent , drinks available at the bar ! Overall an enjoyable experience , would have no problem recommending this hotel for a pleasant dinner !

I caught up with an old colleague for lunch at this venue. It was a Tuesday lunchtime and clearly a quiet time at the hotel. Despite the quiet atmosphere the staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the 220g rib fillet with a salad and chips. The salad was a bit on the lean side however the steak was magnificent. Perfectly cooked, juicy and oh so tender. Really enjoyed the meal and will definitely come again if I’m in the area.

Haven't dined here for a couple of years now. Noticed a few changes. Table service has gone now & you order at the counter but that is ok as most places do now. They used to have nice red soft chairs, now they have hard chairs that were a bit uncomfortable.
Food was nice as it was before. The bruschetta & garlic bread very tasty. Lovely desserts. The chocolate mousse & pavlova very nice. Staff friendly & helpful. Prices reasonable.

Had a scotch fillet steak tonight done medium. Was absolutely to die for. Complements to the chef, 10/10. I just wish I could cook my own like that.🤣
My dad had porterhouse well done, he was pleased and said it was cooked beautifully. Knowing that if dad's steak isn't burnt he will send it back and to please my old man well that's just saying something!
Great bartender service also, She was a lovely young woman and up for a chat. ☺️
I must say that the phoenix is our go to on weekends when we have nothing to do and, we always enjoy our time there. Also my dad likes Bundy red and the first time we went there they didn't have any but, the next time we did they'd got a new bottle in. Such lovable people and a delight to be around. Had an amazing meal last night at The Phoenix. Staff were amazing so friendly, accomodating and a pleasure to be around. A young crew but they didn’t stop all night. We had the Asian beef salad, Pork Croquettes and Wagu Beef Burger all were delicious and very large potions.
Can’t fault a thing do yourself a favour and check it out. Was so good we booked Christmas Day can’t wait.

Great place to sit with friends and have a meal and drinks. There is a main dining area or you can get quick pub style meals. Plenty of parking at the front, sides and rear. Disability parking also available. Outdoor seating and heating has a nice atmosphere.

great place to eat and very kid friendly. the service was outstanding with staff who loved their jobs. the food was very yummy with a great variety. will definatley be coming back

Good restaurant for families - small playground for kids to have some fun. Food was decent and well priced. Service was excellent! A convenient spot nearby a newly refurbished bowling alley/mini-golf/entertainment complex as well.

Good halfway point between williams landing and Rare Records, The staff are no nonsense but friendly. It is a good place to catch up with both familiar and unfamiliar faces, i would definitely come here again if i was in the area, thanks Nat! 🙂

Food is amazing the jugs and some glasses need an upgrade !
But the food was amazing I would go back for dinner or lunch anytime The children love playing indoor slide too

Disgusting daughter had g/f. Risotto very sloppy with partially cooked onion. My steak & mushroom pie with veg. Warm mash and greens looked as tho they had been thrown on plate. The pie lacked mushroom and could have been bought from any supermart . Would never return
By the way slugged $30 for this extra because I asked for mash instead of chips

Did not like my meal, ordered the pork cutlet, the first one was raw on the inside so it was sent back.
The next one was light pink in areas, so I ate what I could chips looked like they were from the bottom of the bag.
It's not a nice meal at all.

Clean, good atmosphere. Some meals are easily 5⭐. Calamari and Fish and Chips were really good. The Wagyu burger was alright.
Service was excellent.
Would come here again.

Absolutely one of the best Parmas, I’ve ever had.. Chichen , sauce… Ham is awesome and the cheese combo is absolutely beautiful. Definitely one to try out.. Sorry, but already attacked it before the photo lol
