About The Pier Hotel
Low-key rooms in a casual 1900s hotel with a modern restaurant, a vintage-chic bar & a sports bar. Dating from 1905, this relaxed hotel with a retro vibe is a 4-minute walk from Coffs Harbour train station, a 10-minute walk from Jetty Beach and 5 km from the Big Banana amusement park. The casual rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking equipment, plus ceiling fans and shared bathrooms. Some have fireplaces, while upgraded rooms add minifridges and en suite facilities. Amenities include a modern bistro, a sports bar and a sunroom, as well as a vintage-chic bar with exposed-brick walls and an original fireplace. Parking is free.

Would have to be the thinnest cut chicken fillet used in a parmy i have ever had ,i know economy is tight but seriously what a rip off. Most definitely the worst Parmy in Coffs Harbour.

We had a fine set of meals. I had a steak sandwich and it was well priced and very well prepared. You have to go and get your meals so that is a bit different. Great pub feel and prices of food and drinks very good. We would definitely go back again for another quality feed.

The staff went out of their way to assist me, my mum passed away while staying there. They gave me an ensuite room, as at first I was in a shared bathroom room. The rooms.are very clean. Easy to catch public transport if needed. I highly recommend this hotel

The room I stayed in was nice for a pub room.
The staff were rude and accusing me of God knows what for having two mates that I haven't seen in a long time as I'm not from Coffs Harbour in my room to catch up before they went to work. They kicked me out threated me and now I have to sit at the train station till my train comes in the morning.
As I was leaving one staff member told me not to book again and I told him hafter I get harassed by staff I don't come back.

The pub is a very beautiful place to stay right in the heart of Coffs and not far from the jetty , this pub has all to offer , great staff , very clean rooms and amenities, food was delicious and very reasonable prices, even children friendly we definitely be coming back to stay again , thank you for making our stay a great one!!

The Pier Hotel was an easy walk from the railway station and located right next to the Jetty restaurant area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet; the staff helpful and friendly. Bathroom amenities just across the hall were clean and spacious - and there the pub downstairs was also a good place to relax after a day in Coffs. Will definitely stay here next visit.

The Pier Hotel has been wonderfully refurbished and has retained the warm wood appearance that makes it so welcoming. It is a family run hotel and takes pride in providing excellent and personalised service.|There are many areas for dining or to have a drink and relax - which we did. Staff are friendly and helpful - Heidi was really great.|This was part of a road trip and we stayed overnight in a comfortable room with modern facilities. |The Hotel is close the Marina, Pier and Muttonbird Island which is a great place for a walk and relax.|Prices are good and the Hotel is well worth a visit.

The Pier has been recently renovated and is modern and clean. It is a great location near all the Jetty restaurants and beach. The staff were friendly.
The only major issue I had was the price of the food. Pasta was $25 .. and our was a small sever. Their is a $45 rib eye.
I had the entree Korean Chicken. It was ok. But it was dry. And it was on a bed of salad. I thought it would be better served with Kimchee and a chilly soy dipping sauce.

The hotel very nice and clean.near the jetty and a lot of restaurants.but it very noisy at night noise from the bar at hotel it stop around 11 pm in morning it noise from cleaning around 6.30.it you ok with that it good hotel.

Security said that they were at capacity, let the next 6 people in. Had only been at the theatre up the road. Maybe because I’m nearly 50 and they were only early 20’s and were going to be drinking more expensive drinks than us

Paper thin wall snoring bloody men, beds need upgrade didn’t get good night sleep.
Staff friendly helpful, room & bathroom clean.

Outstanding friendly and helpful service, modern and fresh in a look in a historical context, brilliant, nostalgic. Good food in the bistro, great location close to the train station, easy to find for travellers who want to get away from the night time B-doubles using the highway. As close as you can get to the jetty, close to the marina and Mutton Bird Island, Coffs Creek, Park beach, Gallows beach in easy walking reach. Well worth staying more than one night if your schedule allows.The shared bathroom is a touch of authenticity and should not discourage staying there, it’s a corner pub. I will return for more than one night.

Nice clean rooms and great service. Only giving it 4 stars because we unfortunately stayed on a Saturday night which was rowdy and there was very little insulation from noise. Would stay again but would avoid the rowdy nights.

Nice and friendly staff, clean rooms, great area with food and nightlife nearby. Hotel manager is really nice and helped me sort a couple issues which lead me to change this review to a full 5 stars. They really care about their hotel. Thanks love

My husband and I stopped for one night in Coffs Harbour and chose to stay at The Pier Hotel. Our queen room with ensuite was very comfortable and clean. Plus the welcome at reception by Ethan was very warm and friendly. Another good reasons for staying at this hotel is that it's on the harbour and in a restaurant hub where there's plenty of cuisine choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Manimush preferred accommodation to stay at Coffs harbour, good location walking distance to jetty and good beaches. Wonderful time enjoying the bars downstairs and just having drinks with the locals and just relax. Walking distance to xpt train for Brisbane or Central Coast and Sydney. Close to main town of Coffs harbour and attractions.
Upstairs accommodation has a good home fill and love the building history.

Lucky to spend an extra night in Coffs so made a walk up booking.
Friendly efficient staff and super clean room and facilities.
Food was also excellent.

Lovely location, short level walk to the harbour and beach. Nice staff. We stayed in the queen ensuite room. Bed very comfortable, tea making facilities in room. Also there's a fridge in the room. Lots of nearby restaurants too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great location for a reasonable price, however the rooms I had were not air conditioned and just a shared bathroom at the end of the hall.

Food was good, service from the food staff was great.
Drinks well priced.
The let down was the drinks staff poured the wrong drink and refused to fix it without charging for another. Not good guys we are here for a week and a bit could have easily come and eaten and drank there two more times. Not good business practice.

FOOD..... Hamburger & Beer......$27.50
Hamburger.. beef patty overcooked dry lacked flavour. Bun..stale Chips well cooked but no salt or seasoning. Beer .. flat by the time hamburger arrived. Order and pay at bar and pickup from kitchen. Not my idea of a local pub lunch.

Excellent host who looked after us was friendly and engaging even when not on duty.|Hotel was clean ,well looked after and tastefully finished and welcoming.|The Hotel was within 500 metres of the waterfront and beaches which included a dog friendly section .|Only negative was the lack of air con in the ensuite room.|Bed was fine and bathroom facilities adequate.

Easy check in with friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room in a good location in Coffs Harbour- very close to the marina and Jetty Beach. We didn't notice any noise despite being above the pub. Free parking was also appreciated.

A well appointed,large ensuite room. |Clean and comfortable .|The location is excellent with an easy walk to the Jetty and Marina area.|There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from right out the door,but we chose to eat at the Hotels restaurant. The menu was great with a variety at very good prices.|The staff on arrival were very helpful and friendly. |Also one of the best features for us was that we were able to park our motorcycles in a locked,secure garage for the night. |We will certainly stay here again.

10 out of 10 for this hotel - great location - 5 minute walk down to the beach and the Yacht Club - great for the morning walk - for dinner you can’t beat the great selection of restaurants starting next door - or eat at the hotel - amazing food! Modern rooms that are clean and comfy - the staff are lovely as well - will be back for sure
