What’s not to like. Called in for lunch with some mates. Top value for money. Make sure to check the daily specials (schnitty/parma on Thursdays $16). Delicious meals, very friendly welcoming service. Thumbs up 👍 see you again soon

What a wonderful venue!! We had my partners 30th birthday party, from start to finish it was perfect. Olivia was so easy to deal with and booking everything in and super helpful with all my questions. Sam was our host on the night and he was fabulous, all staff were super friendly and attentive. All the guests loved the food and also made comments saying how brilliant the staff were & how good the venue was. Would definitely book here again. Thanks for such a great time😊!

Went for SuperBowl party and cant say enough about the service and atmosphere witnessed. There was a self inflicted issue with seating but the team there led by Oliva could not have been anymore more accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. Her along with Gavin were great and felt like we had our own butlers for the day hahah as they went that extra mile making sure our experience was not hampered not being in the VIP area. Highly recommend this venue not just for next years Super Bowl but any event or daily sesh. Thankyou Team!

Food was great!
Staff were amazing, friendly and made us feel really welcome.
The menu’s on the bar and table were a really nice personal touch.
Such a friendly environment to be in and the entertainment were fantastic.

UPDATED: The Prince Consort staff did reach out and I appreciated the opportunity to talk through and receive their apology.
Super disappointed with our work Christmas party booking. We booked in September, sent several follow up emails, spoke to them the day before to confirm, and were told we would be in The Naughty Corner - all good.
On arrival (on time), there was no record of our booking, another party was in our reserved area and we were hastily given a few bar tables right in front of the busy garden bar - next to the smoking section.
As we were in the open area, we had people trying to join in our party all night, including some very aggressive blokes who wouldn't leave our young staff members alone.
Once of our employees was kicked out for inappropriate footwear who, and when we challenged the Manager about it, was allowed back in as he admitted she was wearing identical shoes to pretty much every other girl in the place.
I emailed my concerns to the hotel has now been in touch to apologise and offer to make amends, which I appreciate.

The Prince Consort hosted several fundraisers for Happy Tails Animal Rescue and Olivia and the staff were so accommodating and welcoming and supportive of our cause. They really went the extra mile to make sure the events went smoothly and all the guests had such great feedback about the atmosphere, the food and apparently the Pirate cocktail is the "best cocktail" one guest had ever tasted! Would definitely book the Prince Consort as a venue again!!

Thanks to the team at The Prince Consort for ensuring my event was more successful than I envisaged. From the time of making the booking with one of the functions managers at The Prince, a date and the right space was secured quickly and from there the communication to make sure my event was an enjoyable experience for my guest started. I chose La La Land and being a Saturday, Olivia went out of her way to ensure we had the venue private for my event up until they opened to the public. The food was modern, chic, sensational, every platter came out well presented and extremely tasty. The service from the staff was a stand out, smiling happy team members that helped in creating a great energy for my guest. There was no problem in getting drinks to my guest, there were more than enough staff, fussing over us and making sure the experience overall was delivered. I had a lot of audio and visual requirments and i was given a total proffessional to ensure everything sounded and looked amazing, thank you Pete Smith. Thanks to the entire team at The Prince Consort, Olivia, Jason, Michael and all the staff that turned my Birthday Soiree into the ultimate disco party, my guest are still raving about this night.
No wonder this place is award winning, hats off to you all, bravo, well done, this really was an exceptional touch of the excellence to make my event SPECTACULAR!

Staff went out of their way to make this a good experience - moving heaters for screen visibility, bringing drinks from other bar to our table, quickly setting up an extra kitchen order when *we* had confused the situation (cancelled when figured out). Best $16 steak dinner we could remember.

Once again Prince Consort/La La Land laid on another outstanding VIP Super Bowl experience for Super Bowl 58 12/02/24.
We had the best seats/table in the place for our 15 strong rabble.
The food was great and plentiful (as was the game duration unlimited Coors beer and cider).
The service was top notch yet again and NFL jerseys were a great idea.
It was my 12 conservative Super Bowl and 4th consecutive at the La La Land VIP section and I can honestly say that the Prince Consort does THE BEST Super Bowl party in Brisbane, hands down!
Everyone in our group were very impressed and are keen again for next year.

Olivia, our function manager did an outstanding job of helping to coordinate and plan our event, a 50th birthday party in the Bowie Rooms did an amazing job ensuring everything ran perfectly on the night. The staff & the food was amazing in a spectacular room.

Olivia and the Prince Consort team went above and beyond to ensure our work Christmas party at La La Land was nothing short of fantastic. From our initial meeting, where Olivia showed us around all the great function spaces they have, I felt confident that she would help us orchestrate a memorable event.
The Chef and kitchen team delivered an array of fresh and delicious food and the wait staff showed exceptional skill in navigating through the crowd, ensuring everyone had plenty to
eat.
Another highlight of the evening was Olivia's DJ recommendation, DJ Chris Spicer, who was great value for our 4 hour package but more importantly he knew how to read the crowd and get people on the dance floor!
I am so grateful to Olivia and the entire Prince Consort team, they were patient and adaptable with our requests to ensure we got a package that worked for us. I would absolutely book future events with them and highly recommend them.

My booking note dropped out, but the team were super happy to assist with moving our group of 8 inside, on the spot.
Service was impeccable, very attentive staff who greeted us with a smile. The food was well presented, very tasty and came out quickly.

Massive thanks to Olivia in functions at the Prince Consort and Sam and all the team, who made our Sunday afternoon birthday gathering so great! Everyone was so helpful and it was such a great atmosphere.

I will be finding an excuse to host a function at The Prince Consort again! Exceeded expectations 💯.
I hosted a Bridal Shower in The Deck function space which went extremely smoothly and the staff were 10000/10 amazing!! Genuinely, all guests said how well looked after they were by staff and that they were professional but personable and kept a great energy throughout. Seriously, the best staff I've had for an event by far, they would go above and beyond to ensure we were all happy.
Food came out fresh and hot and definitely delicious. I was impressed by the signage printed for each platter and the menu at the side. I wasn't expecting that level of detail. The gluten free guests were in awe of how well catered for they were and didn't expect so much of the food to be gluten free--and taste just as yummy. I felt very proud to have chosen to host the event with The Prince Consort.
My only note is to think about the type of function you book in The Deck. The live music below on Saturday arvo made it a little loud for some Bridal Shower games and conversations. But it was still stunning, nonetheless.

I recently had my son Harrys farewell party in the Bowie Room at Prince Consort. Olivia and the team where absolutely fantastic helping me organising the event and the night was AMAZING! Thanks for making it so easy and providing us with such beautiful memories xx

I ran a pub crawl and the Prince Consort was on our itinerary. The staff were awesome and so friendly and generous. They even allowed us upstairs to look at where the old hotel rooms used to be. We had a marvellous time there, thanks to the wonderful staff and management.

I had my birthday party in their naughty corner. Olivia was a dream to organise and book everything through! Super organised and prompt with all her replies. The venue was great in the night and the staff were super accomodating and lovely! Could not recommend more if you’re after an easy, organised experience! Thanks again!

I celebrated my 26th birthday in March at the Prince Consort in the 400 Rabbits room, and I can't rave about it enough. Everything, from the food and service to the room itself, was absolutely wonderful. My friends had the best time, and we're all still talking about it!
The team at the Prince Consort is truly exceptional. The entire process, from start to finish, was smooth and stress-free. Olivia was a superhero in organising everything including making sure all the food was edible for my guests with allergies, and Mitch, the onsite manager for the night, made the experience even better. It was truly a memorable night. All I had to do was show up!
I will continue to recommend for as long as possible!

Hosted our son's 21st birthday in the Bowie Rooms at the Prince Consort and it was great. Rooms and staff were excellent! Will look at having events at the Prince Consort again.

Hired Bowie Rooms for birthday celebration and could not have asked for better venue and staff! Everyone was very helpful and friendly - would recommend to friends and family!

I would like to personally reach out to you and your team for the amazing Unison Christmas party function we had at The Prince Consort.
On behalf of Jasmine and myself, I can not thank you enough for the sensational service your bar and waiter staff provided us that evening. I have to also mention that the food selection was outstanding, I had feed back that it was very enjoyable.
The entire night was a great success, and the bingo was a lot of fun.

had a table booked in the garden bar. started a bar tab and this place is amazing. started off with some wings and chips and theya re by far some of the best wings i have tasted in along time. good atmosphere + live band. was an amazing place to foinish the night. would come here again in a heart beat!!! the bar tenders wheere only to happy to help no matter what the order was. including expresso martnis haha. amazin place and great coation.

Had a nice dinner and pre drinks before going to cloud land, not really into watching footy so didn’t hang around long. All in all a nice venue to start a night out.

Had an event here, lunch time and the staff were incredible and went above and beyond. The food is fantastic and the cocktail jugs were great especially the elderflower one. Especially love the deck; it feels like a little escape and you forget you're in the middle of the bustle of the valley

Great St Patrick's Day event here. Fabulous beer and tasty pub food. Myself and 15 friends had an amazing time with wonderful live entertainment. Big shout out to Alex who helped with our reservation. Also, Gavin who was so friendly and welcoming. Superb customer service. A team willing to make sure our day was awesome. We will be back...

Excellent full sized and full service pub in Brisbane in Fortitude Valley. The team are a talented and considerate group that really take care of the customers and know how to take an ordinary night to an exceptional night. We really enjoyed the evening and the wide range of beverages on offer as the team did such a good job of keeping us entertained

Dropped in for an impromptu dinner on Saturday night at about 5:30pm. Managed to snag a table without reserving one! We ordered a few entrees and a main each, and the bill worked out to be roughly $40 per person.
The duck spring rolls were a definite fan favourite!
Definitely recommend!
