What an awesome place to go !!!
Food was amazing !
Service was outstanding !
and Staff could not do enough to make our night enjoyable !
Shout out to one particular head waitress who we now class as a friend :)
We even got to meet the new owners who made us feel so welcome and bought us a drink or two or three :)
Such fantastic people !
Thank you to everyone who made our visit so pleasurable you guys are the best and we wish you nothing but success in the future with

My husband and I will definitely be going back and hopefully even staying in the hotel next time.

We were there for an 18th birthday in the functions room. The food was good but took about an hour and a half to come out which was fine, we were happy to wait as it was quite busy. However, had a unpleasant encounter with a young blonde waitress in her 20s. Absolutely rude and off putting as she argued with me about my order being wrong. Then must of realised she was wrong and sent out a different waiter to fix the order. A restaurant can have delish food but if the staff are rude you will lose service. I won't be back after this encounter. Disappointing.

Went in yesterday before lunch as I had been there before once and it was a nice night at queens, however, yesterday’s experience has changed my mind. Lady behind the bar clearly didn’t want to be there and had an attitude. Saw us waiting at the bar to be served and just continued to count money and then go and fill up pokies machines. When I finally was served I got a glass and a bottle plonked in front of me without ice and had to pour my own drink. This wouldn’t have bothered me in the slightest if the staff were nice but she was so rude we just left. Won’t be back when there are so many other bars in town that have friendly staff

Visited The Queen and the staff was amazing
Went overboard to please us with us with a service with a smile , nothing was a problem and we are fuzzy customers but they were the best ever to please us on our request
JAI THE SUPER CHEF !! Did his best ! He is the best , Shree was excellent

The steaks are incredible. Best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. Dianne sauce is to die for and Manager who runs the restaurant is so lovely and hospitable. Whole experience was amazing. Will not be eating anywhere else.

The room we stayed in was disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. It’s about 20 years outdated. And we paid $120.00. Not worth $20. The signal for the tv is a hit and miss. And if you want to have a beer, XXXX is $8.50. That’s $2.50 more than Tannum Sands. The food in the restaurant was quite expensive for what you got. I had the roast of the day without roast potatoes and more fat than beef.

The Queens Hotel Gladstone Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 Their Pub, Club, Restaurant and Staff are incredible. Atmosphere, Service, Food and Fun was Amazing 👏 👏👏✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Had a fantastic dinner 🍽 and then a Mindblowingly 🤯 Grate time seeing 👀 The ABBA Girls 👧 👧🏼❤️🙏😊👏👏👏👏👏👏
I could NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL HIGHER.

The food was cooked well for everyone, but 3 steaks doesn't make it a steakhouse with 6 other pages of meals to choose from.
Waited over an hour for meals on a Monday night. Being a local for 35yrs, it really needs to return to an actual steakhouse

Rooms were standard but are being updated. Large carparks big enough to park a boat out the back. Had to leave early for a family emergency and the staff were so understandable and accommodating, calling the next day to check up on me and gave me a full refund for the room. I appreciate it at a time of need.

Pokies aren't as much fun as they used to be, but food and staff are still good. Drinks are getting a bit pricey.

Our family room was basic but served our needs.
The meal we had at dinner was outstanding. Our party was very impressed and the staff went above and beyond for us and made the kids happy. I had the fish and chips and it was the nicest fish meal I've had in some time

Not for myself, but 2 separate occasions by different family members within last 2 weeks. Families dont want to go public due to being locals, but I will because have had great meals and even a function at Queens and must say something. However, recently, chef quite audibly cursed and carried on when my 21 y.o. ordered a pizza during her lunch break. She was quite upset by his attitude and wont be back. Second occasion, other family members were having a meal at night when altercation occurred between same chef and customers leaving premises. Foul language again quite audible.
Remember. Word of mouth speaks volumes.

I had a tour group of 20. We had pre ordered. Our food arrived promptly and was excellent.
The thing that stood out was the amazing service. The young ladies who served us wete hapoy, smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

I can’t rate the service here any higher. Would rate it 10 out of 5 if I could. All staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Big shout out to Hannah & Phil who were so accomodating and made my visits so amazing. The food was great as well. Thanks you guys 👌

I am writing to express my concern for the well-being of Mr. Friday. This morning, prior to our meeting, I overheard him expressing frustration Queens Hotel management
While I understand this is a personal matter, I am concerned that Mr. Friday may be experiencing unfair treatment in the workplace. Specifically, I heard him mention difficult - practicing his rights, unpaid leave hours
Given Mr. Friday's valuable contributions and the company's reputation for fairness, I believe it would be beneficial to open a dialogue to address these concerns. Perhaps a meeting with Mr. Friday and HR could be arranged to discuss these matters further.

Have dined here twice now. Being interstate visitors from Adelaide I found the whole experience at this hotel wonderful. From the food which is amongst the best in Gladstone to the staff’s friendliness and the offer of a courtesy car to and from the venue ranks it a number 1 establishment. On our second visit we met the owners who are absolutely fabulous. Both were caring, courteous and funny to two aging ladies, making sure we were taken care of the whole night. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a night at the Queens. Kudos boys.

Hats off to the Queens last night!
Valentine’s Day was super busy but the staff were super attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! The balloons on the tables were so cute and we got gifted chocolates before we left. Good job guys

Had an absolutely awesome night. Paul started out serving us. Tracy was next then Charmaine. All were excellent with there customer service and information and local knowledge. Would recommend to anyone. Even got introduced to the owners who were in the bar. Will definitely come back

Great atmosphere, fast bar service and the night I visited they had a Guns‘n’Roses tribute band play , they were awesome 👏

Gave this place 4 stars because the service was great at the pub the food in steak house really nice and one comment must be made the girl in steak house was a bullet she was running around everywhere great work myself being in hospitality for over 35 years I know a hard worker . Guys keep hold of her !
Why they didn't get 5 stars is because when going to my car seen three kitchen staff standing near my car smoking which I know the smell of weed . Not good guys

For starters , booked a table showed and had nothing. Waited atleast an hour for myself to ask a worker where my food is, and she says to the kitchen as I’m walking away “hey table 25”. So within that hour they had not prepare my food, assistance was poor, and food had a very cheap taste.

Food was scrumptious… one of the better beef roasts I have had from a restaurant in a very long time. T-bone also cooked perfectly & tasted amazing. Restaurant staff were super accommodating & have great customer service. Would recommend eating here to everyone who comes to Gladstone.

Called in for a beer a couple of weeks ago.
$29 for a pint of beer and a pint of ginger beer.
What a scam.
Even when I bought it up with the staff they couldn't care less.
Never will get my business.
ive told plenty to stare clear of the queen's.
central lane that's 4 pints and great service and attitude.
Can't compare the two business as they're like chalk and cheese

Atmosphere is nice but the $45 rib fillet is below par. My steak was tough to eat, this is the second time I have ordered this steak and have been disappointed both times. It has to be the poor cut of meat, I get better steaks at Diceys. I would pay more for a steak if it's a quality cut of meat. Please review your supplier of meat.

Arrived after long 8 hours trip, we payed 85 dollars to stay the night.
As we entered the room it smelt and was dirty all over, stains on the bed and floor, everything we touched felt dirty and sticky.
We decided to eat a meal from their restaurant and payed 72 dollars for two steaks and some gravy.
It was very unsatisfactory, gravy alone cost 4 dollars and was such a small serving.

Absolutely amazing staff and fantastic food. Rib on the bone cooked to perfection and the chook schnitty was beautiful. Staff are very friendly. Complements to the chef for an awesome feed, thank you.

0 stars. The place was horrible, the service less than welcoming, leaving me waiting for over 25mins, even after calling to see if my room was ready after a nightmare morning of delayed flights. I honestly wouldn’t pay $50 to stay in the room we had. Just two beds, mine (the double) had stains all over the quilt, a horrible dirty black table in between beds no phone to call reception, no books about Gladstone or what’s on offer. Fridge was dirty & the mouldy box air con from 1980 had no heating. I called from my own phone to ask about heating, I was told to switch it on the remote…. Yeah right! I said there is no remote & I was then lied to being told she was on her own & it would take over an HOUR for her to get to me. I had just been down there with the THREE girls in the bar. I was furious & we decided to request a refund & leave. 0⭐️’s do not stay here. Had to put 1 star to publish
