Went to watch The Remnants play. Room was a bit crowded and not able to sit far enough away from the band. Food and service was great.

Went to the hood for a pub meal. Thursday night and the pub was bustling. They have a decent size menu and really good food. Small meal serving area which does become very crowded and loud, but it's a pub with good food, cold drinks, friendly staff and pub merch. Definitely grab a Parma and that was on point! Best I've had in ages. Didn't stay in the rooms but great atmosphere.

Went for dinner on Friday 10 March23.
Good atmosphere, we sat in the Beer Garden and was lovely.
Obvious attempt to upgrade inside.
Good food, fair prices & good service. Will be back for sure.

Very good food and service, the boys drinking outside were a treat to meet, was visiting from over the ditch (nz) and thoroughly enjoyed it, cheers🍻

Took a drive down for lunch. I had the mixed grill and it was sensational. All the meat was cooked beautifully, the only down fall was no rissole. Score 9/10

Stopped in for lunch for my sister's lunch. Everytime we come to the Robin Hood Inn the service and food never let's us down! Our meals were delicious and came out in a timely manner. Our server was lovely and the staff behind the bar were too! The kids had a ball in the play area and being able to keep an eye on them was super easy.
Thanks for another great experience we'll be back again!

So, I dropped into this place a couple of weeks ago to get some grand final day specials at the bottle shop. I asked if they had any grand final day specials, only to be told, not really, as we just have the regular specials. As there wasn't any more information forthcoming, I asked if they had any CC and dry cans on sale. I said that I'm happy either get a ten pack or two six packs of cans. The staff member disappears for a while and returns with a six pack, plus four individual cans. I ask them how much for the six pack and how much for all ten cans. They add it up on the register and tell me that it'll be $29 for the six pack or $60 for the ten cans. Hmmm, now which one do you think I chose? That's right, in my head, I'm thinking to myself that I could buy two lots of six packs for $58 or ten cans for $60. I still don't think the staff member had any idea what they had just told me. Anyway, as you guessed, I just chose to buy a six pack for $29 and left. Will I be back? It's hard to say, but their staff clearly need to be better trained on how to make a genuine sale to a customer, rather than just trying to blindly rip them off!!!

Our family of 5 (with 3 young children) enjoyed a hearty lunch here over the Easter Long Weekend and it was an unexpectedly wonderful experience! All the dishes were delicious and the kids polished off their meals in minutes. What was most impressive however, was the exceptional customer service of all the staff in attendance on the day, especially the two young waitresses who served us and a gentleman named Peter (behind the bar) who all went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience and were well looked after. Our only regret is not stumbling upon this charming old pub earlier so we could squeeze in a few extra meals there.

My wife and I have had a few meals here and everytime they have been spot on. Haven't left disappointed once which is great. Drink prices and meals prices are both reasonable.

My 7yo daughter and I went for lunch together after she had an equally awesome painting class in the big tent outside (FYI, look up Desire to Sketch, booking in with Keira is so worth it!)
I've never seen my kid eat fish and chips so quick! A decent sized kids meal. She really liked watching the chef cook through the little window. I had an entree sized calamari dish, which was pretty filling for me. We had a soft drink each, and both agreed on our way out that we would love to come back one day. Staff were lovely too. And there's plenty of parking in the gravel/pea gravel carpark but it can get a bit muddy when raining so be careful not to slip.
My girl is autistic and is often overwhelmed by noisy or crowded environments. She definitely didn't get that here - it was a nice quiet little pub with a few different areas sectioned off, so the sounds are muffled. We went around 1.30 and it was still relatively quiet despite having 10-20 people in various areas, in the middle of the day.
The floor in the toilet could use a bit of a detail as I could tell someone had cut corners with the mop and not moved the bin, toilet brush, behind the door, etc, and it just seemed a bit grubby with fluff/grime buildup. But, it was still clean where it mattered most, smelled as fresh as it could for a pub toilet, and the toilet/soap/tap/dryer all functioned as you would expect so I can't really complain, as I've seen much Much worse!
The only real downside to our visit was that it was raining and she didn't get to play on the equipment outside. So I guess I'll have to suffer through another visit, probably one day soon 🙃
When we were ready to head back home, it was literally a one minute drive, and we were back on the highway (East bound). You wouldn't think this tiny pub was so close to a major road! Oh, and we absolutely loved the masses of grape vines growing on the back porch. Just gorgeous!

Location and drinks are good but we ordered dinner and after 2 hours nothing. My pregnant wife had enough and begged me to get her something.

It's an absolute pleasure to visit a historical pub like this one. And I am glad I did. But, no offence , guys, you need to keep it clean and unclated. One of my friends recently said that wanted to visit , and already went to the place. But , desided to give it a miss. Front area near the entrance needs to be more inviting. And then you are the vinner !

Hubby and I stayed for 2 nights. On arrival it didn’t look much so when we opened the door to our room it was a very pleasant surprise.
It was a little noisy but honestly I was so snuggled down in bed that it didn’t bother me that much.
Would we stay again? ABSOLUTELY 💯

Great venue, easy find just off the A1, Princes Highway in Gippsland, Victoria. Plenty of off street parking. We decided to eat outside in the ample sized beer garden with good table and chairs and lots of grass underfoot. Food very good at reasonable prices.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend to give it a try. We were both very very pleased with our meals. The steak is to die for. I seriously have not had a steak this good at a restaurant in a long time - it melts in your mouth! I’ve been back again with family and they’ve loved the meals here also. We will definitely be back plenty more times. Such good meals and friendly staff! Currently one of my favourite pubs.

Been here twice and both times meals have been great, customer service as well. The last night we went they were overly busy with alot going on, maybe with nights like this and knowing in advance how busy they were going to be to add extra staff for the night so customers who dine in do not have to wait up to an hour to get the meals.
Overall great place to go for meals or catch up for drinks with friends and listen to live bands as well...recommend to book a table just incase it gets busy :)

Beautiful old pub with all the charm. Very old and traditional but still warm, in and clean. The beer garden is huge. Small playground for the kids and the food was absolutely beautiful with massive portions. Staff were really friendly.

A huge Thankyou to the amazing chef..Few weeks ago we were here for lunch..Amazing meals and after a small issue with my dessert because I'm a coeliac ,the Chef whipped me up the most amazing chocolate brownie 😋

A great experience for a little country pub, it's a bit of a drive but we'll worth stopping for a meal. The meals were all of a high pub standard and a good menu selection for most omnivors. The wine and beer range was also good. Our tribe of 7 were able to find something to eat and drink easily except our vegeterian. No vegetarian main meals on offer so our one vego had to suffer with only chips and salad.
