What a disappointing way to spend $75!
3 meals ordered…. A pizza, pasta and steak. They took over 1.15 hours to arrive they were all terrible, so much that we could not finish our meal. Will not eat there again, what a let down.
Nothing like they used to be.

We were there for an end of year committee dinner and the food and service were exceptional. Not your normal pub grub so a little more expensive but worth every cent due to the exceptional quality.

Well we had never venture to this pub as we have lived in the are for 6 years and I was very impressed with the friendly bar staff. We have been again and the food is very nice, great size meal if your hungry I had crumbed pork chop with chips and salad . I would definitely recommend you try this pub to the staff here keep up the good work this is why they come back.

This was my first visit, and I was very pleased. Very comfortable and a number of seating areas for your needs. We sat in the outdoor area first up and were sheltered and airy. Lunch was delicious. Staff were very friendly, and the gaming room later was hilarious. Highly recommend 👌

This pub destroys its own local community with increased gambling harm by breaking the law multiple times.
Apart from it's illegal activities, The Royal also exposes it patrons and their families to greater risks of gambling harm..
Great job. 🏆💰

The Royal Inn is located at 61 Station Street Waratah. The Royal Inn has gone under a lot of renovations over the years and looks great.
The pub itself is spacious and has great bar areas and are well stocked, with a poker machine area, TAB, and pool table.
The dining room area is dine in and takeaway no deliveries. The menu has a great selection of items, daily specials and eating challenges all at great prices. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly, polite and efficient.
Would recommend.

The food here is so tasty, we had the vegetarian pizza, 300g rump steak (medium rare) and chicken schnitzel and each dish was delicious! Highly recommend 👌🏽

Salt and pepper squid was amazing .
Cheeseburger went down a treat .
And the hot chips omg better than any fish shop chips.

My Mum and one of her friends have been going to this In for quite awhile, it was my first time, and I had a great steak that day, will be coming back for another great steak, don't lose your chef excellent food. Thankyou

My girl and I had lunch at the Royal Inn was absolutely cooked beautifully and salads were so fresh highly recommend the food and was great value for money will definitely eat there again also staff were friendly.

My family and I eat here maybe once every month or so as it's great value and the food is delicious. We usually have the Pizzas on the day that they are all $10 (There are specials on each day of the week) and they are a decent size with lots of topping. Staff have always been friendly and the atmosphere is great, separated from the main bar area. I'd recommend it to my friends.

My crumbed veal schnitzel - crumb was way overcooked but was manageable with mushroom sauce - that was delicious!
Service was quite slow considering it wasn't very busy.
Quite overpriced for a pub.

Lunch. $16 Steak lunch special. Quality steak, cooked perfectly, excellent mushroom sauce. Great value for money!

I stopped in recently and was pleasantly surprised by the service, the bar staff are well managed and they treat you with respect, the vibes are top quality and the food is amazing.
this place is the best for a night out.

Honestly food wasn’t great, staff were pretty useless. Considering they’re constantly hiring they must be putting people with zero work ethic on. Such a shame. Should be hiring more energetic people who have the drive to work there

Great service and friendly staff great environment. Highly recommend. Had dinner and even though they were busy the food was delicious and it came out fairly quickly.

Great little place for lunch. Very clean premises and friendly staff. Reasonably priced menu. Food was delicious and servings were very generous.

Food was overcooked, laying in oil, chips were cold. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money here.

First time at the Royal and wasn't disappointed. $12 schnitzel night on a Tue, with specials everyday. Will definitely be back.

Fan of this place, not only is it my local, it's really good. Unlike another Waratah pub... Liking the food and the daily specials are yum. Sitting here typing this on a Sunday, about to enjoy a $12 roast. Beer on tap is a bit limited, mostly mainstream, I go the James Squires. Will be back! Want to sample more from the menu...

Can't say I was impressed. Dismissive staff, club style decor, not much character left in this over renovated pub. Maybe I was there at the wrong time? This was my first visit 9.30 pm and it was quiet.

Attempted the parmy eating challenge today. This is not a small plate. It is as wide as my body. It cost $35 and even if you lose the challenge it is way worth it just for the price! All the staff had smiles except the chef. He was a little short in responses but I guess that's because it was just him and he was busy. I will definitely go back there..
