Worst food I've ever paid for, we paid $55 for a seafood platter that was half cooked,cold and not edible unfortunately. The staff were minimal and the place was filthy! 1 star is generous, we saved and planned this night out on our holidays and for $200 we left hungry and beyond disappointment (hopefully without food poisoning also 🙃)

Went for lunch & was very disappointing. Had a half cold schnitzel & so called pork belly salad. 3 paper thin slices of pork (not crispy) some carrot & noodles. $24. Ripped off!!

We just came for coffee and cake. the young waitress behind the bar asked us to wait, as she needed to get some lemon. no problem. when she came back, she asked what we wanted...coffee...the she said, if we could go to the other bar, which had a queue lined up. another waitress came and served the person, who stand behind us. first waitress saw our confused faces and said to come back....we left instead. she just continued doing her lemons, no word of sorry or anything....won't spend my hard earned money at this place. supposed to be a treat for our Xmas holiday. What a shame! don't recommend at all ! where are the manners gone?

We held a music concert at the iconic Pacific Room. Jessica Ritchie, the functions manager, was fantastic! She was absolutely wonderful and made our event so much more pleasant and enjoyable. Right from the first inquiry, she was very approachable and gave clear advice. There were a couple of unforeseeable issues we had with our stage set-up and she kindly helped us sort those out. Her help with the check-in process was wonderful and so was her bar service.
We will definitely book the next function at Seabreeze Hotel again.

We celebrated my granddaughter's18th birthday in the dining room for 20 people. The catering was excellent, everyone was commenting on how great the seafood platter was, we had a meat platter as well that was delicious too. Overall the service and staff were fantastic. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay due to a weather event resulting in cancelled events and flights. I still wanted to leave a review as the staff made this a stress free and easy process to cancel when they didn't have to. We appreciate this and will be staying in the future.

Understand being busy but really disappointing when you wait an hour and can't eat the overcooked steak. Others on our table waited even longer for a well done steak that was ordered medium rare. Great location and entertainment but food was poor.

There were four of us on one table but 2 of us were almost finished & we had to ask where the other 2 meals were. They eventually came out a while later, no apology for the wait & obvious time difference to our friends. California Caesar salad had a dressing that tasted like vinegar & not Caesar & hardly had any Parmesan cheese. Came with cold corn but they were full of cold water so weren’t very nice to bite into. Would’ve been nice hot like the added prawns were. Lovely view but can’t say the same for the food & service. Live Music had way too much base even though the staff had a decibel metre & were checking it. It was way too loud for a relaxing lunch. The music that was on during the breaks was much better. On table 2 and under speakers, at times we could hear 2 lots of different music playing in the 2 different areas at the same time. Very annoying!

The Restaurant was great. Had to be the best meal I've had out in a long time. Had a family dinner and everyone's meals were great.

The experience at the seabreeze was overall, very unpleasant!
We were seated at a wet table with an open window on a rainy day, the table was also quite dirty. The water glasses were stained and the French martini glass had a lipstick stain on it.
Overall prices were quite high given the lack of service and cleanliness.
The sauce is also outrageously priced.
Staff were unhelpful and told us to just grab a menu and sit by the window.
Will not return!

Rooms a little worn, but still clean. Staff very friendly. My dogs love it here, the beach and park is just across the road. We have stayed a few times and we will be back.

Quality has decreased. We've been before and is somewhere we take guests for dinner but tonight was beyond disappointing. Asked the lady taking our order if there was anything Coeliac (gluten free but more serious) and dairy free for my mother. The lady was lovely and went and asked the chef and came back with the only suggestion which we accepted. She put on the order that the meal needed to be Coeliac and dairy free again to safe guard. When meal arrived it was sitting on a pile of deep fried chips and a side salad. We asked the waiter if the chips were Coeliac and he said no. He then went and double checked with the chef and came back saying no they weren't. We then explained the situation and he said, "It's OK, the fish was cooked separately to the chips so the fish is still ok for you to eat." But then we had to explain that as the fish was sitting on top of the chips the meal was contaminated... he took the meal away and said he would get the chef to remake the fish...
Quite a while later a plain piece of fish, a piece of lemon and two squeeze packets of Tartare sauce (which state on the packets that they contain dairy.....) and no salad.... the lady the brought it out was lovely and asked if we wanted any steamed veggies as the plate looked so sad. Mum asked if she could please have her salad back which the lady brought over straight after.
Fish end up being dry and hard which sadly makes us think it was the same piece of fish just reheated...
My meal was average and my partner's parmi was the worst he's had from here.
Don't think we will be coming back until the reviews and meals improve 😒

Ordered the Singapore Crab Bowl expecting to see crab meat cooked in a chilli sauce served on a bed of rice, as described in the menu. Instead I received a whole crab with back removed and split in half, covered in sauce on a bed of rice. No utensils were provided to get into the meat of the crab, just a knife and folk. The waitress asked the chef for a tool to use and was given a nut cracker. The crab was impossible to handle as it was slippery with sauce and over cooked when I eventually got into it. Our very understanding waitress agreed with my position and went to speak to the chef whose response was, that's the way it comes. No tray for the shells were provided or place to rinse hands, so many serviettes later, I'm off to KFC.

Ordered the $75 seafood platter, the oysters where full of shell, the lobster was stone cold. Worst food ive had in town.

Nice setting but impossible to sit outside in late afternoon due to mobs of mozzies. Moved inside, but not much better.
Salt and Pepper Calamari was not great.
Don't forget to take your aerogard!

Nice pub in beautiful location! Only had time for an afternoon drink in view of the ocean after the day in Mackay. Bar service was friendly and prompt. Seemed to have play area and facilities for the kids. Good place for relaxing afternoon beverage on the front lawns.

Lunch today. Took nearly 40 minutes. Garlic prawns firm but tasted only of cream. Meals came out sporadically. Flies almost carried us away. Feedback from other eaters that meal was okay. Just so long to get it. And the flies! Staff service at bar was good. Did I mention the flies?

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Steak and Parmi here. Delicious, came out hot and nicely cooked. Chicken was moist, steak was medium-rare (tactically ordered rare, of course). The staff working were really kind and cheery, especially the waitress. Would dine again!

Half the meals came out and an hour later still waiting for the others. When explained to staff that we were still missing 5 meals got some lame excuse and told they would be done next. Waited and waited then questioned the staff again and were told another half an hour to wait. That's an hour and a half AFTER the 1st meals arrived! Staff weren't interested at all and were extremely rude when questioned about missing meals. When missing meals finally arrived they were almost thrown at the table and were the worst meals we've ever not eaten! Not even an apology from staff when they were thrown at table. Rudest, most unco-operative staff ever and would not recommend eating there.

Had lunch here today 3rd March 2024.
Simple chicken snitty and a Porkbelly Salad (Forbidden City)
The location is very nice. The meals were unfortunately very average.
The snitty was actually near cold. The porkbelly salad was mostly noodles with 3 very thin pieces of porkbelly. Not crispy either.
3 stars guys. Not great.

Great place to go if you have kids. There is a playground with a gate so the kids can stay busy and safe while you enjoy and drink and great food right by the water

Food was good and very reasonably priced. Most of the staff were quite lovely but there’s one blonde lady behind the bar who very clearly does NOT like her job. I’ve never witnessed someone be so consistently rude to (and in front of) customers. Ordered a coffee with my partner and she quite loudly remarked to her coworker “oh great I guess I’ll leave the bar unattended to make these coffees” and then rolled her eyes in front of us. I would have been keen to return but this experience has definitely changed that.

Could be an amazing place for visitors by the beach and hotel on site but it's not loved by the owners and is basically dirty. The first room the sofa was so bad I wouldn't sit on it. The second room was better but the bathroom was just 🤮. I went and purchased bleach. Only had one chair for the dining table asked for another but never arrived after three days. I would not stay there again in current state.

Attended a reunion on Saturday night

Absolutely terrible. Mould on ceiling all through shower. Didn't even have a shower. Scared to go to sleep. Actual hotel ordered daily special an hour to get dinner and it was the special!!

Absolutely atrocious service. I waited a long and painful hour for my SIMPLE meal while everyone else at my table had their meals. Even other tables that arrived later got their food before me. Others at my table were served within minutes. As a hospitality worker i know this is not right and strongly believe their workers need to be retrained. Whilst writing this, and after asking three times, I finally received my meal… It was disappointing to say the least. You’d think after waiting this long, they would remember the gravy. They did not. I understand mistakes happen, but this is just too far. Not happy.
