We went for dinner last Saturday 16/03/24
I can't believe in this day and age that we were overcharged for tasteless food,how do you make soup dumplings with no soup in it and the BBQ meat was all dry. I remember now why it has only been my second time at a place within 35min from my place,the next time I'm better off driving to Rockdale for BBQ.

Went to check out the new section called The Precinct at Shelly's and I was blown away, the lighting, ambiance and atmosphere were awesome!! Such a great place to go if you want a casual drink and a bite to eat, the food stalls were so cool, it was like being in an international street market somewhere. It's a great place to take the kids if you want to relax while they play in the epic kids area, you kind of even forget they're there with you lol. The only downside which I think could be improved was more efficient bar service, but all in all we had a great experience there and will definitely be going back there sometime soon!! Great job Shelly's definitely thinking outside the box!!!

Went to burgers shakes and fries, first time ever I was disappointed. One hour wait for an over cooked burger.
Hopefully it was just an off night because normally great burgers.

Went there today to do my CPR and First Aid course. Board rooms where we did course were spacious and clean. The club itself was very nice, all new seating areas, lots of places to eat ranging from a quick bite to eat at the Cafe, through to pizza, burgers as well as main bistro area. Very impressed. Membership is only $10 for 12mths or $20 for 3yrs

Went for my nephew's 30.
5 star prices for 1 star food !!
The meal cost $35, slow cooked pork shoulder was gross. So dry it was hard to get it down. Half a pickle, 1 mouthfull of undressed slaw and rubbish beans.
No flavour at all.
Loaded potatoes at $15 for 2 burnt spuds. Absolute garbage.
$10 for 2 lemonades
$13.60 for 2 SMALL coffee's and that included $1.50 for lactose free milk as my wife is lactose intolerant.
Lift your game if you want to charge so much.
Never going there again !!!

We dinned here for lunch around 1 month ago, they had technical issues & the printer stopped printing the food dockets in the kitchen.
Seriously for how bad it looked around 60 people still waiting for their food, you guys all got together & really pushed out the food. Great team work!
We waited over 2 hours for lunch. The staff were so apologetic & they discounted our food for us which was very kind. Sometimes things go wrong.
The food isn’t my style, it’s fast “club” food. Did I like it, no I didn’t and it is over priced.
That’s my taste in food thou. Not the clubs issue. Would be wonderful to see some “clean food” except from the steak.
The Shellharbour Club is great for family’s as there is, 2 different play parks (areas) for children.
The money they have spent on the upgrade would have been well & truly over 1 million dollars.
I love the new look & vibe.
Great spot to catch up with friends & their small children.

We came to shellharbour club today to have lunch joint the club With the intentions of returningThat won't be happening as we Return our membership cards to the front desk Before leaving the meals we ordered were well
below standard the fish was so dry the prices are so over priced we paid for full priced meals and got lunch specials they gave us back half price for 1 meal not the other very dissatisfied will not return or recommend.

Very disappointed in the meal here last weekend.
Lasagna serve was miniscule, compared to the side of deep fried bread on the plate and soft salad. Steak was not worth the price, very tough and chewy. Atmosphere had nothing.

Unfortunately, our experience was unfulfilling to say the least, & we won't be back. Expensive eggplant parmigiana that was rock hard & bitter, meaning the eggplant was under cooked. The return & feedback fell on deaf ears & blank faces. No refund or any sort of professional hospitality offered to recover from the all round poor occurrence.
A soft drink $5.90...robbery & apparently, not available in a schooner glass. Again, blank face & no manager to speak to as they were 'busy'.
It is totally understandable that these tough times have made it difficult, but things don't get cheaper when you take away the quality of the cooking process & provide poor hospitality. Paying a little more is fine when the quality is good, but there is a lot of work to do at the Shellharbour Club.
Thankfully the entertainment was fantastic.

This used to be a great club. However recently things have changed and it's no longer pleasant. Very overpriced for the quality you receive. The chicken parmigiana in the bistro was disgusting.

The food was delicious and came out quick for how busy they were. However, we chose here for the kids playground and it was awful. Unattended kids screaming, pushing and uncontrolled - we couldn’t use the space for our young kids. I wouldn’t recommence for anyone with kids under 6.

The atmosphere on a Saturday night is brilliant, It's booming and everyone's go-to club. Live music was a hit, for was great and came out quick despite the hundreds of other people also waiting. I would love to say the same about our experience on Friday, the night before but it simply wasn't a good experience. We had ordered "chicken tenders" that were able to be broken in half very easily because of how dry and over cooked they were, the parpadelle boscaiola was tasteless and i added my own seasoning . We also ordered a spicy chicken burger and knew what we were expecting but it had no flavour, just extreme heat which was abit disappointing. Albeit the food came out quickly. I wouldn't expect the food to be double cooked or poorly seasoned when the club only had maximum 60 people all round inside. Saturday was a great night, ill return on saturdays.

So many food options from many different restaurants and eateries! The choices are endless.
Great play area inside the Precinct for the kids so you can let them run free while you enjoy a cocktail/mocktail while still supervising from the seating area.
There’s a large comfortable seating area with a large screen and huge fireplace that for adults only too in the main part of the complex.
If you’re so inclined there’s pokies galore and also a bar area.
Worth taking the whole family out for.

Restaurant 56, had to wait half an hour online just to place the order and the same for the food. Now the food was real let down. Lamb shank in the red wine with broccli and carrots.The wasnt hot barely warm raw carrots and tough chewy lamb shank. Not in any way hurry to return.

Refused entry due to being 'too intoxicated' however, walked into the venue with two other members who were let in, despite us only having a few drinks from the football, male worker at reception was rude and aggressive towards myself despite just presenting ID and my membership club. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from staff. Security admitted the staff were unreasonable. I believe the staff were discriminatory due to allowing to of my Caucasian friends in but not allowing myself (dark skin and tattoos) entry despite having the same amount of small drinks prior. I will take further action against member violating discriminatory laws.

Love burgers and fries, recommend the khan you handle it for a mad big feed. The chef is awesome and great to have a chat to and is very passionate. Highly recommended.

Located on the corner of Wattle & Shellharbour Roads, Shellharbour, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a really great club. I had a beautiful chicken schnitzel that was beautifully cooked. The layout of the club was really nice, wheelchair friendly and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place without hesitation

It was mothers day, busy other places so glad we visited Shelly's. Raining, seat by fire, live music from Nullibi, so good and the best pizza.

I had dory Fish on the 2nd of March,
And had to take it back, because it didn’t taste like fish. Instead, it tasted like oil. If you’ve had your gallbladder out and you have too much oil, it stuffs you over. Inform the chef and the attitude he gave me. He didn’t care, but the waitress was kind and gave me a refund.

If I could rate it zero stars I would. Ridiculous! It’s actually disappointing how long it took to get our food. 3 hours for food that doesn't even taste good and really expensive. If you can’t handle that many people don’t let them in and tell them how long it will take then keep on telling everyone “Oh it will be coming in 10 mins” 3 hours later. Never coming back.

Have been here quiet a few times here and have enjoyed every meal so far, very generous portion sizes the atmosphere is great, so many options to choose from and the meals come out quick :)

Have been down the south coast on holidays for the last 3 days,in that time I have visited 2 other clubs for dinner as well as Shellharbour club,I have found the meals in all 3 clubs substandard definitely not worth the money,the menu's should have a lot more variety plus the size of the meal could be bigger and cheaper!! At the Shellharbour club I ordered the beer battered flat head fish ,the fish was no bigger than fish fingers from a frozen packet.

Encountered one of the rudest women in the children’s section of the eatery. I bought my daughter’s desert from the desert bar and noticed the young lady hadn’t changed her gloves from the previous 4 customers and was in fact handling money and food. I kindly asked the lady to change her gloves and was met with a rude response. The lady did not see an issue with handling money and food with the same gloves for multiple customers but was rolling her eyes at the customers behind me and apologised to them for the wait as the lady (me) made her change her gloves (which takes 10 seconds mind you). I was left embarrassed in front of my children and I said sorry for asking you to change your gloves.
Really disappointed in the customer service.

Best burgers, chips and chicken tenders we've had in a long time. The food from the burger place is always top notch even when they're slammed. The chefs in the kitchen are friendly and seem to genuinely love what they do because it reflects in the amazing food. 5/5 will definitely continue coming here.

Beautiful place. Very kind too, I went there after work covered in mud and they had no problems for it. 9/10 service and food 10/10 atmosphere (I'm not in the photos)

Amazing dining experience at the club and WOW how good is the new menu! All cooked and presented to high end quality.which would equal or exceed other local high end restaurants. Well done team ‘FiftySix’

Absolutely disgusting food ! Very disappointing experience. One staff member was rude and unhelpful when we ordered our food. The food was very expensive for what was ordered and the pumpkin meal was suppose to be cooked for 16 hours which should indicate that it was cooked properly but it was rock hard, we actually pointed it out to the service staff and they agreed it was not cooked although no one came to apologize or discuss the issue ! I would definitely not recommend this club when there are many other clubs in the area offering better food, value and more courteous staff.
