Went on a week day and the pub was doing a good trade, the food on other tables look decent. The food we had was hot and full of flavour. Kids meals were pretty good. Kids quote " Best chips I've had in awhile"

We have had dinner here a few times and I always get the st Kilda catch, very well plated and definitely the best seafood offering at a pub in Adelaide, great location as we take our 3 year old to the st Kilda playground before or afterwards.

We camped overnight at the playground so came in for a few beers and a pub meal. Beers were cold with a good tap selection. We ordered half size schnitzel & salt & pepper squid both with a fresh salad & chips. Pub was clean and well presented. We enjoyed our time here and would return when we travel back this way

The St kilda beach Hotel has a schnitzel night on both Monday and Tuesday, including a popular schnitzel trio (three separate schnitzels: chicken, beef, pork or squid) for only around $16. The serving size of the schnitzel is as big as you will find anywhere, very generous. A good crumb and the meat is not paper thin like some places, if you like a good schnitty, definitely come on the schnitzel night, although it can be busy so book ahead. We came on a Friday this time to try the Ribs on the 'Ribs night', however they where not available due to unforseen circumstances. The place was pretty busy tonight, the girls that where working where absolutely flat out, it looked like they might have been short staffed ( like a lot of places currently due to covid). But they did a great job getting all the orders right, the food came out quickly despite how busy it was, so I was very impressed. As the ribs weren't available I had the 300g steak medium rare. It was cooked just as it should be, the mushroom gravy and potatoes are on the saltier side, but not an issues if you have some table water or beer. All in all, I'm yet to have a bad experience at this hotel, and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a good value and good quality pub meal

The pub was going under renovations during the visit. I was advised to check this place out from a couple colleagues who highly rated the food. 1. Chicken Killpatrick Schnitzel - Mostly tender, dry in parts. Big slabs of bacon rather than diced was the option the kitchen went for. Generous serving. Chips standard pub style. 3/5 2. Seafood plate - prawns thawed seemed liked pre bought cooked tiger prawns. Passable for a pub style. Squid, a little on the mush side and lacking seasoning. Fish, a little on the dry side. Oysters yeah, okay not fresh but decent. 2.5/5 Service 4/5 standard pub service. Highlight of the visit was a good view point though decor seemed dated. Friendly folk and really good pricing for the portion to be honest.

Saturday night full of people, warm atmosphere. Dining room quite small and packed though. Better to book a table beforehand. Great foods, good prices. Entrée came out very quick. Squid was very soft, grilled fish so juicy. Caesar salad had lots of cheese, the anchovies were not too salty. Everything was nicely cooked, except side salad had no dressing.

Popped in for lunch after a playground visit. Happy with my meal but hubby said his roast turkey was a little dry. It’s a nice quiet pub at lunchtime.

Mid week lunch date, seafood trio with garlic bread, seafood fresh and cooked perfectly. Great fresh basic salad and garlic bread top notch 👌 Atmosphere poor. Loud front bar patrons being crude audible throughout hotel, very unpleasant with older patrons trying to enjoy their meal. Would have been nice for staff to step in and say something or establishment should consider reconfiguring the areas.

I was really impressed with the staff, they only had a couple working and they worked fast and efficiently. They were polite at all times and dealt with any issues with ease. The food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant . We had about 18 people in our group, celebrating a birthday. We will go there again sometime.

Had a lunchtime meal, schnitzels all round, a bottle of wine and finishing off with sticky date pudding. All meals were fresh and of good quality with a nice view. Staff were great, friendly and accommodating, but you could see they were understaffed. A stones throw from the awesome StKilda playground, a great place to have a good pub meal before or after wearing out the kids at the playground.

Great place to eat. It got squally outside and they let us bring our dog inside to eat with us. We had a chicken and beef schnitty . Absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favour and hit the St Kilda hotel. Great view too🌞👌🏻👍🏻

Great meals. Extremely well priced. Busy - so suggest making a booking so as not to be disappointed if they are booked out. LARGE proportioned meals - great sized meals for the price.

Gave it another go, after being disappointed twice previously. Dissatisfied, beef Wagyu snitzel, very thin, tasteless Luke warm as was the sea food topping. Chips hot, but so salty, they were inedible. Side dish of haloumi Fry's, same so sallty, needed to be served with a slice of lemon. Was a great place for meals 3, 4 years ago. Don't know what happened, will not be back.

Food was very good. Seafood Basket for myself and a Chicken Schnitzel for my wife. Service was good and speedy. Chicken was delicious but the only thing I could complain about was my chips were warm and soggy not hot and crispy. We would go again.

First of all I wish I could this a zero honestly and Hi I came in here at 6:37 with my family to celebrate my nonno 90th birthday party and I started by walking in and seeing that we were stuck in a corner that was very hot and spacious we order a bottle of mascot with two glasses four beers and three cokes and a cruiser then garlic prawn, chickens schnitzel and steak and salmon. The garlic prawn was very greasy and the rice didn’t look cooked as I ordered this twice now and it smelt very bad and the salmon looked plain and dry then the salad was very greasy and we said no onion gluten free and dairy free paid extra for the order last and wrong when they should send the food together if allergies. The steak was very chewy half cooked and half raw that not what you call chef style and the chips was plain and the salad the only good thing was the gravy the chicken schezjule was alright the salad was plain. The service was very rude and the lady was quite aggressive and harsh. Food is honestly better up in the city than the country.

Early Mothers Day lunch. With a party of 8, we met at the St kilda hotel, not having been before. It was busy, perks inside abc out. We shared some garlic bread and a trio of dips. Both were OK, but the dips could use a bit better presentation...I did like it served with corn chips, though. For mains, I had the stuffed chicken breast. It was tender and juicy stuffed with mushroom and bacon. Smothered in garlic sauce on a sweet potato snitzel. A yummy dish I would have again.

Dined here for the first time at the weekend for a birthday lunch. Food was outstanding.Highly recommend the beef stir fry & the warm chicken salad. Also the cheese garlic bread. Service was very fast. Staff were very friendly. Had a win on the pokies so what could be better. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bloody monster schnitzel! I had the beef, others had the chicken. All were very happy with them, well cooked and good flavour. The topping on the chicken was prized. Friendly staff. Not ce views on a cold winters day

A very nice experience at this place today for lunch. This place has the best hospitality staff. Erin was fantastic from start to finish. Catering to our dietary needs and even going as far as offering ice cubes to cool down daughters hot tea cup. The food came out fast and was really nice. The half chicken schnitzel was a really good size everyone left feeling full.

Always a delicious schnitzel, chips and salad at the St Kilda Pub. Waited about 15-20 mins for our meal, just long enough to have a drink and chat. We visit every few weeks. Need to book as the words out! Nice friendly staff. Keep up the great work.
