Wow, this place has come a long way! Would highly recommend their function room. The staff were amazing and so accommodating in the lead up to our event and on the night. Delicious, fresh meals at reasonable prices in a bright and airy atmosphere.

went in the night before with my id and got a beer then got rejected the next night by same bartender. ordered food and waited 50 minutes while i’m starving as they forgot about it and came out cold and all i get is a sorry. definitely worst pub when it come to food and service i’ve experienced

We have recently rediscovered The Sun Hotel and have visited on a few seperate occasions for dinner. Very happy with the service and meals. The recent renovations have seen the restaurant and bar updated and it has added toward an improved the atmosphere. I would recommend The Sun for a family or friends get together equally as a couples night out!

They managed to lose three separate orders and had to chase them up after waiting 35 minutes. Very disappointed.

The staff is friendly and professional, The compassion and respect I've received every time I'm there is really great 👍🏾
Plus The Free soft drinks in the pokies lounge is awesome 👍🏾
And The food is ridiculously freaking delicious 😋🤤😁🙏

Quick service. Had the Rich Beef Lasagne however there was barely any meat in the Lasagne. Was just cheese and pasta. Salad was pretty disappointing as well.

Massive meals. Cold drinks. Easy to find parking. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and tidy and great selection of meals. What more could you want. Oh and .... best damn chicken scollapini I've ever had.... the Battered mackerel, chips and salad was a hit too👍 👌

Made an error when ordering my meal (completely my fault). It was no issue at all for the service attendants and manager to quickly make the change. The meals come out hot, cooked well and quite quickly. This service is why we keep returning.

Just had our Daughters 18th in the function room. Platters were fantastic staff couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.

I went in for dinner & ordered chips & gravy & my friend got fish & chips.the chips were these tiny little fries like McDonald's fries.i paid $10 I think for fries.as a chef you have to do better than saying chips with gravy when it's just French fries.itscjust not good enough.my friend said her fish wasn't very good either

I really enjoyed my nice tender juicy chicken burger with chips😋
Staff members were friendly, but bit difficult to catch from the table.

I ordered the burger/chips the bun wasn't fresh the burger meat was still raw half the chips were hot the other half warm to cold and waited 50 minutes for our lunch, my friend ordered prawns served with rice she ate one prawn tried eating a second prawn gaged and spat it out the rice was cold the sauce it came in was like water. All in all not nice at all will not go back there.
Got my money back and left disappointed.

Had affordable seniors meal of garlic prawns. Delicious sauce. Decent size prawns. Served hot. a little bit noisy but to be expected if well patronised would suggest booking because even lunch on tuesday was busy. First time there since renovations completed but will be returning. Gaming room also tastefully refurbished

Great place to meet your friends. We had a Multiple Sclerosis buddies luncheon today.
Lots of space for wheelchair disabilities. Toilets close by even disabled.
Food great. Staff very friendly. Even met an Italian waiter named Matao.
Plenty of parking.

Friendly efficient service. Huge meals so not overpriced. Members discounts are good. Small beer selection on tap but good wine selection and some spirits. The best thing was the meal was lovely. Big Lamb shank perfectly cooked. Firm peas. Mashed Spud was good and not reconstituted.

Dinner last night at The Sun. The meals were great sizes. The fish and chips pictured here was a small. The pasta with prawns was delicious.
The staff was friendly and the delivery of the meals were fast and well presented.
Renovations due to begin on the 8th or 9th of October for about 2 months so get in fast if you’re in the area now.
Our first visit and looking forward to going back!

Beers were cold and other drinks were well received. Food? The crumbed fish was overcooked and dry. Chicken curry was nice but lacked additional sauce to soak into the rice.
