We went to The Surfy for drinks and a meal on their big open deck. Nice space with a refreshing ocean breeze to cool us after spending some time on Four Mile Beach.The food is excellent and affordable too. Great venue.

We ordered a butter chicken curry and we didn't expect that... it was awesome! Staff very friendly and the place in general super chill with the beach in less than 30 seconds... really enjoyed that! Thank you!!

We had the Crispy Prawn Sushi Roll and the specials - edamame a bucket of peel-n-eat prawns. It was delicious! Service was a bit odd/disjointed but friendly. We arrived to a sign "Please wait to be seated", but nobody ever came to seat anyone. Once we picked up a menu and seated ourselves, we had to go to the cash register to place our food order and to the bar to place the beverage order. A server brought our food to the table promptly. And the food was excellent, the portions seemed very generous and the restaurant was in a perfect location by Four Mile Beach.

Very reasonable prices and lots of options. Unfortunately half of the menu was unavailable for lunch and not easy to get service. Food was super fresh and tasty.

Very delicious food. Probably need to book because of restricted numbers. Staff friendly and helpful. Came back again after 3 years. The food is still excellent. I still recommend booking as it is so popular.

This is great beach side place to eat.
Food is excellent and presented well.
Crunchy Roll (Sushi) was just brilliant.
Coffee was excellent and the young staff just fantastic. Right on the beach, so it's hard to think of a better location in Port Douglas. We have a couple days left in our break, so we will be back.

The food was lovely , fresh Vietnamese salad with well cooked pork.
Kids menu was also great , a nice selection of Bolognese , chicken nuggets or fish and chips .
The food was reasonably price and we had a beautiful view of the beach .
Service with a smile 😊 we will be returning in the future .

Service was a bit average I ordered a cappuccino and then the young girl disappeared for about 10 mins. I finally got my coffee and the coffee was about the same as the service. I’ll try across the road next time. She didn’t clean the frothing wand between coffees and it had a few layers of previous milk cooked onto it.

Paying for the atmosphere - outside seating with a vibey setting. Got the coral fish tacos - they were a very average fried fish taco. Tacos did the job but nothing special to write home about. The passion fruit mojito was delicious & garlic bread was very cheesy. You order at the register so it’s a super easy place to go if splitting the bill between different groups.

Not going to lie. Meals took a long time to get out. Half the menu was false tried to order coral trout tacos was told it would be served with potato chips instead of tortilla chips then tried to order the pork belly instead also not available then ordered steak gravy wasn’t an option. Steak was good when it arrived. Beers were cold and good location 4 out of 5 isn’t bad it’s just not 5

Nice spot for lunch.
We had the tempura prawn sushi roll, crispy skinned salmon, and the salt and pepper squid. All the meals were of a good quality and moderate portion size.

Loved it.
Friendly people, super relaxed place and (surprisingly) amazing food,
right next to the beach. The trout tacos and crunchy prawn sushi rolls were fantastic. $5 Perroni bottles also helped!
Highly recommend.

I stopped by to grab some coffees after a swim at the beach. Staff were fast and friendly, particularly loved the high energy from the manager who greeted everyone. Conveniently located next to the beach and near town centre.

Happy hour cocktails 🍸 Beautiful food, beautiful views & Nice lady at the counter. The chilli 🌶 passion fruit margherita cocktail was soooo good 👍 😋 👌 it's my fav spot when we visit here!!

Had a fantastic relaxed Sunday night at the Surf Club. As always the food was delicious fresh and great value. The Surf Club is a very busy restaurant in the early sitting at 6pm-730pm with families and groups to see the beach view. So try to make a booking buy a nice bottle of red or a cocktail relax and enjoy your time.

Great menu, food was so fresh and delicious. Can highly recommend the Fish Tacos and Bao Buns. Enough for 2 of us to share. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again if had time while on holidays. Right on the Beach.

Great little spot for happy hour beers. We’ve also visited for dinner. I had fish and chips and the wife had prawn and chorizo linguini. Very happy with both. Staff were very attentive too. Highly recommended.

Great little setting near the beach with the calming sounds of the waves in the background. A gentle sea breeze rolling in. Amazing spot that matches the amazing service and amazing food. Everything we had was yummy and we would definitely be back.

Gorgeous location. The coffee was really good. Perfect amount of milk foam on the cappuccino and excellent amount of chocolate topping. However, the food was pretty average, and the staff were not overly friendly, hence the 3 stars. This wasn't what I expected for such a gorgeous looking place. The tacos served with chips were a bit strange - was not expecting that. The chicken burger had wayyyy too much mayo and the chicken was so dry.

Came back again during our trip and enjoyed it just as much. A fantastic option for the family with the kids able to play on the adjacent grass field.
The food and drinks were just as good as before.

Burgers
A trendy burger with a great taste. This place is lively and the food matches the service in excellence on beach front setting and amazing atmospheric heaven . The patty taste was too heavy. It's been awhile since I enjoyed such a nice atmosphere and nice steak at once.

Been in port douglas for a week now and this is the 2nd decent place i have been at, we had the crispy salmon, tuna tataki and sushi. The salmon and tuna were excellent and much better than all the glorified places on the city center .
Just a gorgeous place with good food that does not consist only of pub fried junk.

A few weeks ago Dad and I decided to drive up to Port Douglas for lunch for a change, and found ourselves at @thesurfyportdouglas
He got the Fish, Chips & Salad and I had the Baja Fish Tacos. Absolutely divine! MASSIVE portions and everything was a 10/10, even though I had to make changes to my tacos due to my egg allergy, so I was missing the chipotle slaw but honestly, they were perfect the way I had them. I’ve been dreaming about these ever since and will definitely come back to have them again!
