Wow! Probably the best sticky date pudding I've had. Plenty of sauce, moist cake and finely chopped dates. Highly recommend. Burger was mouth watering. Also, friendly atmosphere and had a good sports bar to watch the football.

What a great meal. We had the best Parma, great bottle wine (recommended by waitress), and a New York Cheese Cake to die for. Good value Parma @ $32 … staff were friendly, will be back again soon.

Went here for a party, bartenders were super fun, forgot to say goodbye but great service to them!

This place seems to be only catering for gamblers (bets and pokies) and sports enthusiasts. There is no ambience no music only dog or horse races on speakers...Even on a Friday night there is never more than 20 people who seem to leave early to go elsewhere.

The Tower Hotel has very kind, caring and understanding staff there and good machines and drinks
They offer a classy array of everything you'd want to expect
If you've had too much while they can't legally offer you anymore they are so courteous and generous still and polite, I urge you to reciprocate if that happens and continue to enjoy the pleasant ambience
A great social location to meet new people also

The food is quite good.
Havent been there for years after being a regular with its disappointing gap betwwen meal deliveries per person.
Goung back to make sure the food was not a fluke😅,the service from bar staff is friendly and good to excellent.

The food is actually really good quality. Not your usual pub standard food it’s actually really tasty and high quality.
I’m fussy too so I definitely recommend this place.
They play the NFL on the TV here too so my husband is happy!

The best fries ever seriously, and the wagyu burger is maybe the best in Melbourne. Ribs the best we've had too, we can't have ribs anywhere else now. Service with a smile too. Screens off on a Friday night not great though.

Shout out to the team at the Tower Hotel. We went down there for dinner this evening and both the food and the service were excellent. It’s also very reasonably priced. It was my first visit back there in many years. Definitely worth checking out.

Recently moved to the area and decided to go there for lunch, as I'd previously dropped in for a beer and the menu looked good. Arrived, and along with some other patrons had to wait 5 minutes to get served (wasn't even busy. Got served and ordered food. Anyway, after 20 minutes, still no food, went to the bar to order a beer and continue waiting, gave up on the beer after another 5 minutes and returned to my seat. Waited another long 10 minutes for food and ended up just leaving. Don't waste your time going here, head over to the Auburn Hotel, they'd never make these mistakes.

Really not good. Been a local coming here briefly for years. Had a couple of really bad experiences the last 2 times and will not be back. Specials advertised are always wrong and different from the price when you go to pay.

Pretty average pub, but always a good one to show up too and have a couple beers. Food is pretty good and other customers are always up for a chat.

Meals are fantastic. Staff are fantastic and service is spectacular. Frank is very welcoming and always happy and chats with us all the time. Best pub in hawthorn East.

I had the pleasure of attending a 30 year reunion at the Tower hotel on Saturday, the facilities were fantastic, the food was great and the staff were as inviting and engaging as you'd wish, a fantastic time was had by all, thank you so much Tower, you were the best.

I can't believe the chef who is the BOSS says this beef is medium. It is well done. I could not accept $48 FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS. they were not even paid me back . What a dump chef.

Had 3 x meals + garlic cheese pizza and the food was awesome. Partner said it was the best Parma he's ever had plus the dough on the pizza was perfect

Good value for 25 buck steak and Pot deal. But otherwise nothing really to be happy about. Ordered Medium and got a well done steak. Little chips to come with. Almost an hour after i placed the order. It's ok to come alone, for a casual average lunch. Not for Friday group lunch and definitely not for Christmas team lunch, unless you have the half day off

Gina, the hostess, was absolutely fantastic. Never had I seen a service like that before. We had a group booking on Saturday night. She made sure everyone's order was correctly delivered. unexpectedly, and food was delicious!!

First of all, if this listing is for the pub, they have a restaurant area in the same premises, and the food comes from the same kitchen, so, anything you see here in my review you can get it at the pub too
The Tower is an all in one hotel, restaurant, pub, and pokies (gambling machines)
I personally sat at the restaurant
The menu has lots to choose from: it has appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas, pasta, risotto, and other mains, sides, kids menus, desserts...
Lots of alcoholic drink options indeed, beer, wines, and liquors
They have drinks specials, and food specials that change everyday
Personally I went for
- orange juice
- pear, rocket and walnut salad, with lots of walnuts
- linguine vongole, with lots of clams
- apple & rhubarb crumble
Every food item came in a generous portion , was yummy, and looked super good too (always a good sign to me, if they take extra time to make it look good, you can understand they care a lot about the taste)
The person in charge of attending customers, Gina, is lovely, very good first impression on my side, and I could see/hear she had returning guests, which she cared a lot about too
While the guys in the kitchen are well efficient too
With the same for served in both spaces, you can choose to eat in the restaurant if you want a relaxed place, or in the bar if you're more into meeting a crowd. Oh, and there's a terrace too
Basically, lots of options about the atmosphere you wanna get, and the food and drinks you wanna get, great food, nice presentation, friendly and efficient staff... highly recommended!

Con from the pokies room is an absolute legend. The way he welcomes patrons, watches and encourages wins as well as provides drinks and food is second to none. Thank you so much. The drive through service is also second to none with Con and the boys providing the best service and advice. Good parking and great friendly locals.
