Worst meal I've ever had. Out of 7 meals none of us enjoyed our food. The bread rolls were frozen in the middle. The salad bar was mostly empty. I had chicken that tasted like soap. The meals also took forever to come out even though the restaurant was mostly empty. The food made me feel nauseous. Will never go back there.

Went for a birthday dinner, great prices, food was decent, salad bar was fresh & nice. Shame that pokies is their biggest thing, but still, service was good, meals came quickly after ordering. Only down fall on a Friday night there was no music but it seems to be a common thing across 'Adelaide' these days, not even background music

Visited this establishment on Wednesday evening 19/4/23 & witnessed some of the most appalling behaviour by a hotel employee that I have ever seen in my entire life. It was a cold evening & the seating arrangement adjacent the outdoor heaters had recently been altered. A patron approached me & asked me, why are there no seats near the heater? I responded with , I’m not sure, this is a new arrangement, the patron told me he was cold & it is affecting his heart condition, So i suggested he move a chair in front of the heater for his own comfort & well being. Not long after that the bartender came out ( Aaron ) & flipped his lid about there having been a chair moved, when I approached Aaron,
(the bartender) & asked him why can’t this patron with a heart condition sit adjacent the heater?, his response was
“ BECAUSE I MAKE THE RULES HERE”
& then proceeded to remove the chair, then when I asked Aaron the reasoning for his decision he was unable to provide me with an appropriate response & proceeded to announce in a highly rude manner in front of several other patrons,that i am now cut off from receiving any further service at this establishment tonight, when I disputed his announcement he told me i now have to leave the premises, & when I told him this is unfair, Aaron, the bartender said to me
“ I SO WANT TO PUNCH YOU IN THE THROAT RIGHT NOW ! & he also said
I have your personal details via the J card ( loyalty card ),
If this is the type of unhinged employee that this company chooses to employ, something is seriously wrong here, so if you would like to be threatened with serious bodily injury & assault from Aaron ( the front bar bartender ) for caring about the well being of other patrons, you should visit this establishment. Turns out he ended up calling the police on me & apparently, if you are told to leave an establishment, there is nothing you can do about it , & the removal order stands, no matter the situation, 48 hours later I revisited this outlet Aaron then said to me (without any prior notification ) that I am no longer welcome here & am now barred, when I reported the incident to management Aaron completely lied to our faces & said he did not say that ! The most concerning part of this disgusting situation people, is that Aaron ( the unhinged front bartender)

Very unimpressed.
There was a hair in our dessert. (Couldent of been ours wrong colour and length)
The good was extremely bland.
Every thing on the tiny salad bar had no flavor.
The stake was undercooked as far as I'm concerned.
The chips had no seasoning (salt)
We couldent taste the garlic on the cheesy garlic bread, it did have a good cheese stretch but that's one of the only positive concerning the food.
The other positive concerning the food was the chicken schnitzel was nice and crunchy but wasent filling.
The wait for the food was long even though it wasent too busy.
Friendly staff.
But I wouldent come back again.
(There was 4 pieces of cheesy garlic bread that came out but we are two pieces before the photo was taken because we where really hungry because of the long wait)

They used to have a beautiful and amazing chickpea burger that I made vegan when I ordered it. They then added a vegan burger to their menu with eggplant and got rid of the chickpea burger. The eggplant burger was not great, came out cold and tasted very bland. I never went back. Clearly the burger didn't do well with customers, they now have a mushroom burger on their menu that is vegetarian and seemingly can't be made vegan too because the mushrooms are butter braised. This used to be my favourite place to eat as a vegan, but sadly it isn't anymore.
If you aren't vegan and are just looking for a place to eat that serves good food and is reasonably priced, I would recommend. They were always friendly and I never had a bad experience whilst eating here.

The venue has changed over years since I've last been.. the days or was located next door in the function room, had a great salad and veg bar, this unfortunately is a bland salad arrangement with bought in salad mixes that really didn't appeal. . Unfortunately our meals didn't really represent the price they were asking for, and small attention to details such as cold chips and undercooked chicken schnitzel.. pity used to be known for really good quality food we left disappointed hoping for better.

The 300 Gram Rump Stake is good value for money and is properly prepared and super tasty, with super friendly staff. The free salad bar was not nice though. Cold pasta, salad and not much more, it is a pity, because a potato bake would make all the difference. All in a nice meal, with friendly staff and good value.

Table of 12 booked for Tuesday Pasta Night. Not busy but still waited ages for food to arrive. Terrible service (one poor girl seemed to be doing all the work while the others stood around gossiping) & very ordinary food (all pasta dishes inedible). Has really gone downhill recently. Won't be back.

Stop following me, tracing, tracking and documenting my every fkn movement! I stopped by to ask the time if you must know, the bloke who works at said establishment enlightened me with what time of day it was, and I was on my way, with a couple roadys. Roadys were cold which is obviously a good thing. The joint looks a bit la di da di dah for my liking, but hey, each to their own. I dont rate it any more than 3 thumbs down...minus the 1 star I have had to put up to then inturn post this jargon. Enjoy being stalked at this joint much? Nah I dont enjoy being stalked at all, but thanks for asking ffs

Service was fair
I had a mixed grill which i have had better at a truck stop.
The atmosphere was quite,except for the sound of the pokle machines.
My wife had panko prawns straight out the freezer along with the packet fries the salad bar was ordinary i sugest the cook should check out some of the other local pubs in the area for some fresh ideas.

Sad to say, there were 2 men working at the pokies bar area Friday night. The blonde haired guy was professional and welcoming... then comes the other worker with brownish hair, tall he was so arrogant, rude, unwelcoming , disrespectful, cocky a real disgrace to society. Just typing this makes my blood boil. Get rid of him and the place will be much better off.

Really friendly front bar. Great service, locals are friendly and I had the best Pint and Parmy I have ever had there today. Good to see a pub doing it right

Now this is what its about! The new menu, new dining room is awesome! Worth coming here - amazing food. We had stopped coming here about 6 months ago...but now - New Chef, New Menu. WOW! We are back! Well done! If you havent been back for a while ...Give it another go! You wont be disappointed! Beats most of the pubs in the vacinity for good food!

No longer has a proper kitchen which is sad, but still a nice place to use pokies.
Iscea at the bar made me a Espresso martini which was excellent, better than my own.

Just a note for the staff here: Starters are supposed to come out before the mains. All the meal took ages to come out and one had a piece of capsicum on top with mould on it!
Servers need to speak louder as no one on the table could hear them when calling out the orders. Definitely will not be coming back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Probably the worst place I've ever eaten at. Ordered chicken schnitzels and chips, was cold and very greasy and had absolutely no flavour. Chicken was uncooked and gravy was just like water with thick clumps of slime and fat. Walked out having only eaten the cold chips. Staff were unfriendly and very scruffily dressed! I paid $45 for 2 chicken schnitzel and 2 lemon lime bitters. It's not the first time I've eaten here, last time I had uncooked chicken satay skewers that I had to send back 2x about 8mths ago, thought we'd give it another chance and go for basic schnitzel but wish we hadn't. Don't waste your money or time.

Great place to sit back enjoy a drink. Also dining is a great pub menu. Nice comfortable atmosphere, casual relax and easy going. The staff are great always trying to help you serve you.
Just go and see for yourself.

Great food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Only 2 issues.
1) The roast beef had lots of fat on it. At least a 1/4 was just fat! I had the crumbed flat head fish fillets. I couldn't fault my dish. Very tasty?
2) Our friends and myself did not receive the correct 25% discount off our total bills with our vouchers. Once our bills were queried we both received $$ cash back!

Excellent value for food, eg Front bar special, lunch (rump/ schnitzel/ fish n chips etc) and a pint, $15. Salad bar included. Otherwise, your standard suburban pub.

Attended a private function with 5 tables each approx had 10 people give or take.
There was no variations allowed in the menu, we had some people over 90 years old on our table that had restricted diets and just needed to swap salad to soft vegetables. They were told a firm no, it's not on. I would suggest looking at that, as they were all quite upset and only able to order 1 thing from the menu.
My children had to pay set menu price and could only order from the set menu. I ask seriously - it cost $40 just for my 2 children to eat. They were given a massive serve of fish and chips and the other a snitzel that was no word of a lie twice the size of her head. Not only was it a complete waste of food, but money too. AND they served the children their food last!
It was the most ridiculous service time. It took 2 hours from the first plate of food being delivered (thankfully my table) to the last plates which unfortunately were my children's table. 2 hours!! Everyone in the room was laughing as the joke was there must only be 10 plates, the next table wasn't being served until the pervious was finished.
Over our 1 table it took over 15mins for all our meals to arrive. This was unfortunate because we are a generation that waits until everyone is served before you commence eating. So over half the table ate cold food. Which unfortunately was myself and cold snitzel never tastes good.
The room itself was clean and presented beautifully.
There's a lot of room for improvement in wait staff presentation.
I hope that you are able to improve as you can see the potential there.
I'm sorry, but as for the poor birthday lady, she was terribly embaressed and upset.

A little surprise well worth the visit. Had driven past many times - so glad we finally stopped & enjoyed a lovely meal. Special prices are amazing, service just spot on & meal quality great. Nothing negative to say at all!

Absolutely shocking bistro,no roast no pasta at 1pm cold food mind you 12 in bistro!! Excuse delivery comes today, dirty serving counter dirty cooking utensils there as well.need any more,sorry run out of bread rolls twice,hope this is helpful.long patrons of hotel.

Absolutely disgusting, dirty and rude staff. Do not even think about using a toilet here, they are filthy and when you bring it to the attention of staff they just laugh and say we will pretend you never said anything, the cleaners can deal with that overnight. Should be zero stars do not even think about going into this place. Should be shut down for health and safety reasons.

5 of us and 2 meals came out then 13 min later other 3. Only had schnitzel but small and tough. Ceaser salad was good but could have bounced egg off of walls. So much for soft. Fish and chips nice. Front counter staff great just think kichen staff may be a little overwhelmed.
