We were a table of 12. Told to order on QR code. All meals came out together and once finished the plates were cleared quickly. The kids loved the playroom & it’s a great option for families. The face painter was a nice addition. Good pub, good food.

We ordered our drinks and was told they were changing the kegs, 30-40 minutes later still no beers. We had to ask 3 times when we would expect them. Then after ordering dinner, 2 of 4 meals arrived and after asking where the other 2 meals were (20 minutes after the first 2 arrived), we were told they were taken to a different table and the new order would be another 10 minutes. they did compensate us with free drinks but.........

We ordered a Pepperoni and a Spicy Prawn. No good. Dough was good but the sauce was too think, the cheese was pretty much Parmesan, the Prawns were tiny and few and far between and the Capers just dont work on a pizza. Pepperoni was basic and same situation with the sauce. Pizza night, $20 though. Make sure that you double check the payment if you order through the Pass. They dont seem to have the reduced Pizza prices updated on there so had to get a refund of $15. With 'The Pass' app we scored a jug of Hard rated for $20. Thats pretty much unheard of cheap in comparison to some places. That was great. Service was good to. Definitely wont be going for the Pizzas again, though. Until they get someone in to show them how to make them. ;)

We had my mums birthday here. Really lovely touch of a small bunch of flowers and a nice message from the staff, my Mum was very touched. Food was very nice and staff were accommodating. Kids area and good size meals for them to keep them entertained. Would recommend for families 👌

Visited last weekend with my family to check out the recently revamped hotel and it did not disappoint. Such a fantastic venue with great food and service, as well as a welcoming atmosphere and play adventure for the little ones. Both inside and outside have a variety of play options, lots of highchairs available, space to park a pram and baby change table available. The food and drinks were great, you can either order at the bar or use the QR code on the table. Plenty of parking out the back and untimed or street parking available. Would recommend booking a table as the new play space is very popular. They also have entertainment/events on and we were very lucky to receive a visit by the Easter Bunny himself and Alice with some goodies for the kids.

Very noisy when all the families are here with kids. The quieter areas had TVs everywhere and the fake plants looked a little cheap. Not many vegetarian options the eggplant parma was terrible, the salad was soggy and there was too much dressing.

This is my family and I second time attending this establishment since it’s had some upgrades. Well, I had a very pleasant experience. My waiter was friendly, helpful and continued checking on our table. The stag was swift in cleaning our table and refilling our drinks. Thank you for a great culinary experience.

There is truly nothing to fault about this place. The food portions were very generous, quality and taste absolutely and unequivocally on point and the staff were very accomodating. We were in a group of about 25-30 people (including children), and all the food came out roughly at the same time with absolutely no compromise to the quality. I must admit, that was a solid effort by the kitchen staff. Apart from the depicted photos, we also had the kids sliders (completely demolished by a kid who hates burgers with 2 thumbs up), the steak sandwich as well as the bruschetta. Crushed it, team!

Such a fantastic venue for the whole family. We visited for Mother's Day and had such a great day! Pony rides and face painting were such a treat. The atmosphere is so nice and the staff are lovely!

Should have left when i saw how empty it was. Staff are nice but some sit at the bar and just stare at you sort of feels like a hangout for the staff rather than a business. The food was very average not bad but nothing worth returning for. Beer is good and cold.

Maybe we went on an off night, but this place was awful. We ate in the kids/family area and whilst it was well set up for kids, it was way too crowded, noisy and out of control. I get that the venue aren't responsible for the behaviour of children, but there needs to be some signage regarding age limits, expected behaviour when using the kids facilities and supervision by parents. There were much older children using play areas designed for young children and they were playing roughly, throwing items, running around and swearing loudly with no regard for others and no parents in sight. It just wasn't safe for young kids. The food was okay, but the organisation was terrible. Food came out in dribs and drabs, even food from the same order. We received two main meals 15mins apart, followed by our entree, then another main about 30mins later. We had to constantly ask for our toddler's pasta, which arrived at least 40mins after the first meal. The poor kid was starving.

Maybe the best pub in Melbourne for families with small children? Visited on a busy Sunday lunchtime. My kids enjoyed free face painting, pony rides, the indoor soft-play area, and outdoor playground. The kids meals (we chose a cheese burger and pasta) were good but on the smaller side. The soft serve icecream bar is great. I enjoyed my grown up steak. The staff are friendly and efficient and we didn’t wait long for our meals even though it was very busy. (Photo taken at midday, minutes after opening, before the crowds arrived).

Massive improvements since the courtyard opening. Previously was overpriced and bad quality of food and there was never anyone there. They have now improved the food and the setting and cater for everyone including children. It is our local so we deffinetly will visit more often now.

I was delighted upon entering the restaurant as the ambiance was amazing but I was delighted more when the food was served! We ordered lamb skewers, parma and bbq chicken pizza and WOW everything was cooked to perfection and served just right on time! Amazing job by the chefs Gary, Made and Joshua. Can’t wait to be back for more!!

It’s the perfect place for families! We love being able to enjoy a meal, while our son plays. In saying this though, I really like that there are different areas so if you don’t want to be surrounded by kids the bistro is a little quieter as opposed to the kids area. Food is good ‘pub’ food- really enjoy the pizzas. The renovations are great and the place has a nice vibe.

I personally think the %15 extra surcharge for a public holiday is ridiculous, 2 parmas came out to $66, no drinks, nothing. And I thought surely since there’s barely anyone here, that they’d at least put some effort into the food, no, the chicken was burnt, and they gave the smallest portion of chips in a little cup, I mean really unbelievable. The only reason I tried that place for the first time is because a couple people told me it was a good place. But apparently owners have changed or something so that would explain the reviews not matching the experience. I’d steer clear from this place.

I have eaten here many many times since it opened and it is always amazing food, drinks and staff. Steak night is fantastic and is always good quality food served wonderfully everytime. The staff are so attentive and always there to help. There is a great kids space with activities and video games. Patrick and Kevin are always very attentive to our needs.

Had a really disappointing experience and unfortunately won’t be returning. Waited 50 minutes for our food and it was awful. We aren’t picky people but the chips were welded together and inedible - surprising as with the food taking so long you’d think the chips would be hot and fresh. The steak was overcooked and chewy. We had little interaction with staff as we ordered through The Pass. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else for dinner. Really disappointed as we’d been looking forward to checking this place out as we live locally.

Great place to come if you have kids. They've thought of everything; there's multiple play areas, everyone orders on the app so there's no mistakes and there's a lot of variety for the kids menu. The food was just okay. Vegetarian friendly too.

First visit, came for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. Peak time was about 630-730 and very busy. Multiple birthday parties happening. Lots of families with kids. Kids really enjoyed the play areas. There was an outdoor play area and an indoor soft play area (more for smaller kids). Even on a cold night, the outdoor area was warm with shelter and heating. However, the play area is not fully covered and was a little bit wet from the rain. Kids didn't seem to mind. Food came out in dribs and drabs but was still ok for a busy night. Food was great. I had barramundi which was cooked perfectly but was still left a bit hungry. Friends ordered steak and parmas, which were decent sized. Couldn't fault the service. The staff were all lovely and accommodating. Parking was a bit challenging when we got there, however was able to move closer as people were leaving. Some parking space behind the restaurant with a back entrance. Handy when cold or wet. Overall great experience. We will be back. :)

First time visit, and it is clearly newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and the decor is fantastic. Had the seniors battered fish with a fabulous salad. The fish was cooked perfectly. The new kids play area looks great, and kids will DEFINATELY have loads of fun and different things to do. Outside area also looks great. Murals in the walls are brilliant and bring it all together perfectly. Well done. Will DEFINATELY return.

A large hotel with multiple separate areas like a beer garden, a children's outdoor playground and an indoor soft play area, the sports bar and a bistro. Multiple bar areas and overall good service. The food is nice but not outstanding. The pie was the highlight.

A great recommendation from a parents group friend. So good for kids and adults alike. Easy to book online for the section you want to sit in. Eg today we booked for with the kids but if we were to go out with friends we could book the beer garden if we’d like. Love being able to pay separately prior to getting our food via the app too. So much easier that way for large groups.

Absolute gem of a place! Beautiful decor and separate kids area, the layout has been well thought out. We had a huge table reservation and they were absolutely accommodating, great service and food. Definitely our new go to!
